I had several questions regarding my needs and the slight differences between available products. He answered them all in a timely and professional manner. The laptop arrived, I loaded the OS and drivers, and everything has been flawless.

I'd like to talk a bit about price. I searched long and hard and found that it was possible to buy cheaper....by about 2%. When you consider the long history of excellent service and stability of this company, it really doesn't pay to buy elsewhere.

"This is a surprisingly great little company. I ordered a 'budget' gaming sytem for right around $1000.00 and I am totally pleased. The guy on the phone (may even have been the owner) gave recommendations based on my budget and specs, but was never pushy. We exchanged numerous emails and many were responded to within hours-EVEN ON WEKENDS. You can get the components cheaper--maybe by a little, BUT the entire package with warrenties, tech support and overall expertise--I would not have gone anywhere else. Very happy.

The owner, Kevin, spent time answering my
questions and made useful recommendations. His
answers were always prompt and informative. I
spent two weeks asking questions before I placed
the order. I asked for a special set-up, as I
have a disability which prevents me from doing
much physical work. Kevin set my system to my
specifications. KC offers testing the PC before
shipment, a service I value. Kevin gave reasonable
time estimates for delivery (which were met). I
rate his communication with me as very good (given

Yes, a person can find a better price with a
pre-assembled system from one of the biggies,
but, I wanted a custom PC with components I knew
about, assembled and tested by a real person
I could talk to if the system ever fails (KC
offers life-time support). It was important to
have the installation done the way I wanted (disk
partitioning), not as some company wanted (I also
have the full cd of Windows, not some limited,
vendor-specfic version). I once had Micron build
a system for me and it came with the fan and case
USB port disconnected.

I am very satisfied with the system I
purchased and with KC-Computer's service.

"I've bought three pc's from KC over the last five
years and a mother board and uprocessors from them. In all cases I received what I'd ordered and the material was in good condition. All the
computers worked ok. There were troubles with
one of them and an agp video board was replaced
at no charge to me. When troubles occur as seems
inevtable with computers I've always been given
good advise at no charge when I emailed kc. One
consistent aspect of the emailed responses to my inquiries has been their speed. I've written back and forth three or four times in a day when I've had some problem.

I've not saved the paper to be able to give you
an invoice number. the last full computer I bought has the date 7/27/02 on the sticker on the back.
