"I've purchased from J&P cycles for two years now. This is the first time I've had any issues ordering online via their website. I am a gold member, and will continue to purchase parts through them despite recent issues. I assume it's just a technical difficulty with their website via checkout.
Last two orders have had shipping charge problems via the website order form.
1st order....the webpage submitted my order as "next day air" despite me having checked the free ground shipping. I was charged an extra $70 for the service. I called within 10 mins of placing the order when I received the confirmation via email that showed the error...and was told it was too late to change the shipment processing option. I did receive the part the next day...but would have gladly waited another 7 to avoid the extra $70 charge.
2nd order...I used a discount code on the website when checking out good for free shipping.....and was charged $8. Customer service was able to make good on the discount and refund my credit card.
Thank you for the opportunity to share my experience. Like I said, I will continue to order parts through J&PCycles...just hoping the online checkout issues will not continue. "

"tried to cancel this order the next morning and was told it had shipped already but when I checked pkg. status,it showed not shipped yet. Received notice late that day it had shipped. Now I have had to send part back. Had sent a question for the Tech dept to answer and no one ever gave me an answer(5 days) till I called back and was told the part would work..(it did'nt) anyways,,still like J&P and will continue to use them."
