"I DO NOT recommend purchasing anything from this website! My daughter ordered a standard sized dress for an upcoming dance. It resembled the picture on the website, but was not nearly as pretty as the picture depicted. As such, she didn't care for it and wanted to return the dress. In accordance with their return policy, we requested a return form so the dress could be returned/refunded. The response we received from JenJenHouse.com stated that the dress was "made from scratch after the order was placed and their return policy differs from off-the-rack stores". They also advised they would ONLY accept returns when the dress is defective, wrong size, or wrong color. In addition, it was stated that "it is really unfair for their company to shoulder the responsibility" of us not liking the dress. I re-read their return policy and NO WHERE does it say that returns are limited to those 3 reasons only. Had JenJenHouse.com not omitted this important detail, I would never have ordered the dress. I reached out to them once again requesting a return form and received the exact same email response from before. Also note, I was able to find this exact dress on several other websites, so in my opinion, it was NOT made by "scratch". The customer service provided by JenJenHouse.com is extremely poor! Should you decide to purchase from this website, do so with extreme caution as you will unlikely be able to return anything! Expensive lesson!"

"I would NOT recommend this online merchant. The colour of the dress was not the same as the website and the overlay chiffon was quite a different colour to the underlay charmeuse. The "ruffle beading" which you cannot see clearly in the photos is just sequins with beads, like you'd put on a child's ballet costume not an evening dress! The 5cm they add to the bottom for heels should not be added to "hollow to floor" measurement unless you're planning on wearing platforms. BUT WORST OF ALL - THEY DIDNT POST MY REVIEW ON THEIR WEBSITE!! Obviously only post the good reviews!! They were quick with making and delivery but by the time I pay for take the dress up and try to fix beading I may as well scrap this dress and buy another. Refund policy will not allow a return unless the colour is wrong but cover themselves with clause that colour may differ slightly from website."

"I ordered my year 12 formal dress from jenjen house and it arrived 2 days ago and I am really really happy with my purchase. I was really quite apprehensive about ordering a dress online, especially after reading so many negative reviews about the website but since I really hate shopping and dresses in the shops are so much more expensive I thought I'd take the gamble and hope for the best.

I ordered a dark navy chiffon gown with ruffle beading and put in custom measurements. It cost a little bit extra but it is completely worth it if you are unsure of what size bracket you fit into. The dress arrived in a nice box, with authentic tags which gave me confidence. The quality was much much much better than I expected! All the seams/ hems are done flawlessly, the beading is secure and very pretty and the colour is very similar to the sample on the colour chart.

A few tips if you are thinking of buying a dress from this website:

1. you can ask them to send you pictures of dresses in specific colours which also allows you to see the dress in different angles etc. (the picture on the website can be a bit small and difficult to make out the detail). Just click "ask a question" and they will get back to you within approx. 24 hours :)

2. A lot of reviews complain about the sizing being slightly off so to avoid this I would seriously consider putting in custom measurements - it's well worth the extra bit of money and they add an extra few inches for high heels which works well :)

3. make sure you leave plenty of time for them to make the dress and before you order read the cancellation/ refund policies because they are pretty unforgiving!

"I ordered a lace dress from JenJen at the beginning of July and was notified 5 days later that the dress was not only ready but had shipped. It took longer to travel than to make! And was I impressed when it arrived?! The quality of the fabric and the finish of the garment was better than some really expensive dresses I paid far more for. "I recently purchased a Bridesmaid dress with JenJen. Intially there was a problem with the Colour not matching to what I thought I had chosen.
The problem was rectified and I got exactly what I wanted. The dress is absolutely beautiful and made really well.
I would suggest purchasing sample colors or seeing if you can have some photos sent. A big big thankyou to Hardy who sorted out my problem for the big day. I am extremely happy with my purchase and you use JenJen again.
