I ignored the review thinking this probably happens on occasion. Unfortunately the thread length on the mirror mount was an inch too short. The package the mirror came in said "Yam mirror" (Yamaha?) When checking fitment for my Harley, their "system" said "IT FITS!" Yet it DIDN'T FIT!
The good part was that they fully refunded the mirrors after I contacted them about the restocking/return charges they suggested were part of the return when using their "Automated Web Site".
I asked why I had to pay a fee for a return that was due to their error in stating the part fit my bike, and the person helping me did a work around to waive the fee.
I think most companies suffer these issues because of the automation they have used in order to stay profitable. All parts being made in China because of cheap labor companies aren't willing or able to put live help in their businesses to help their customers find parts that fit correctly or that may be knowledgeable.
You "can" contact a sales rep if you need one but for the most part even they rely on their system to tell you what you read yourself on their site. Most likely, IF I had called and asked they would have told me the part would fit."
