"I ordered a Microwave on 2/1/2011 and was told it would be delivered within 2 weeks. Two weeks turned into four. After four weeks I contact the company and they stated that they are experiencing delays in shipping and that the product would ship the following week, which it did not.
On my next call, I was told it would ship on 3/17/11, which did not happen. I called again and was told it would ship on 3/25/11 which it did not (on every call they claimed the product was in stock).
Another call on 3/25/11 and was told it would probably ship out next week, at that point I cancelled my order and asked for a refund, which they have yet to issue, despite two additional call, each time they said it would be processed that day.
Today is 4/9/11 and they have yet to refund the $452.49 to my credit card. As of today, I have filed a dispute with my credit card company to get my refund.
I am starting to believe Homeeverything.com is running some kind of an online Ponzi scheme and feel others should be aware of the shady business practices they are running.
I looked them up on BBB.com and they received an "F" rating (lowest possible score) for lack of shipping and not refunding money. "
"I ordered a dishwasher from HE on 02/22/11. Before I ordered I called for an inventory check. The HE salesperson said they had 8 in stock. They billed my credit card in the next couple of days. I waited about 10 days and a notice showed up on my HE account that they would ship within another 7 days or so. I waited and that date passed with no shipping notice. Then I received a postponment notice that the shipping date had been pushed back another week. After that date passed I called to check on the shipment status. Some person named David said they had received the dishwasher but it was damaged so they had to send it back and order another machine. -Yeah RIGHT! Anyway, This was 5 full weeks after I placed my order. I told David to cancel my order and credit back my card. I called the credit card company to contest the charge if it did not credit back within the legal time limit. If I could give HE less than one star I sure would. On the bright side, I ordered the same dishwasher from Home Depot on a Saturday and they delivered the next Wednesday - no hastles.
UPDATE 04/12/11 - I received my credit card refund for the full amount of the canceled order. If you are reading this now and your order delivery is already late I suggest you cancel your order and request an email cancel receipt from HE. Call your credit card company give them the date of the cancelation and request an automatic dispute to the charge when the credit back period expires usually ~10 days. This is the last time I buy from any company based out of NY. The local BBB and State authorities know about this company (or should know) and they are still in business. Good luck with your refund. Enough Said!"
"If you are looking to buy appliances; this is the place to go. They have the best prices on the internet. The salesman I worked with (Joe S.) also gave me an additional discount for being a returning customer. Their delivery service has always been on time and professional. I will be buying from them again in the future! "
"My shopping experience at Home Everything had its ups and downs. Their pricing is competitive; and their website easy to use.I was disappointed in the shipping delays for my order, but ultimately these issues were resolved to my satisfaction. My merchandise was received in good condition. The deliveryman was very helpful with the inspection of my purchase, and assisted me getting my washer in place.
In my opinion Home Everything could improve their communications with their customers. Based on my reading in this forum and others; frank & timely communication about shipping dates and delays is an area they can strive to improve on. It's also my opinion that e-mail communications should be accepted for all communications. It is unsettling that Home Everything only accept phone calls for certain potentially critical issues. Many customers do not have the time or inclination to wait on hold for busy service reps. E-mail also provides a document trail to substantiate who said what and when they said it.
Finally, thanks to Joseph S. @ customer service for his prompt attention to my concerns when he was made aware of them."

"Do not trust the positive reviews. This company lies to you at every step. They told me the had 10 of the 18 inch dishwasher in stock, when I ordered. Weeks later they had not shipped it. Then they provided a bogus warranty and said it would ship in a couple days, it never shipped. I cancelled the order. Now I am strugging to get my card credited. If you look at thier FAQ they say any cancelled orders are immediately credited to your card, not so. So far they have not told me the truth about anything. Don't believe the positive reviews. They must have paid someone to type them in. Also, if you call in to the customer service expect a 30 minute wait at a minimum to get to speak with anyone."
"Dishonest, Unable to deliver on promised date, Takes months to get a refund, once you get fed up with their lies. There is no customer service to speak of, They will charge your credit card immediately. If you are lucky and get somebody on the phone, they will promise you a new date which will pass the same way as the original date and so it goes, on and on. I suppose if you are willing to wait 3 months, they will eventually deliver, based on some of these reviews. My experience with this web site - full of lies and deception. This store should be investigated and shut down! I don't know who writes these favorable reviews. Must be the owners who came out with this scam.

"Here is the deal with this online store...IF you can WAIT for your item, then this store offers some great prices. If you need your item right away, I would look elsewhere. I received my Bosch dishwasher one month after I ordered it, but it was in perfect condition. Fortunately, I did not need the new dishwasher right away, so I did not mind waiting. Yes, it is frustrating waiting, but I would have had to wait if I ordered the dishwasher at my local appliance store also. I would also have had to pay up front, like I did with this online store. Also, if you are patient, and don't mind being on hold when calling customer service, they will eventually answer. The customer service people were always polite and helpful, but they seemed frustrated that it was taking so long to ship the items as well. So the bottom line is: You WILL wait; You WILL eventually receive your item; BUT you WILL save a lot of money. Lastly, I will say that the trucking company A&M was fantastic! These guys go out of their way to make you happy. They even unpacked my dishwasher for me and looked it over for defects. That was the best part of the sale. I love my dishwasher and it was worth the wait."
"I ordered a french door refridgerator on 2/25/11, and expected a three to four week delivery window. Most furniture stores will take about the same amount of time. After posting to this post regarding my scheduled shipping date that was pushed further back I recieved a call from HE and was notified of the delay and their apologies. For my incovience got free home delivery and extra insurance. I was treated respectively by Frank and given a legitmate reason for the delay. I will shop with HE again if the product comes without blemish. I rate HE excellent for wanting to make the shoping experience a pleasurable one. Thanks again Frank. "
"DO NOT ORDER from HomeEverything. Their store is a scam. They will take your money as soon as you order and then never actually ship the product. You'll receive no updates on order status and any time you call to check you'll be told "It's shipping at the end of the week" or "It's shipping early next week." This will happen every single time you call customer service, guaranteed. I ordered from them over two and a half months ago and still have not received the product I paid for. I was suckered in like many others by the low prices. The old phrase holds true, if it looks too good to be true it probably is. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. "

"Do not order from Home Everything.com or you will be sorry. I ordered a kitchenette unit from them on Feb 22, 2011. Over a month later several phone calls or e-mails and it still has not been shipped. They say it will go out on Monday blah, blah blah every week.....This must be a scam. They billed my credit card immediately but no tracking number has ever been provided, which I assume means they do not have the appliance. So beware, it is not worth the hassle to save a few dollars. The Better Business Bureau in NY has had over 100 complaints in the last 90 days. I wish I had checked this out before I ordered...."

As of today, I am still missing a crucial piece, so I have half a wine column in my kitchen. I've made weekly calls and been told multiple lies about back orders, delays due to snow storms on the East Coast -- they are very creative! Four months later I'm demanding a full refund and they are offering me $125. Really?"
