"I purchased a Weber S-670 on 8/27/10(Friday). On Monday 8/30/2010 they charged my credit card the full amount. Then I stumbled onto this site (resellerratings.com) and began to worry about delays of product shipments. I called them on Monday (hit option 1 for sales) and asked if they had the particular model I had ordered in stock and was given the answer “yes over 100 in stock”. I asked them if I placed an order online, would they ship it right away and the answer was “yes the item is in stock so there would be no delay in shipping it”. Tuesday I sent them an email asking for the status on when it would be shipped out, I have yet to hear back from them. Today is Wednesday 9/1 and I still haven’t received the shipping tracking number or a reply email to the email I sent to customer service asking about when the product would be shipped.
I will provide updates if/when something happens.
Update: On Wed 9/1 I started playing phone tag with a customer service rep from Home Everything (multiple calls from both directions, no one’s fault, just bad timing) who had called and left a message asking for me to get in contact with him. On Thursday we touched base and were able to talk. He was very kind and professional. He said that my BBQ would ship out on Friday and that I would receive tracking information shortly.
I just logged into Homeeverything.com and checked my order status. It looks like my products shipped on Friday and I had a tracking number that I was able to successfully lookup from the shipper to find out where it was in the shipping process, which says its already in Chicago on its way up to MN with an expected deliver date of 9/9.
I was relieved to find out I would be receiving the product shortly and will order again from Home Everything. I think this situation of being concerned could have been avoided with a little more communication on expected turnaround from order time to actual ship time. I do recall seeing something that said 7 to 10 days for product to be shipped, but one assumes if your card is charged, the product is out the door or should be out the door.
From this experience, I would/will order again from Home Everything with the understanding to not expect to have the product shipped out the next day. I’m not sure what the deal was with the 100 in stock but it doesn’t ship out right away. If that’s related to how cheap they can provide the product, I accept it and am for the price savings. I assume it’s not their inventory, but their suppliers, and the time it takes for them to receive the product from their suppliers before they can ship it to the customer. Price is usually king, customer service was good and persistent.

I believe this is a relatively new company, est. in 2007. This could be growing pains or a problem with management."

at least HomeEverything.com does a fabulous, thorough job reacting to the problems that inevitably arise, scrambling frantically to fix things if & as they occur, so dedicated to customer service that they care about the customer long after delivery has taken place.
Ordering was easy, price matching is a really nice policy, helping me understand the shipping differences between white glove & free shipping was critical, the shipping company they use is stellar, and if something slips between the cracks-- even when it's beyond their control-- they do everything in their power to get things back on track, then follow up after delivery to make sure it all went according to my desires.
this is unheard of in internet based industries, where 'customer service' is a laughable oxymoron & it's a waste of time & money to ensure that 1 customer is happy when there are hoards of lemmings standing in line waiting to fork over cash.
absolutely incredible that such a business motto is not only in place there, but followed!!
We are going to buy a second commercial fridge, as soon as we see if we like this one or not.
I really was unsure if we'd use homeeverything.com a second time, knowing that 'something that i didn't like happened' on round 1; but given the fact that such events are a part of life, the fact that home everything.com cares so deeply about the entire selecting/ buying/ shipping/ delivery/ post delivery experience, i think it might be wise to trust them again. "Last night I placed an order with Joe S on the telephone. He was well informed and helpful with the placement of the order. While I was speaking to him, I had to call my daughter about the order. When I told him that she had to get back to me in the morning, he was so accommodating by giving me his extension and email. The next morning when I left a message about the order , he quickly revised the invoice and sent me a copy by email. When I asked additional questions that day, he emailed me the answers. "The order arrived later than we would have expected, but they did call us to let us know in advance. The workers who brought in our new refridgerator were effecient and friendly. They did a great job. Home everything was wonderful too. They had the lowest price I could find anywhere comparing to both stores and the internet. They didn't charge for deliever nor tax and the installation charge was removed from our bill because of a problem I had in my home with a leak preventing them from completing the installation. I was very shocked by this because the problem was ours, not theirs. The delievery people were supposed to do the installation were the ones to advice me to call them and have that portion of the bill refunded. I did and Rich in Sales/Cust. Svc. was great too. He said it would be no problem and removed that portion of our charges. It was the first time I made a purchase from Home Everything, but would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone."
"I ordered a split AC unit. The description on the item on the web site listed both part numbers for the indoor and outdoor unit. When I received my item it was only the outdoor unit. I called the number listed on the web site and explained my problem. He told me it was just the outdoor unit. I told him the description of the item listed both indoor and outdoor unit model numbers. He put me on hold a long time. When he came back to the phone he told me to look at the web site, he said it did say Each Sold Separately. When I refreshed my web page all of a sudden it listed both part numbers and after them it now had 'Each Sold Separately'. I questioned him on it but he said (of course) that he did not do anything and had no idea that the web site was updated. Told me that I should have known for the price that it was not both. The price on the web site was within line with other web sites, but they were offering a limited time discount on that price that was about to expire. So I ordered from them because the extra discount made it a good deal. This was deceptive business practices. Updating the web site with me on the phone is unethical. He then told me I could return the unit but there would be a charge and he could not tell me how much it would be until the unit was received by them. Asked to speak to supervisor but told he was busy. Throughout the call he had a rude, cocky attitude, offered no solution to my problem. Did not even mention the price of the other unit that I would need. I would never do business with a company that practices such deception again.

"This company had the best price on the GE GSH25JSXSS refrigerator I was shopping for (about $500 below MSRP). It took 2.5 weeks to arrive and was packed well. There was a misunderstanding about installation, so I ended up installing myself after a few trips to the hardware store. Customer service representative Rich told me they would refund the $109.99 charge.
Overall, I am very satisfied with the product and the fact that they will refund the installation charge. There could have been better communication about installation, but the product was such a good deal, I can't complain.

"I recently placed an order on their website for some GE appliances, a fridge, range, and dishwasher. I called customer support to get information about the delivery and I spoke with Joe S. who told me my order was due to ship out over the next 3-5 business days. I let him know that I had a contractor hired to install these for the following week and needed the appliances sooner. Joe told me he would see if there was anything he could do and would give me a call back. Sure enough, 20 minutes later I get a call from him with good news. He was able to schedule my order for shipping the very next day. Just 3 days later my appliances showed up and were installed by my contractor. Everything works great, excellent condition. Thank You Joe and Home Everything for your top notch service - I am impressed.

I even called on August 5th after receiving this e-mail and the phone rep said the Microwave was in stock but the trim kit wasn't. I told him to ship the microwave immediately and ship the trim kit when it came in. He said he would do that. Sure.
Now another two weeks later I get a message that my order has finally shipped.
I've seen several other reviews of this company with similar stories. They're not a reputable company."
"I must admit that after placing my order for a Weber Q200 portable grill and accessories, I was very skeptical about Homeeverything especially after reading some reviews. I did not receive my tracking # in the timeframe stated on the website and my confirming e-mail. I then called customer service and felt I might be getting the run-around as they stated I would get the following week and wanted to end the called. I called back with in the timeframe again and was assured I would have a tracking # in three days – at that point, I was afraid I would never see my grill. But low and behold – I received the tracking # as was stated, however, it took about 2 days for UPS to actually receive the order for shipment. Once UPS got it, my order was on it’s way to me. All merchandise was received in excellent condition and I am HAPPY. So bottom line, I recommend Homeeverthing based on my experience but you must be patient and keep holding when you call customer service as they WILL eventually answer. "
"This is an addition to my review below.
After receiving the microwave and placing this review I received a call from some customer service rep who promised me an extended warranty, and strongly asked if I would consider editing ths review.
I still stand by what I wrote, if Home Everything were legit from the start there would be no need to edit a review, furthermore all these reviews you read on here where they have the same names listed of customer service reps who were "so great" in helping these people out. That I believe is nothing more than an effect of a phone call similar to the one I received.
I would deal with them again, only knowing that I might have to wait several weeks to get the bargain. Not because of great cuswtomer service or speedy delivery, that's for sure.
The Good:
I did receive the Microwave that I ordered.
The Bad:
Customer service with this company is the pitts. I called three times over a three week period to find out where this microwave was. I was told three difreent lies and hung up on once. I had serious reservations about this order and almost cancelled. However the lure of saving nearly $175 on this purchase kept me waiting.
I ordered this microwave on 07/28 and received it on 8/16 nearly three weeks after they took my money for it. There is an old saying that rings true "nice restaurants wait till after you eat the meal to make you pay for it". Homeeverything would do much better to at least put a hold on the funds till it ships and then charge it through when it actually does ship. Yes vendors can do that but it takes a little more effort. After speaking with there terrible customer service I can see why there 4th grade mentality would not allow them to do something as simple as that.
However even with all that said they did deliver on the appliance and I can not fault them for that and I did save a bundle on my GE JVM1790, other big box retailers wanted close to $600 for the same appliance and I was able to get it for $439.
One other complaint, this sums up there customer service. My last call to them they promised me it was going to ship the following Tuesday. We were scheduled to be out of town that week for vacation. I asked (nicely) if they could delay the shipping by two days so we would be home when it arrived. I was told by the rep that no, and I would have three delivery attempts and if I missed all of those I had five working days to go to Fedex and pick this up myself. Thankfully Fedex is flexible and there customer service actually works for you. I was able to call fedex and have them delay the delivery."
"The first time I came across this company, was when we were in the market for a electrolux washer and dryer. There price was similar to our local Best Buy, but they had the option of taking away the old washer dryer. That purchase went off without a hitch. Our second transaction was an electric range a microwave, refrigerator, and a dishwasher, by ge profile. This order required installation of all the appliances. Once the order was placed, I received a call, from a rep who I believe was Mike. He noticed I was a repeat customer, and mentioned that he noticed we did not opt for the "haul away" option. I thanked him for noticing, but explained we were doing our kitchen over and therefore the contractor took care of it. I was impressed that I was called by a rep. As a repeat customer it was something that was appreciated. I felt my transaction was being handled with kid gloves. I have since recommended this vendor to my brother and neighbor. I hope they have a similar experience."

I installed this Samsung over the range microwave last Saturday, and it was inoperable right out of the box. I called Home Everything, and initially got conflicting messages about the their return policy.
