"I placed two separate orders on 2/20 & 2/25. After reading some of these reviews, I admit I was concerned about my orders. After sending an email expressing these concerns,I was contacted by email the next day. As promised both of my items were delivered and arrived in great condition. I believe that they offer a great selection as well as low prices. I also was impressed with the number of brands available. I am giving them a 4 star rating due to the fact that both orders took almost a month to receive."
"Buyer Beware!!! - They say the are "five star" company. Just because they say it, does not mean anything. I ordered a refregerator (took longer to be delivered than promissed - had to make multiple calls and emails to get someone to contact me back - not by phone but by email). Why? Because there is only one(1) person who handles escalated issues. On with the story. When I finally received the refrigerator 2months later it had scratches on the doors. So I called H.E. and they ordered the doors and 1 1/2 months later I received the wrong doors. Another call to H.E. and emails they ordered the doors again. Guess what! Wrong doors! After investigating this further, I realized that they sent me the wrong model refrigerator. You cannot imagine how frustrating this is becoming. I had to explain to them why they were sending the wrong door. And just to get to speak to that one person, I had to copy the owner of the company on my emails, before he would call me. This is the worst of companys. They do not take ownership for their problems. Then when I asked them to have the wrong doors picked up, they said I would need to get rid of them myself. It would cost too much for them to pick them up. Am I surprised? Not at all. So, beware before you call Home Everything or as I call them Home Nothing."
"You may read many negative reviews about HomeEverything but i'm hear to tell you that they are the best, and definitely the lowest priced on appliances that you'll find anywhere! You will get your order shipped to you in a timely manner and you will be absolutely satisfied with customer service. "
"After being given a 2 week ship date for an in-stock product I canceled my order which was a difficult task in and of itself.
I was billed that same day and here it is a month later and I am disputing the charge with my credit card company.

"On the 29th of January I placed an order for an over oven microwave that was supposed to be shipped within 3 weeks. Three weeks later there was no change in the status of the shipping record. I called and was told that it would be shipped no later than Friday and I should have it by Tuesday. On Friday I checked and there was still no change in shipping status. I sent an email and got a response that the microwave had been damaged in shipment and had to be re-ordered. The next week I called and canceled. I was told that my credit card would be credited within 3 working days. Now 13 days later there is still no crediting of my payment. I called today and they said it should be done within 48 hours. They later called me back to discuss the problems that had occurred, to assure me that the crediting would take place and offered to provide an extended warranty for the unit I had purchased from another vendor. They get points for trying to make things right."
"I am sorry but this place is a freaking joke! I ordered an LG Vacuum on the 12th of February and got the same message: That due to bad weather their terminals were not shipping out their products. Well I waited for almost a month. When they decided to not send me the tracking info, I canceled the order! When I asked how long it would be to credit my card, they told me 1-3 business days. Well it's been over a week now, and I am about to send them an email that I am gonna sue them for the money they owe me! This place is ridiculous! DONT buy anything from them! They will quickly charge your card, not ship your product and then when you cancel the freaking order they don't give you your money back! AS YOU CAN SEE I AM A VERY ANGRY CUSTOMER! I was very reasonable until all this @#$% happened. "
"I placed an order on Feb. 27, but on Feb 28 cancelled it after reading some of the reviews and the BBB info. They still charged my card and two weeks later I am still waiting for my refund, despite their telling me that it would come in 3-4 business days. My credit card is now investigating the dispute, and I am happy I have not bought thousands worth of appliances from them. "
"My old induction stove top broke so I ordered a new one on 2/4. Now it is 3/13 and I still do not have one, and they keep slipping the ship date somewhere into the future. We have been unable to cook for all of this time!
I wish I had read the reviews on this site first. Of course they immediately charged my credit card but I have disputed the charge with AMEX before I paid it so hopefully they will actually refund me the money.
I am now going to look elsewhere to pay more but actually get the product delivered.
Update: review here seemed to get their attention as they contacted me immediately. They shipped it later than promised and it is currently with FedEx. If it shows up in good condition I will remove my dispute with AMEX and pay the bill.
They promised me a 2 year extended warranty and a $50 off my next order. We'll see if any of that holds true.
Update: 3/26/2011
I got the new stove top and installed it last night. I was in great condition and its a relief to be able to cook again after waiting so long.
I removed the disputed charge with AMEX and will pay them with my next bill.
Now to find out if the 2 year extended warranty offer that they made is true.
My recommendation is if you need the product within 6 weeks go somewhere else, but if you can wait they do have good prices.
Update: 4/20/2011
New stove has been working great, it works better than my old one although it doesn't look as nice (my choice).
Tonight I signed up for the 2 year warranty with Buyers Protection Group. Searched for them on the web and it is not clear how good they are, but I will give them the benefit of the doubt for now. I am raising my rating because HomeEverything did provide the warranty as promised."
"I ordered a microwave oven from Home Everything. A day after I ordered it, I got a notice saying it was backordered and would take 7-10 business days to process. There was no indication on their website it was out of stock, or I would not have ordered it here. 11 business days later, no change, so I wrote and had them cancel the order.
I ordered a different model. My order status said "processing, will take 3-5 business days to process." 6 business days later, no change.
After 7 business days, they changed the order status to "backordered, will take 3-5 business days to get in stock."
I canceled the second order, and found another place to order, which had it in stock, and was cheaper, too (on sale).
So, conclusions are: (1) they have no idea what they have in stock (2) they have no idea when they are getting things back in stock (3) they are very slack about "processing" your order.
Also, there's no "cancel order" form on the website. You have to write customer service. (To be fair here, they did respond quickly and canceled both orders promptly, so this is a minor complaint.)
I would not order from these people again until they have their stock problems taken care of, and they clearly display on their website what is and is not in stock and ready to ship."
"On 3/11 I rated HomeEverything a "1 star" because they charged my CC on my order date but after a month had not shipped my bbq though their website said "delivery time of 5-7 days". I was worried they might not be legit because responses to my first two emails were "due to recent weather our shipping terminal was closed for an entire week" though website says they "ship from many different warehouses across USA". However, 1 hr after my 3/11 review posted I was notified that my bbq had just shipped and 2 days later JoeS emailed me apologizing for the delay and asking me to contact him. After a couple tries and after the date the local delivery company should have contacted me to set up delivery, I talked with JoeS who said original delay was due to damage and also contacted the local delivery company to make sure my item would be delivered. Later that day, the local company called and left message saying they would be at my home next morning and the next morning I had my BBQ. So, although I'm not completely sure of the cause(s) for the delay, HomeEverything did come through in the end and although delivery was way slow, customer service was responsive in the end and I did end up getting my bbq and at a price much lower than I could find it anywhere else. So, I've decided to upgrade my overall rating to a "3-star". "
"I checked out various websites for a GE cooktop. There were many stores which carried this popular product and HE was not the cheapest but they promised to match the price on 2/11. After checking with them that they had the product in stock and could deliver in 10 business days - I placed the order. After a month of waiting and checking for updates I still didn't received my cooktop. So I called this morning and spoke with Joe. He was apologetic and assured me that they will ship my cooktop 3/17. It is 3/19 and I have not receive my cooktop or any update on delivery date. Today, 3/23 - 6 weeks after the original order, after multiple broken promises, after I canceled my order, I finally received my cooktop via Fedex. I am sure they would have saved the customer a lot of aggravation and saved themselves a lot of unnecessary expense by expediting the order in the first place. "
"I placed an order for a Five Star range on 27 Dec 2010 and was charged right away. There seemed to be a miscommunication with the supplier about whether the item was on backorder, so my order fell into a black hole for a period.
After a few emails and finally a couple of phone calls yesterday (March 10) to HomeEverything.com and Five Star, we seem to have resolved the issue. I just got a tracking number for my shipment, so I'm cautiously optimistic.
(Update on April 4, 2011)
At long last, on March 24, I received the new range. It was installed on March 25, in apparently good working order. I emailed HomeEverything today to square away the last details for my extended warranty and registered my range with BPG (Buyer's Protection Group).
This whole transaction required a good deal of vigilance on my part, but it seems resolved now. At the moment I'm satisfied. "
"Five stars to Joe S. and Jamie. Had to return a fridge and order a new one and all went smoothly. Will shop at Homeeverything in the future."
"3/14/2011 - I have a tracking number but FedEx hasn't picked it up yet. Joe S. so far so good! Thanks for your great customer service. I'll be checking back again today to see the status on FedEx's website.
3/15/2011 - Package arrived via FedEx in excellent condition and within 1 day of shipping! Wow... Awesome job Joe S. Thank you very much. It took a few weeks but I've got what I ordered.
I finally talked to Joe at X319 and he assured me my product will ship on Monday, 3/14/2011. After all the problems I've had just trying to get this item to ship, I will give him the benefit of the doubt. He also gave me a 5 year warranty and his guarantee the item ships on Monday.
Make it right Joe! I'll be back here writing another review if you don't keep your promise."
