"I have made two purchases from Joybird now. The first was a sofa I had debated for two years but was nervous about buying internet furniture. After reviewing the returns policy I felt pretty good and ended up having nothing to fear, as the couch is perfect! It was a custom item and I knew it would be several weeks before the item would arrive, and it arrived within the predicted time frame.
My second purchase was a set of chairs. When they arrived, they were well made but not at all the color I was expecting. I freaked out a little but called customer service and was quickly and professionally arranged a return. I was told to call them when the delivery company came to pick up the chairs (that was about a week later). I called a Joybird and was promptly issued a full refund. I was blown away at how easy the process was. I have full confidence in shopping Joybird."

"Overall, our experience with Joybird was wonderful. We got our free fabric swatches quickly, ordering was easy and straightforward, the update emails were informative, and they even sent a handwritten thank you card after delivery.
The chairs [Soto Chair] themselves are incredibly well-made, beautiful to look at, and comfortable to sit on. The mid-century modern design fits the style of our home perfectly. The chairs really make a statement; everyone who walks into our house compliments them and asks us where we bought them.
Our only disappoint came during the ‘final mile’ delivery, which was handled by 3rd party shipper, J. B. Hunt. Delivery with J. B. Hunt was pretty frustrating with many conflicting emails regarding delivery, unreturned phone calls and a temporarily lost order. However, after bringing these issues to Joybird's attention, their customer service was top-notch and they went out of their way to make sure we were satisfied. It's clear they really care about the customer and want to make the purchasing experience flawless. "

"They failed in pretty much every way possible. For a company that sells themselves on their ongoing updates into the production process, they have the worst communication I've ever seen from a retailer.

I ordered a media console in the middle of March, with a delivery window of mid-May. The window came and went with zero communication or update from Joybird. Crickets.
I called their customer service and was told there was a material delay and that the delivery would be shifted back to mid-June. Not awesome, but I'd already waited 2.5 months. It was odd that I had to call them to find out what was going on, though.
Next month same story. The new window passes and there's zero communication or update AGAIN. I called customer service - again - and they have no idea what's up. No movement on the order in their system. They said they needed to call their production team in Mexico and would get back to me in 1-2 days.
I received an email 2 days later that said the order needs to be pushed back again to AUGUST. That's almost 6 months after initial order date. To "make up" for the delay they offered a $75 gift card, where a previous customer service rep stated that we'd receive, at minimum, a $250 refund when it was pushed back to June.
I cancelled my order, and was fully refunded within a few days. So there's one thing they were able to do in a timely manner! Based on the tone of the reps I spoke to and the overall experience I'd wager they'll be gone soon. Buy elsewhere."
