"Placed an order on 1/4/11 still waiting on a status update on 2/05/11. Called customer service and they cannot get a date from their supplier on shipment to them before they can ship the items to me. Best case prediction is now is the 3rd week in February which is approximately 7 weeks. I will be shopping at other sites for similar prices, hope to cancel my order with Home Everything real soon. I don't like the fact that they do not advertise the stock status and/or delivery date.
Currently no feedback from Home everything on when we will be receiving our order products. Home everything has good prices but awful customer care service."

I have order from HomeEverything more than once and they do have some good prices. However, recent events has made me stop shopping with HomeEverything.
Their promotion for free dinner gift card and other promotion was not honored. I made at least 5 attempts via email and twice on phone call so far to get my discounts and promotions. Each agent I spoke with on the phone said they would handle but didnt. Recent emails via their website with order # and such was even ignored as I have not heard back from my most recent email.
This is very alarming as you think you are getting a good deal with promotions and discount and it turns out that it doesnt happen. Then why shop here? Everyone can just shop else where and get the discount which probably will be better price than HomeEverything.

"Do not buy from this company. I ordered a Weber grill from this company on 12/16/2010. For about a week, my order status was 'payment being processed'. I figured the delay was due to the holiday and waited patiently. A week later status changed to 'shipment expected 1/4-1/9'. I was eager to get the grill, and by 1/7 Amazon has the same item for the same price. I called HomeEverything for a status update and was told there might be a delay. I spoke with Rich and instructed him to cancel the order. Five days later my order status remained the same and no credit was posted to my bank account. On 1/10/2011 I sent a message via their online form requesting that they update the order status and that they post the credit as soon as possible.
Today, 1/13/2011, I checked the order status. This time it stated 'shipment expected 1/18-1/23'. I called the company and asked them for a status update. The rep repeated what I had seen online. I told them I had already called a week before to cancel my order and he was unaware of any cancellation; asked to speak to a supervisor and received the routine "he's in a meeting". Told the rep to cancel the order and provide me with a reference number. So far I am on hold for 20 minutes and waiting...

I sent an email to cust serv to find out, thy sent back saying it clearly states it could take 4-6 weeks on our website. Guess what it doesn't. if it really does, send a link.
The email goes on to say that I could have paid for expedited delivery, yes almost 50% of purchase price- i guess if they really tell you (they don't) that it would take more than a month - I might have paid for the extra shipping. If your saving hundreds or thousands of dollars i guess they could be ok if you want to wait over a month- otherwise don't waste you time and money- tough economy- we the consumer deserve better service."
"Here's the deal people -- It takes HomeEverything 4-6+ weeks to deliver your order because that's the amount of time it takes them to find a scratched/dented/refurbished product in the color and style you're looking for and get it out to you.
We just received our stove yesterday, after 6 weeks waiting. The delivery guys dropped the stove off on my narrow front path, and asked for $20 to move it any farther. Okay, whatever. But since the stove was packed in amongst two feet of snow, I only had a chance to give it a cursory inspection. Once I got the stove inside and fully unwrapped it was obvious the thing had been rolled/dropped/smashed with a forklift at some time. Paint gouged out of the stove surface right down to bare metal, and one of the side panels was dented inward.
The external packaging looked great when they delivered, so they obviously repackage damaged goods to make them look like new. And with a 6-7 week turnaround, what am I going to do, ask for a new stove? Give me a break. I guess I'll just live with the gouges and dents.

However, they agreed to pay for the return shipping and refund my money. I have chosen to buy local, for time reasons. It only took a few emails in a 24hour period to get this resolved. "Very frustrating purchasing experience. The prices are by far the lowest, but the service certainly needs drastic improvement. It starts with the long call wait time and continues with inaquerate information on order status. I ordered a grill in September that was listed in stock and it took 3 months to be delivered. Each time I checked on the order status I was told 5-10 days, only to find out that I was getting an auto e-mail response. When I finally realized what was happening I spoke to various Reps along the way, each time getting a different answer. When the grill finally arrived, it was delivered without the cover, which took no less than 6 phone calls and numerous assurances of delivery. Three weeks after the grill delivery, I still have not received the cover.
I know that Home Everything has gotten very good reviews, but I would be hard pressed to recommend them or purchase from them again in the future."
