"Was drawn to HomeEverything due to their pricing (really tough to beat)and placed a very large order (>$3,500). At the one week point I contacted Scott (sales rep at HomeEverything) to determine what the shipping arrangements would be. At the time of order I had indicated that I was under time constraints with a builder contractor regarding installation of the ordered items. Scott expressed concern and after a few emails he was able to confirm that my order would be shipped out immediately following their holiday closing. It is noted that Scott went the extra mile to assist me in meeting the time demands of my contractor by arranging for the accelerated shipping. Have to give this effort a big 5 Star, and thanks from this end!!! "
"Below says it all. In the meantime I've lost out on my other Labor Day sales and rebates. Have been unable to get through on the phone.

"We are pleased to inform you that your order is currently being prepared for shipment. We will email a tracking # once it ships"

" Thank you for your inquiry. Your order is scheduled to leave our facility on Tuesday, September 21st, at which time you will receive your tracking information via email. If you have any further questions or concerns please feel free to reach out to me at anytime. "

" Thank you for shopping at Homeeverything.com Your item is currently on backorder from the manufacturer and will need 7-10 days lead time to ship. Once shipped you will receive shipping and tracking information via e-mail.""
"When you read the reviews about the service from Homeeverything, you'd be reluctant to order. We did and we were, but all you have to have is "patience". We ordered a microwave oven, a 5-burner cooktop and a built-in oven. We placed our order the last week of August and admit it took a while to get our merchandise but assumed that Homeeverything is a brokerage house and they place orders from various appliance outlets. They couldn't afford to stock and warehouse the great variety and quantity of products and sell them at the cost they do and add no shipping cost either. Our microwave arrived via UPS on 9/22 and the oven, cooktop arrived today 9/24. All arrived in excellent condition The prices can't be beat, the shipping is free. I received emails with order confirmations, notifications of shipping dates as well as tracking information and the names of the carriers. We are doing a kitchen remodel and had the foresight to order well enough ahead to receive the appliances before we needed them to be installed. All went perfect for us.
Thanks for the great service ! Carl & Kathy P."
"I KNEW I should have listened to the majority of these and other sites's comments about this place... I did my homework, read the review sites, and looked at their FAQ's before ordering. I went with this company because they claimed to be able to ship and deliver faster than anyone else. I placed an order for a grill on the 15th of this month and still don't have a shipping date. The FAQ's say "on average HomeEverything.com processes orders within 2 business days of receipt." Now they are taking a holiday?!?!? I did email them earlier this week -amazingly, for an additional fee, they could provide me a ship date within 2 days! OF COURSE my credit card was charged the day after the order was placed. So they have my money, but not even shipped yet. What a rip-off!! "
"I placed my order in advance requesting a specfic date for delivery, I called nearer to that date to check the order, there was an issue, I spoke to Carl and he offered me a solution, which I didn't need to use as my order got sorted and the delivery worked out perfectly. Great prices as well, can't be beaten...very happy with the whole experience."
"My order was placed two weeks ago. after I placed Order I did not get any email with tracking information next day, but after 2 days. still It was OK for me. Order arrived almost within the week."
"Let me start off by saying that the original order I placed back in July actually went without a hitch. But I had inadvertently ordered the wrong microwave (their website was having problems searching for what I asked for and I didn't notice the color was wrong because their search led me to the wrong item. So I attempted to buy the correct model and return the wrong one.
That's where the nightmare begins......their customer service is probably the worst I have ever encountered. There is a "supervisor" named Jamie that won't return your phone call and takes days to return an email, each one more cryptic than the last, so getting the correct information is like pulling teeth. So how do you rate a store who responds in stellar fashion on an initial order, but whose customer service is the worst on the face of the earth? My warning.....triple check your order BEFORE placing it, they process, they don't check to make sure it makes sense. Update: I called on 9/17 and was told their internet was down, could I call back in 1/2 hour, so I called back in an hour at 4:00 and the recording came on that they were closed.....their site says the hours on Friday are until 5:00PM....good going guys
UPDATE: 9/29/2010 posted 10/4
I have to take back anything negative I said about this site, why? Because they cared enough to contact me and make everything right. Joe from Home Everything called me and we discussed everything that had occurred after I contacted them about the mistake I made on my order. Unfortunately for me, when I was trying to get help from them, they were in a holiday week, which explains why there were so many delays in getting back to me. HomeEverything went out of it's way to make things right and I stand corrected about their customer service, these guys stand behind their promises and will make things right, just be patient with them. I would recommend them to any and all my friends for future purchases, the appliances are beautiful and perfect. Thank you Joe and the staff at Home Everything.
"
"Good prices, good website but terrible customer service. Next to impossible to get a hold of anyone, phone is either busy or they are closed. Eventual human e-mail response said to call customer service. Highly recommend to avoid HomeEverything.com."
"OK, Here's the deal on these guys. They take a really long time to ship your product, if they actually do ship it.
Don't try to call, you will be placed on an insanely long hold. Email is definitely a more expedient way to get an answer from them.
1 year ago, I bought a wine fridge from them. After pretty poor communication, I finally did get an email with tracking info from them, and got my item 1 month after I ordered it. Came in good condition, and the delivery crew was extremely professional. All good.
I need another one and decided to order from homeeverything again.
A few days after placing this new order (Oct 27), I got an email questioning my shipping method choice. (I selected free shipping). AFter a few emails back and forth with Joe S., I thought we had everything resolved. This was 11/1/11.
On Saturday 11/12, I got an email from their "billing center" email address stating that my order "could not be fulfilled", and they were refunding my money. (Although they still offer the item for sale on their website as I type this review).
***I checked with my credit card company, and my money was refunded in full as they promised.***
In summary, I finally did get to talk to a live person after about 20 minutes on hold. I also got an email responding to my inquiry at about the same time, stating "Unfortunately we were informed by the manufacturer that the order is on backorder and will no arrive for several months, we are not able to fill this order for you. I am very sorry for this inconvenience."
I believe this company to be honest in their handling of my money. Bare in mind, you do run the risk of not getting what you order, and waiting 3 weeks or more to find out you're not. Again, they seem like an honest company. Everyone I've dealt with there, (including the delivery guys) was nothing but professional and respectful. They need to work on their response time and handling of orders. I won't say I'll never order from them again, but if someone else's price is close, I might go elsewhere, as it looks like I have to for my current need. (Note, while trying to submit this review, rr noted that I had reviewed this company before, so to show the history, I've included the old review below. (note - the stars I've given them are based on my thoughts at the moment, not last year's feelings)
August 2010:
I was hesitant to order from HomeEverything, mainly because of some of the terrible reviews here; however, I was in the market for a large Wine Refrigerator, and they were the only company that offered inside delivery at a reasonable cost, so I went ahead and ordered with them.
The day after I ordered, I got generic email from them stating that the item was backordered and would be in (to their store) in 3-5 days.
About a week later, on 8/28, I got a more personal email from Carl D, stating that my fridge would ship the week of 9/6.
On 9/2, I got another generic email stating that my order was being prepared for shipping.
On 9/8, I got a phone call to schedule the shipment, and then this was followed within an hour by an email confirming the delivery date for 9/13.
On 9/13, the fridge was delivered as promised. Two very pleasant guys rang my doorbell, with the fridge already up my front step, and ready to come in. They put it where I asked them to, and although I had to remind them to take the packing material and box away with them, they did it without any attitude or grumbling.
Basically, all in all, it was a good experience. Took longer than I expected (close to 1 month from order to delivery); however, the communication was very good, and I wasn't in a big rush. Also, it's nice not to have my $1000 refrigerator dumped off at the curb, leaving me to somehow get it in the house. The inside delivery was only $50, and with free shipping, their price was the best around.
Would definitely order from them again, although I'll probably check stock with them prior to ordering next time."
"No communication whatsoever other than billing to my credit card. There is no tracking number available. I will update when the item is received.
9/21/2010 Update-
HomeEverything contacted me by telephone 9/15 to advise there had been a problem with at the drop ship distribution center and shipment was ready to go. 9/16 received email confirmation that shipment had been initiated via ground UPS (as expected). 9/21 Item was delivered by UPS in perfect condition. Although sometimes slow, delays appear to be somewhat out of retailer's control when items are drop shipped direct by manufacturer or warehousing jobber. This also may be at the root of others' concerns. When I spoke to HE's consumer service rep on the phone, they seemed aware of the difficulty and working to repair it. In all, with a little better communication up front, I'd give the retailer high marks and would deal with them again."
"few reviews scared me to place my order with them, anyway I went ahead to give it a try. I'm Glad i did, order arrived on time.
my experience was GOOD."
"As a new home owner we are been busy buying all sorts of things for the house. I have been using Amazon for most purchases based on price and service, however I took a gamble for the larger appliances. I found that homeeverything was the best price with free delivery for the clothes dryer I wanted, and Sears was the best price for the washer. As such, I made two separate purchases on the same day. Homeeverything had the dryer in stock, but sears needed 3 days to get the washer in stock.
I got an email from sears three days later saying my item was shipped, and I received it two days later. 5 days in total.
HOWEVER, I have been waiting 2 weeks from homeeverything for a ship date. After a number of emails that went unanswered, I decided to call. After around 5-7 attempts to get thru (line was always busy) and 5 min on hold, I spoke to a male who informed me that there is a truck leaving next Tuesday (another 5 days) to the RTP, NC area, and I will probably receive it on the 17th, a full 3 weeks after I made the purchase.
Apart from the severe lack of response from the customer service until I finally got someone on the phone, I have no idea why an item in stock would take over two weeks to ship. My gut feeling is that the free shipping means that they consolidate multiple customers orders to the same area, hence greatly increasing the shipping time.
Either way, I have not yet received my dryer, but the other 35 orders I have placed via other vendors around the same date were all delivered within 5 days of ordering
last point.. If you need something quickly, don't purchase from Homeeverything.com"
"I placed an order on 8-16-10, my credit card was charged that same day. Today is 9-9-10. I have been told 3 different delivery dates, the latest is next week. The service is the worst of anyone I have ever delt with. on a scale of 1 to 10 I would rate them a '0' I have no option but to cancel the order and try to get a refund."
"Item was ordered on 8-16 and didn't arrive until 9-7. FedEx refused to let me open and inspect before signing for it. I asked FedEx to come back the next day so I could call HomeEverything. After a 20 minute hold time, a rep told me to go ahead and sign for it, so I did that today 9-8. The microwave is damaged... case is bent, door cracked and a couple of pieces are missing. I immediately called HomeEverything again to set up a return only to find that they will be closed for the next four days!
I highly recommend thinking twice about ordering from this company. It's been a long wait, a huge disappointment, and now the hassle of a return. I have asked for my money back and will be shopping for the item elsewhere.
**UPDATE**
Well, I have to update this review because this company went ALL OUT to make me happy. They do read these reviews and they do follow up to make sure they can do anything possible to make the customer happy. I do believe my initial experience was not the norm and even though I was reluctant to take any of their offered discounts on future orders, they persisted in making up for all the frustrations I had encountered. I got a prompt refund AND a replacement. You can't beat that. Thank you Home Everything!"
"Lousy customer service after the purchase. My company has purchased several times and recommended them to our customers as well. We made a smaller purchase $1268.97 in April of 2010.One appliance carried a $50.00 rebate and we all know the rebate drill, so after copying and mailing all the info, after several weeks we got a "denial" for the invoice not having the correct "PAID IN FULL" stamp by Home Everything. It was an ONLINE PURCHASE and the Receipt didn't have that on it so after many many emails with the rebate center and cc's to Home Everything (which never replied to me at all)I finally told the rebate center to contact Home Everything and get the receipt emailed directly to them to suit their demands for a "paid in full"stamp!!!! Guess what? Homeeverything never responded at all BUT I got a new email Invoice from them with paid in full at the bottom but I had to forward it to 'Neco" to which I got a shi**y response, that receipt Cleary showed a paid in full Invoice. What lousy customer support that is to demand a different invoice from the original. I suspect they were trying to make me just say forget it, but NO, it was due and I still want it.
Bottom Line, I received an email saying it was finally approved, but we still have not received it. Today is 9/02/2010,twelve days from being six months and still nothing. Again, my corporation will never purchase from them again and YES, if you do a short comparison on prices you will find some pricing LOWER than HomeEverything. SUCH A SHAME as we made several easy purchases prior to this episode.
*****************UPDATE***********************
Within the hour of posting this review I had a telephone call from Jamie@Homeeverything. He said he had credited my account for the rebate offered amount and that Home Everything was not at fault, rather Frigidare and Neco Alliance .
I have checked on the status of a refund to our account and as of today it does not show. I will update this review if it shows on our account.I have emailed and called Jamie@ Home Everything.
****************UPDATE*************************
Today 9/10/10 we will add this update. After speaking with Jamie in customer support, he "HAS" issued a $50.00 credit for the rebate never received via NECO ALLIANCE via Fridgeadaire. We will most likely purchase from them again BUT we will refrain from purchasing REBATE ITEMS as we believe these are purely gimmicks to deny as many as possible and hoping the many weeks delay etc to get the rebate, will make them $Millions, so we will just buy sale items unless it carries an in house instant rebate. NO MORE MAIL INS FOR US!
We still have not received any rebate check from NECO ALLIANCE,SO I HOPE THESE ONLINE COMPANIES WILL MONITOR WHICH OUT SOURCE COMPANIES TO NOT USE!
Again, I would like to take this opportunity to thank Jamie for his help. "
