"Well after I ordered I read the reviews and was horrified that 50% were dissatisfied. I had a difficult time finding the product I wanted on the website but apparently the catagorizing problem has been corrected. most of the complaints were for back orders I got an email with the fedex tracking # the next day. So my experience was a good one. "
"Overall I would say my experience was disappointing. I placed an order for five items on June 15, and received a confirmation e-mail response that day. On June 16 I received an e-mail indicating three of the items were on backorder for 2-3 weeks. It did not indicate that the two in stock items were not being shipped. In fact it said they were "in progress". I patiently waited and on July 24 I sent a follow up e-mail asking about my order. On July 25 I received a response saying three items were on backorder, one for a week and the other two for 3-4 weeks! One of the items was one that had been in stock originally, so I called to find out what was going on. I spoke with a gentleman whose dialect was somewhat difficult to understand who indicated the original item that was in stock was noted as damaged when they pulled it for shipment, so another one was ordered. I never received this information in the five week waiting period and would suggest that customer service do a better job of keeping in communication with the customers. I'm unsure as to why the backordered items for 2-3 weeks, then turned into an additional 5 weeks! Secondly I inquired if the items that were in stock could be sent and was told that because I qualified for free shipping, they could only ship a partial order if I was willing to pay a shipping fee. The next day I received an e-mail indicating my order had been cancelled! It was not cancelled by me, so I placed another call to them and was told that sometimes orders get cancelled by mistake! After speaking with a gentleman who was also difficult to understand, he transferred me to Christie, a Customer Advisor. She verified that a refund had been issued and apologized. She was quite pleasant and polite and to Home Perfect's credit, they did issue a refund for my entire order, but that was after keeping my money six weeks and I think I would still be waiting to hear from them if I had not contacted them. I was offered the opportunity to replace the order, but decided not to continue to wait any longer and immediately ordered from different sources. Within two days I had one of the items from a partial shipment with the other two items being processed, and the final two are to be received in three days, all with free shipping! I have ordered from many companies for my renovation and received items within a week or two, and was kept abreast of any changes on a timely basis, but not so with Home Perfect. In reality, three of the items I ordered since my order was cancelled by Home Perfect amounted a $9.82 savings and the other two actually cost me an additional $10.08, so I ended up paying a whopping 26 cents more! I will not order from Home Perfect again as I feel there are more reliable companies with which one can deal and the small dollar amount in savings is not worth it to me to have been kept waiting for my order for such a lengthy period of time. I gave them a chance, but it just didn't work out for me."
"I called to place an order because I had specific requirements for the itmems I was ordering and needed them by a certain date, and even paid for the 3 day shipping. CS was OK on the phone at that point, but then I didn't get the items at 3 day delivery, like I paid for and didn't get 1 of the items that I was told would be there. Then, when installing the faucet a part that was supposed to be there was not, not having a functioning sink we needed the part shipped overnight. With little response I find out 4 days later that I won't get the part for 1.5 week later. No one will get back to me and just provide reasonable service."

"I have had similar issues with customer service. I ordered a faucet nearly one month ago and have been unable to locate it and do not know when/if it is being shipping to me (although my credit card was billed immediately after placing the order). I have called customer service a half dozen times only to be put on hold. I have ordered plumbing fixtures from other websites and typically, I receive an email confirmation of my order and if it is on backorder, I will get a second email and have an opportunity to cancel with a full refund. Home Perfect will charge you 10% just to cancel an order that isn't in stock and has no ship date! They might have good prices, but in my opinion, it's not worth the risk of having to deal with customer service."

"I received a damaged vanity from Home Perfect.I noted the damage on the delivery slip, e-mailed them, and even called them to report it. H.P. told me to take pictures of the damage which I did. Now I'm told that since I took the off box to take pictures of the damage, they are no longer responsible. They don't seem to understand that I can not take pictures of damage through a box.When I asked to speak with a supervisor, I was told that supervisors do not speak with customers because they are too busy running the company. Even following H.P's written policy, doing what they verbally requested, and spending a large amount of my personal time trying to resolve this issue, the only resolution I have is to accept damaged goods at a cost of over $600 or as of today, accept $100 off the total cost. This is not acceptable,I've had a bathroom with no vanity/sink for almost 1 month while this is going on and I did nothing to damage the product.Please note,they do not accept vanities as returns. "
"Don't call customer support! If you interact with this site strictly by email and web pages, they are reasonable. The customer support is inconsistent and unpredictable. This order was placed due to an incorrect finish on a single item in a larger order, and was indicated on the website as in stock and ships within 24 hours. I never received any emails for order or shipping confirmation, and when I called a week later I was told the item was backordered and wouldn't ship for 2-3 weeks! I asked to cancel the order and was told I had to do so by email, even though they canceled the previous item over the phone. I sent the email expecting it was destined for the proverbial black hole, however received confirmation of cancelation and refund within 48 hours."
"Great prices? Yes. That's where the good news ends. The sales rep told me an item I ordered was in stock and would ship about 2 business days later. Turned out it was not in stock and took over 2 weeks to arrive (one item did ship and arrive quickly). Very frustrating because I told the rep time was important. The rep checked the inventory before I committed to placing the order. In most cases, the shipping delay would have been no big deal. Two weeks is reasonable in many cases. What frustrated me was the inaccurate information about stock and shipping time, then delays in responding to my emails about the status. Updates were given only when I asked. Immediately after telling me the item was not in stock (I had to call them to check on status, they did not volunteer this), I asked if I could cancel the order. Four days later I was told it could not be canceled because it was a special order (something I was not told at the time of ordering). Also, I was told words to the effect "I’ll update you as soon as I have more information" and I'll keep you updated on the shipping status. Unfortunately, neither happened without me contacting them first. Minimal proactive customer follow-up.
After the order was completed I sent an email to Home Perfect to express my concerns over customer service and to give them a chance to respond. I asked for nothing (refund, return, etc.). Silence....no response. I'm sure they will offer a response here at ResellerRatings to portray they actually care or to minimize their mistakes.
If you're looking for a good price and don't care about shipping times, Home Perfect might be okay. Just don't expect much in terms of customer service."
"Unbeatable prices. Fast shipping. Average at best phone customer service. Some of my items Were on backorder. I believe the call center is in India. I had some difficulty getting the customer service rep to understand my needs. Overall, a decent experience and I definitely would buy from them again."
"DON'T use them unless you know exactly what you're want and have the exact part number!!! They also have the worst shipping I’ve ever seen. I was looking for a garbage disposal switch. The description of the item was 1 line. I thought I was getting the entire unit, however only received a small replacement part for the unit. Their website is VERY misleading and the item descriptions are poor, at best.
After receiving a replacement part and not the actual unit I was looking for, I tried to return the item. They made me pay for the return shipping, when I already paid $8.95 for a part that weighed almost nothing. I went to UPS and found out the item cost only $2.25 to ship to me in the first place. This means they made $6.70 additional on an item that only cost $19.20 in the first place. Then they wanted to charge me a 25% restocking fee even though their website description was misleading. What a joke!!! I’ve purchased countless items from them over the year which cost in excess of a thousand dollars and when it came down to the return of a $19.20 item - they wouldn't budge from their "policy". This is the worst customer service I've ever received.
