"Ordered a weber s-470 grill on January 19 and just had it delivered 25 February. There was a delay in shipping because I had to deivert the shipment from the east coast to the midwest due to a move. Also NY had been hit pretty hard with snow storms so all of this contributed to the delay. Bottom line is that HE offers the best prices on the internet and with free shipping and no tax they are practically unbeatable. I have read many of the reviews online especially after I made my purchase. I would say that the max time I have had to wait it 2-5 minutes to talk to customer service and these people are not scammers or crooks. They offer quality products at unbeatable prices. Yes you may have to wait a little bit for the product but it is worth it. If you need to have something right away, its probably better to buy at a retail store however you will have to pay retail prices. Make sure that you inspect your product prior to acceptance and you will be fine. After some back and forth with trying to figure out a shipping date, Joe S. took extremely good care of me and made it happen. My grill showed up today in perfect shape and is ready to go for spring! I would recommend this company to anyone who is willing to wait for a great price. I will definitely shop at Home Everything again! Thank you Joe S. "

"As you may gather from reading the other reviews, HomeEverything is an extremely frustrating and deceptive business to deal with. Great prices but no merchandise.
Here's my story to add to the rest....
I ordered two LG appliances on 2/5/2011. I received an e-mail stating one item was on backorder and they would ship after receiving it. After almost 2 weeks of waiting for more info,I emailed to ask for an estimated ship date.I also checked to see if the 2 appliances were still listed on their site as available, they were. I got the same non-specific e-mail reply about them being on backorder. So I called customer service to find out what was going on and was informed that it would be AT LEAST A MONTH before they got more in and AT LEAST ANOTHER WEEK after that to ship. So I was looking at 6 WEEKS AT BEST before receiving my appliances. When I asked why they still had them listed on their site I was told "oh,they are still available to order". I explained that I needed the appliances not just an ORDER for the appliances as I had a contractor already hired and 8 week after the order date just wasn't acceptable. They had a real take it or leave it attitude to that. So I cancelled the order. And now I have to go shopping all over again.
This company epitomizes the warning that if it sounds too good to be true it probably is. Their great prices are only a deal if they can deliver on it which this company CAN'T.
BEWARE!THEY ARE A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME AND EFFORT.
2/21/11 Got a call from Joe S. within hours of writing the above. He went over the particulars of this transaction and reinterated that they did not have the cooktop in stock but informed me that they did have the double oven. Offered to substitute a different cooktop and send order.I thought about it, research other sellers and found the cooktop in stock elsewhere. Called Joe today and told him I still wanted the ovens.He said he would get the order processed and ship. Should be here in 2 weeks. At this time I am cautiously optimistic that this will finally work out ok on at least this half of order. Will let you know in 2 weeks if this can be changed to a high rating.
3/2/11 As pomised, here's the final update. Shipping company contacted us several days ago and scheduled delivery for 3/3/11 in the afternoon. This evening, 3/2/11, the truck shows up with the ovens. We were just lucky we were home to inspect and sign for them. Apparently the local truckers weren't given the scheduled date and time, more evidence of the dis-organization that has defined this transaction. The box was very beat up but the ovens,by outward appearence anyway, were ok. Won't know for sure if they work until installed.
Of all the site we ordered from for our kitchen remodel HE was the slowest to deliver(almost an entire month from order to delivery) and with the most hassle. The longest I waited with the 6 other sites I bought from was 1 1/2 weeks. Therefore my final rating is a 2.
Even though this site offered the cheapest price I simply can't recommend them when all the other sites do so much better on ease of ordering and speed of delivery. The dollars saved by using HE do not make up for the headaches they cause."
"I ordered a gas cooktop on 1/10/11. They charged my credit card immediately. No communication, order status kept moving a delivery date to end of month. I called after 1/31/11 and they said it would go out the following week. My granite installation was scheduled for February 17th and they used the specs for this cooktop to create the hole in this expensive granite. The cooktop didn't appear and again, no communication, no tracking number ever appeared either. I called again and was told it was going out that Wednesday by FedEx. No tracking number appeared. I called the day after it was due to ship - was told the item was damaged, it never went out and was now out of stock. They couldn't deliver until after the date of the granite installation. I canceled the order and requested a complete refund. You'd think that if you order an appliance seven weeks before it's needed it would be delivered on time. Don't be fooled by their low prices, they don't seem to be honest businesspeople!"
"I placed an order on 1/17 for a dishwasher -- I needed it soon since our old one broke. Home Everything had a good price and appeared to have it in stock. They charged my credit card immediately.
A day or two later, I check the status and it turns out it's "back ordered" and due to ship between 2/2 and 2/7. Well, that's not good business already: (1) companies shouldn't sell things they don't have, (2) at a minimum, they should tell the customer the item is not in stock at the time of sale, and (3) they should not charge the credit card until the item is shipped.
So, it doesn't ship. I call on 2/9 and they say it will be another week and a half, that they are "preparing it for shipping" but have been delayed because of the storm. Hey, I understand some delays are inevitable, but a week to ship something you already have? Ridiculous.
Now to find somewhere else that has the same dishwasher and cancel the order with Home Everything. Based on prior reviews, I guess I will need to dispute the charge with the credit card company, too....
UPDATE: Joe S. from Home Everything contacted me and agreed that I hadn't been treated properly. He offered acceptable compensation for my difficulties. So I'll update this once the dishwasher's shipped.
UPDATE #2: I'm now (2/17) informed that the dishwasher's been shipped, so I have changed my rating from a one-star rating to a four-star one. Assuming there are no further issues, I'll be satisfied with the resolution of this problem and won't update this review further.

"I ordered a Bosch dishwasher as a Christmas gift for my in-laws on November 30th, 2010. Starting on 12/4/10, I made an inquiries as to when the item would be delivered. I was told the shipment would be delivered in 14 days. When 14 days passed, I inquired again and was told the item was on backorder. I contacted the company eight times via e-mail and received a different ship date every time. I finally called on 1/17/11 and was guaranteed that the item would ship on 1/21/11 and I would receive a confirmation e-mail. On 1/24/11, I canceled the order. I was sent an e-mail saying that I would be refunded in 10-14 days. It is 2/4/11, I have yet to be refunded.
I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
Update on 2/8/11. I received a call from Joe at Homeeverything. He offered me money to remove this review. I declined. I'm still waiting for my refund for the product I never received.
Update on 2/11/11. It took 56 days and multiple failed shipment promises for me to cancel my order. It took 19 days after I canceled and a complaint on this site for me to get a complete refund for a product I never received."
