"I’ve visited the store and enjoy the initial feel and look of the piece I’ve chosen. However, I do feel as though they should have furniture premade without the chosen color to cut down on the 6-8 week delivery time. I understand they have some quick ship items but it’s very limited. Joybird should consider having a few quick ship pieces for VARIOUS models. For example the wilder!!! They should definitely consider this for their best sellers. If it wasn’t for the 20% restocking fee they charge for cancellation I would be cancelling my order for get something sooner. But in the mean time I’m stuck with no sofa for the next 6 weeks. "

"On Feb 23, 2024 i visited the showroom at 83 Wooster Street in Soho NYC. I was helped by Justin Mayer. i decided on the Hughes Sleeper Sofa and storage Ottoman in Cobalt Blue. when i realized i needed pillows- at least the lumbar pillow( your sofas are deep) i put the following on my order: 1 lumbar pillow, 2 large square pillows, one round pleated pillow .
i then decide against the pleated pillow and changed the fabric on the 22" square pillows Justin emailed inovice but my card was charged more than the invoice.
when i asked Justin Mayer to explain, he had a hard time. here is what he finally told me:
my order confirmation was J574840. total of that order confirmation is $3697.40
the invoice for this order is $3697.40
However I was charged $3728.97 + and additional charge of $118.68 for an upcharge - i should have been informed about the upcharge at the time of sale
Justin told me i would receive a refund of $150.25 based on items removed from my initial"inquiry" but nowhere is this stated on the final invoice.
This is unacceptable. it is the antithesis of transperancy and good business practices."

"I need to return a recent purchase and there is no easy way to do this via your website. Not to mention a 25% restocking fee which is completely ridiculous in this era of free shipping and returns. I actually want to replace my items with different sized ones, and yet I am penalized hundreds of dollars. I've recommended Joybird to so many friends and family after buying a sofa from you in 2019 but I am seriously reconsidering it now.
