"JenJenHouse was the place i ordered my wedding dress, and can i say the staff couldn't be more polite and obliging. I requested the train be half the length from the original model, and it was made exactly the length i wanted.

the dress was made in a record time - 10 days the most from the date i ordered it..
dress is exactly like the one on the picture, and its of an excellent quality.
i can't be happier

"As many people on here have already said, I wish too that I had read all the negative reviews first before I committed to this god awful company! But when your in a hurry for the right dress, you sometimes lose focus and boy did I lose an expensive focus!

Where do I start! I ordered a standard size 14 wedding dress and instead I got a dress fit for two! It was NOTHING like the picture, instead it looked like something from the 80's! The lace was shockingly poor quality, the hems were badly sewn and the worst part was the bow at the back was stitched onto one side instead of in the middle. It should never have left the production line in that state, it was terrible! But because I was called away to sort out some wedding drama's, (of which I fully explained about) it was after their 7 day returns policy before I could contact them. Not only this but I was also slapped with a £20 goods handling tax fee as the dress was coming from China. Now as far as I'm concerned, I paid my postage and packing at the checkout and its all very well them saying its in the F&Q's about possible extra fee's and that they choose the fastest method of transport to get it to you, but here in England, we have the choice whether to pay extra to have it delivered faster. And if I wanted it sent that way, I would have stated that! But instead the option was practically chosen for me without my knowledge and I had no choice but to pay extra which infuriated me!

The next drama was over a month's worth of distress, upset and pointless pleading e-mail's from them, as myself and my father tried in vain to get them to take the dress back and give us some sort of refund. This was just a joke in itself! My dressmaker had condemned the dress unwearable and said it would cost far too much to fix, of which JenJenHouse said I should take it to a local tailor and they would help pay 25% of the final fee. I felt quite insulted by that comment, seeing as my dressmaker has been in the business for over 40 years and only lives up the road from me in the same village! You can't get much more local than that!! I think she knows what she's doing somehow. Anyway they weren't at all interested about the quality of the dress, instead they kept quoting their 7 day policy at me despite me saying that I was stuck with an unwearable, poorly made dress! So after starting off with 25%, we then went up to 30% or 35% even though I said I wanted nothing less than 75% back! Eventually my father settled on 50% as we just couldn't be bothered with all the extra stress and hassle it was causing me and my family! So all in all I received a £78 refund, but WAIT! Because the refund went via PayPal, they have a handling fee of £4.02 so my total payout was £73.98 instead! Disgraceful, this company sure know how to scam you of your money! This amount does not even cover the cost of my new dress that I had to go out and buy and seeing as I paid £157.29 for the JenJenHouse dress plus the postage, which took it up to £178.08 plus £20 tax charge, so the final cost actually being £198.08, I've been robbed! I think thats absolutely appalling, to think I've had to pay all that money for something I'm not satisfied with and to boot, I'm stuck with it because they don't want it back! What do I want with an unwearable dress?!!

At the end of the day, it doesn't matter whether I contacted them before or after the 7 day policy, the dress was FAULTY and should NEVER have left the factory in that shockingly poor state! So what do I think? I think for starters JenJenHouse have got off very very lightly here and if my wedding wasn't next week, I would be taking this matter a lot further! But seeing as I want to put this very unpleasant situation behind me now and concentrate on my upcoming wedding, I can only warn others NOT TO USE THEM!!! Please take the time to read the reviews and go elsewhere, somewhere that you know will give you the proper customer satisfaction you deserve because believe me, they're not sorry and they only care about the money at the end of the day and NOT you!

"Fast delivery, very good communication, and great quality !
I was so surprised to see how fine lace work is on the bodice but also on the train. The lining is very well made and I'm totally smitten with a dress i'll be so proud of wearing on my big day. I'd definitely recommend it as it's really classy and meets with all my expectations!I wish my future husband could also buy his outfit at jen-Jen's ! "I ordered a beautiful custom gown for my sons wedding in November. 4 days after I submitted my order I changed my mind about the color of the dress. Jenjen House was very understanding and changed the color for me without any hassle. Within 2 weeks the dress was at my door. I couldn't have been more pleased. The dress was the color I wanted and fit me perfectly. The workmanship is second to none. The materials used are exquisite and the tailoring is super professional. The dresses are reasonably priced and shipping cost are very fair. I would recommend Jenjen House to anyone who is looking for a custom made special occasion dress. I will definitely shop there again."

"My mother recently bought my wedding dress from JenJen house, the pictures looked amazing! We thought we had stumbled on a diamond site! It turns out they are con artists. the dress was nothing like the pictures, the flowers that were on the skirt were sewn on with two stiches and they had huge holes in the middle and they were all creased and falling off. The inside of the dress was ripped apart, and with ordered a small USA size 6 and it was more like a UK 12. We contacted jenjenhouse with the pictures of all the faults, and thought we would recieve the money back, we didnt, after numerous emails (as there is no other way to contact them as they are in CHINA) they did however email back, it wasent until we got through to paypal who also hounded them in whcih we got a pitiful 59.00 back. baring in mind she paid 20 pounds to bring it into the Uk (they dont inform you of the over shipping fees btw so be informed this insent inc in ur delivery fees) and she paid 20 pound in delievery fees. she made a measly 19 pound off the 140 dress, which isent worth 20. BEWARE OF JENJENHOUSE if you read the good reviews youll notice a pattern, they are clearly faked by jenjenhouse. and if any are real, the people who write them, clearly like cheap looking market dresses made by chinese people who need glasses as they cant sew for toffee. THANK GOD i dont get married for another ten months and i always plan ahead or my wedding day would be ruined by them. Please Please be warned the pictures are FAKE and the dresses are CRAP.!!!!!!"

"I ordered what I thought would be a lovely long dress for my son's wedding. When the package came I was shocked to think that my dress could be in this small, swollen torn box. The dress was not folded well and smashed into a box too small. The dress is so wrinkled that I am in negotiations trying to return it. I say negotiations because I have contact their customer service, sent in the required return request form, with pictures ( also required ). I was then given a return ticket number and today received a email requesting more pictures and explanation that JenJen house using small boxes to keep shipping costs down. I must now send more pictures and wait. My son's wedding is in 2 weeks ! The cost of having this dress pressed is more than if the dress was shipped ( which I am charged for ) properly. I am very disappointed!"

"This is absolutely a SCAM and a CRIME. If only I read the reviews before I ordered my dress. It is nothing more than a knock off of the designer dress, what TERRIBLE advertising, what a misconception. You need to be reported and shut down, I'm sure it's nothing more than a sweat shop. I ordered a normal size 14 without any alterations, you can't even get your arm through it. They stated that their size 14 is NOT the same as in the US, that would have been nice to tell me when I ordered it. The quality is HORRIBLE, with lose threads all over it. Please readers, DO NOT GET FOOLED and make the same mistake I did. Never ever again, at least I learned a lesson, unfortunately an expensive one."

"100/ 100 for the service so fast and great communication.
The quality is great and for the price I paid and I wasn't expecting that.
The shoes are amazing/ stunning and I recommend them to all the lovely ladies about to get married. So comfy too! Now I have to decide upon which one to wear on my special day.
My dress is breath taking. The fine lace work and pretty floral pattern is divine and the attention to detail with beads and sequence just makes me teary. A few long threads hanging but that is easily fixed. The size was right for me slightly too long for my shoulder straps but this can be sorted without wreaking my dress quiet simply. Very long train that sits nicely.
The invisible bra 3/4 cup was average and I wouldn't pay full price but sale price is adequate. Thank you so much to the hard workers I feel bad that I paid so little for my gorgeous products. I will be shopping here again for sure. When boxed arrived it was ripped but everything inside perfect and safe.

"I recently received the dress I ordered for my son's October wedding. although the dress itself is lovely, the zipper does not work properly and I am fearful that on the day of the wedding it will snag the material and either jam up completely or rip the material. secondly, the jacket that was ordered to go along with the dress is about six sizes smaller than that of the dress and is so far from fitting that even alterations wouldn't help it! I have only received on response fromJenJen and that was the standard, " so sorry but.......". My other three emails have gone unanswered and there has been no information forthcoming on how to return this item. Never agin will I order from any company that operates outside of the laws and regulations of the United States. JenJen house does a tremendous disservice to the Internet community of sales and these other companies should put pressure on JenJen house to act responsibly in there customer relation service area. by their non action in theses issues, other companies will not be given a chance by consumers for fear they will be treated the same way . My advice to anyone thinking about purchasing a dress from Jen Jen house, ask yourself first if your willing to throw $200+ in the trash, do that first and let it sit in the garbage can for a few weeks, then at least if you want your money back you can go dig it out, otherwise if you have a problem with your item from JenJen House, you'll never see it again and could be stuck with something you can't use. ******. after this review, I was finally contacted by JenJenHouse on a compromise to the situation. I was offers 50% refund on the cost of the dress and I would keep the dress and seek to have alterations done on it. However, since that offer JenJen House has yet to respond to my requests as how this refund will be applied and when. unfortunately it seems that the only way I can get them to reply to me is on a public forum such as this. I was hoping that this would have all been settled by this time. I can not in good conscience ever recommend the services of JenJen House to anyone in need of formal wear based on their customer service .
