"Ordered a Hansgrohe shower pipe. Was told that they would have to ship it from warehouse since I wanted it in satin nickel and would take 7-10 business days. After 2 weeks I called them on status and was told there was a problem that warehouse sent wrong item. Will take another 7-10 days. After 2 weeks I contacted them and no one would get back to me. Finally told that they contacted warehouse and would have them expedite shipping to them and they would expedite shipping to me. Another 5-10 days. I kept calling. Warehouse shipped to them and then when KB got it, they decided that ground shipping was the way they would send it to me making it another week instead of overnight. Spoke to a Supervisor, Christine, who said she would try to get some type of compensation for trouble. After not hearing from her for another 5 days, I contacted her. She told me that management said they would not compensate me unless Hansgrohe compensated them. It has been 7 weeks and I still do not have my shower pipe. Never ever ever again. Beware. "
"I ordered a sweet shower door (Enigma-Z) for our office bathroom project. I placed the order online but received a notice it would out of stock for quite a while (I apparently ordered the engima X) I called to cancel as I needed it sooner than it could come and had to come up with a Plan B fast. The sales rep listened to my dilemma, told me the Z was available in the time frame I wanted for a little extra money. We did the deal, the shower is beautiful and installed. Now my office shower out shines my home bathroom...may be time for another upgrade at the house. I wrote this review due to an automated email followup but I would have written it anyway, it was just nice to be prodded so it got done. "

"I've ordered many items over the internet and have reviewed many companies. This is the first five star rating I have ever given. The main reason is the sales person I talked to...Greg S. My wife and I are remodeling the guest bathroom and had decided on putting in a frame less sliding shower door, We finally selected the DreamLine Enigma model. I searched the internet for the best price and found it at KBAuthority.com. It was discounted by 55%. I then started researching the company and found a few negative reviews. So I decided to call. After talking to Greg I new I had the best company. The door I wanted was on back order and wouldn't be able to ship for until April 18th with an arrival date ten days later. Greg told me that he would contact them well before that to ensure that it would ship on time. As it turned out through Greg's persistence he was able to have it shipped on the 12th and it arrived on the 18th. Way to go Greg. Thank you and your entire team at KBAuthority.

"I came back from Paris and wanted a similar tub door to what I had there. KBA had one at the best price. They shipped it and gave me technical help on the installation."
"I ordered a Duravit toilet, tank and seat.
The items were delivered promptly, but the seat and tank were damaged, so I need to send them back.
I had to take several pictures and email them to KB and wait on the confirmation to return it.
After I received the confirmation, KBAuthority set up a pickup time with FedEx for the items. They will not replace the items until they have the damaged ones back first.
Unfortunately, they could only tell me that FedEx *might* come by to pick up the items starting April 15th. They will attempt 3 times. They do not know what times nor days. So far there have been no attempts.
This is crazy. Who can stay home a questionable number of days on FedEx's whim?! This is now delaying the completion of my bathroom reno.
KB should do the right thing and send the proper items first, since this is their mistake. $600+ for a toilet and now I'm getting a "it's not us, it's FedEx" answer.
They are just passing the buck

After not hearing back, I followed up about the return/exchange. They did not know if I wanted an exchange or a refund, despite asking for pictures and specifically asking what I wanted to do the items (obviously exchange was noted).
Now because they refused to send me the new items as I sent the damaged items back, part of my order is out of stock and I need to wait an additional 2 weeks or more. I've downgraded to 1 star.
Very dissatisfied.

After searching the local hardware stores and online, everyone had the same high prices for the specific type hardware we wanted. Then I found KBAuthority. Their wide-range of product selection of course included exactly what we needed. But the best part is that their prices were lower than all of the others! It was easy to order from the website. Our order was securely packed and arrived in great shape. And the bathroom looks beautiful!!"

"I ordered pulls for our cabinets. I sent an email to find out whether they they were in stock and to see whether they had the pulls in a larger size. Alex T. Informed me they were in stock and went above and beyond to find that they did have them in a larger size and even added them to the website for ease of ordering. They arrived quickly and although we haven't had time to put them on the cabinets yet, they look beautiful."
"While their prices are good, the service here has been awful. We ordered several items in January and were told they would all ship together once one of the items that was back-ordered came in. In order to keep our project on track we cancelled one item. We then had to follow up multiple times to get a refund.
A month later we called back to check that status on the 'back-ordered' item and were told it would not be in until March 8. This was not great for our project but we were still juggling subcontractors and thought we could make it work. March 9 we called and they said it wouldn't be in until the end of March or early April. They would not give me a concrete time. I then called the manufacturer and learned that the part in question was not actually released onto the market until the 8th. At no point in this process were we told this information which would have affected our choice of fixture. I then called KBAuthority back to try and get specific tracking information which ultimately wasn't provided. Finally, in order to make sure we could finish our project, we had to cancel the item and source something that would fit with the rough hardware. When we received the updated invoice from KBAuthority, they had added a shipping charge due to their 'policy' with no regard for the time and hassle this entire process has been. After calling and requesting a courtesy reduction, we were told the profit margin was too low.
I will be calling back tomorrow to make sure a refund goes through for that item as well, we'll see how long that takes. We will not be using KBAuthority in the future, though their fixtures were lower than other sources, the time to get them as well as the time on the phone with customer service was not worth it. "
