"Ordered two appliances on different dates and the shipping for both items has been UNSAT. I was told different stories on the phone for each purchase and two weeks later after being told they had the washer in stock I am without a dishwasher and a 'proposed ship date of 2-7 December'. It is painfully clear that their 'free shipping' is at the expense of 'it'll get there when the truck is full' and they have no friggin' idea when that will be. Since they can't nail down a shipping date, they play a shell game with information and will leave you hanging out to dry in the meantime.

great prices for certain but I will argue that this business model will not survive in present state. I, for one, will support their demise.

" This is going to be a ongoing review untill all is done. My husband purchased a refrigerator for me as a Christmas gift. After reading the reviews and checking with the BBB, I would not have ordered from this company. But, the deed is done. Order placed on 11/24/2010 told would deliver in two weeks (12/8/10) then updated to ship week of 12th. I will keep you updated as to If and when we receive the refrigerator. HomeEverything please let this order go well. It actually looks like you are attempting to get your customer service rating up, I do hope that is the case. I will return when I have more information. Happy Holidays! 12/8/10 received email from HomeEverything that our refrigerator has shipped. Yes, I am aware of Manna Distibution Services reviews. I am keeping an open mind and will keep you posted. I am really getting excited to get my new refrigerator and hay it is actually shipping earlier than the notice of (week of the 12th). I will let you know.
12/10/10- As promised here is the final part of my review. Today my husband received a call from the trucking company saying they were on the way to my house with the Refrigerator. My husband said that he open the box to inspect the refrigerator, he says it looks beautiful no external damage at all. So, lets recap. Ordered on 11/24/10 received product on 12/10/10 just a little over two weeks from start to finish. Please keep in mind this is my Christmas present. I am very happy and I believe this company is doing everything in their power to make customers happy. Thank you so much HomeEverything! Please note this was a curb side delivery, the refrigerator is not installed yet, I will let you know how it works. I am hopefull.

Last update: My new refrigerator is wonderful. My husband and sons installed it on Saturday. I would buy from HomeEverything again they did a excellent job! Keep up the good work.

"Let me say that like many people, I have experianced significant delays in getting my product... but the light is at the end of the tunnel! I've been assured by Joe S. that my new Weber Grill is on the dock and will be on the truck by early next week!

I wasn't terribly surprised to find that there were order delays on an end of season product order. But I'd read a lot of reviews here and decided to have patience. I also recognize that I live about as far away from them as possible in the lower 48, so I know it's going to take a little more time to assemble the shipments that would come to my area vs. ones for people who live in closer and urban areas. My patience is going to pay off quite nicely in the end... aside from getting a GREAT deal on a high end grill, no shipping, no tax - I'm being given a generous credit with HomeEverything to make up for the time, and to make up for the fact that certain things associated with the grill are currently being offered for free. So basically all those little extras for the grill I didn't buy, will be purchased with the credit. I'm more than satisfied. And while Joe has been so expectionally helpful, I will add I've always found the CSRs there to be very poliet and professional.

In this economy when you want that higher level item, it can pay to be patient in delivery. I will order from them again. I will encourage friends and family to do the same... with the counsel that patience has it's rewards.

"Update: The microwave got shipped via UPS on 12/1. It arrived on 12/3. It was in good shape and packaged well. I am pleased. Overall, I still wouldn't buy from this company again. There is no reason I can think of that it took 20 days to ship. Something just doesn't feel right about these guys.

I ordered a microwave from HE on 11/9. Everything seemed fine. I received an email right away that order was recieved and I would receive an email when it was shipped. When I went to their website and looked at my order it said it would ship between 11/23 and 11/28. I called customer service on 11/29 and told it would be shipped the next day. On 11/30, I went to their website again and they did provide a tracking number for UPS, but according to UPS, they have not received the package for shipping. Based on the other reviews on this website and others, it looks like I'm going to have the same issue as others. They send the info. to UPS to get you off their back for a while, but never actually ship the item. When I ordered the microwave I called and they said it was in stock. Why does it take more than 20 days to ship an items that is in stock?

I will keep this review updated.

"After reading all the posts on here (both good and bad) I decided to give them a try.

Well, I just ordered a GE dishwasher about 20 minutes ago and of course they immediately charged my credit card.

I am sure hoping that like other customers, it does not take a month to get here and it ships rather quickly. It sounds like a pain in the butt to cancel, which I am hoping not to do.

I will actively update this post as to keep others informed of my experience. HOMEEVERYTHNG, if you are reading this, I hope everything goes smoothly.

(12/5/10) I cancelled my order due to finding the dishwasher at a local Sears for $10 more on Black Friday. I spoke with Joe S and he informed me that the money would be refunded but might take a few days. After 6 days, my money was fully refunded.

No complaints here.

"This company is great. I ordered a GE set - range, hood, microwave, and dishwasher on November 8th. The appliances arrived on November 22nd and were installed the same day. We used the range today to prepare thanksgiving dinner and it was amazing. We are so happy with our new appliances, that we recommended HomeEverything to our friends. We were hesitant to order from an online store at first, but let me tell you, this company is quality. No tax, free shipping, and factory fresh items, they even had the manufacturer seal on the boxes! I will be ordering my refrigerator from here in a few weeks after the new year. Best prices online I have come across online by far.

"5 stars!!! We were rehabbing our kitchen and basement and needed to purchase appliances. We had friends who referred us to HomeEverything. We were skeptical because of doing everything online, but it turned out great! Their prices beat everyone and our kitchen appliances (microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, range and garbage disposal) arrived on time. When we had questions Joe S. promptly provided professional assistance. We were happy and then ordered a new washer and dryer. Our house looks great thanks to Joe S. and the HomeEverything team!!!"

"We ordered on October 23rd, but the item didn't ship until mid November. We were charged on our credit card when we ordered rather than when it shipped, very tacky. We never did get the promised email with shipping information. I will not be ordering from HomeEverything again.

Follow up - I got a call from Joe S. after writing this review and they apologized for the poor delivery time. Also took some time to explain how their shipping works, so I would understand why I was charged immediately. They fill a shipment before they ship to a region, so if you are the first person from your region to order in that shipment you have to wait until the shipment is full. They charge the card so that if your card is denied they don't have to scrounge around and remove it from the shipment. Now, he told me they were backed up because of the holidays, but the order was in October and with the "full shipment" theory that doesn't make much sense. Seems like it should be faster during the holidays, not slower.

They offered me an extended warranty to make up for the problems and since I just discovered my "pizza slice" button doesn't work and already have a service call in I decided to take it.
