"I ordered a minidv from Ice monkey on 11-11-11 and it got here and does not work. I emailed them and they said that it has been more than 30 days and they could not help me. Wow! It has only been 13 days, 8 of that was in the mail. When it got here I did not open it immediatly. When I did it is not working."

"I ordered TWO *new* 9-in DVD players for our trip. The package came and there was only ONE in the box and it looked used. I contacted customer service immediately and was told that it was a refurbished product and to take a picture of the box & shipping materials. I told them I wouldn't have purchased it if it was refurbished, but other than that I took the picture. Then they responded asking me to take a close-up picture of the shipping label. I did, they responded again saying that they wanted me to take another picture of the box. I emailed back saying that was ridiculous to take so many pictures of the very same thing I had already sent and I wanted a refund. I haven't received a response yet.
Ridiculous! I shouldn't have to take any pictures of anything, you should know what you sent me (or in this case did NOT send me). This purchase was for a specific trip and now we won't even be able to use it what we bought it for. Nice. Oh, I forgot to mention that there was NOTHING with the DVD player in the way of instruction manual or anything at all.
Update 12/17: I received a refund for the DVD player that was never shipped only after sending a ridiculous amount of pictures back to them and after posting my report here. I asked to get a full refund of all of the products because the DVD player that was sent didn't work well at all. I sent the products back, they were received at IceMonkey on 12/5. I emailed them on 12/14 to check on the status of my refund and to this date still have not received a response to my refund inquiry.
Update 12/20: Still have not received a refund or a response to any of my inquiries.
Update 12/28: Finally received a full refund for all items. Took a while, but they made it right."
"Incredibly easy transaction ! Product, Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, although refurbished, was in pristine condition, well packaged and worked with no hassle. Also, delivery and contacting customer support was incredible easy. They are very responsive.
Their 30 days return policy is a big help and is very rare in this kind of business. It was easy. Overall, buying from Ice Monkey is a no-brainer. I hope they stay this way.
A suggestion for improvement: Details on warranty on item sold should be specified, where possible. This aslo important in this business. My refurbished product came with a 90-day rectified warranty, but I had some difficulty finding the info. Customer service was helpful, though.

"I placed an order for a tablet advertised on the site for my step-daughter's birthday. I received the item quickly, but didn't think to open the box right away as I didn't need the purchase for another month or so.
As my step-daughter's birthday came closer, I took opened the package and was going to fully charge the tablet and update the software. After trying to use the device for about an hour, I gave up as the tablet wouldn't even boot up.
I returned to the site to find out how to return the item and saw it was past the 30 day deadline for returns. Expecting the worst, I was pleasantly surprised. After a couple of e-mail exchanges with Melissa and a return of the item, I was given a full refund with no hassle.
I was definitely disappointed about the non-functioning device but the company is great to deal with. Low scores for the product (although not there fault since they are a reseller), but redeemed but the great customer service."

"Ice Monkey ships by US Postal Service, so the tracking number takes a few days to get into the system, but the product arrived the next day. I could not ask for better service. The MP3 player that I bought was refurbished and $10 cheaper than my other favorite sites (Amazon, Newegg, Buy.com). It is not worth the hassel when it takes weeks to get your order and you have parts missing. They refuse to be reasonable and I advise anyone to take their business elsewhere."
