"We love Kauffman and brought one of our cars to get 4 tires replaced. We didn't realize that there was a Braves special going on so the place was chaotic to say the least. We dropped the vehicle off after our service at the dealer around 3 pm. We never received a call on the status so we went back to the store around 6 pm to check on the car. We had to wait over 35 minutes to find out that our car had not even been started yet. To this point no one explained to use the issue with the longer wait due to the Braves special. We told the crew that we would just come back the next day. We came back and ended up waiting another 45 minutes to check out with our car. It was only then that someone finally explained to us about the Braves special that was clearly causing serious headaches for the staff. I would recommend that if you continue the Braves special, you have people schedule an appointment and honor the pricing if the appointment is made on the day of the special. I also think you should do a better job of communicating the situation to your customers so that when excessive waits occur, the level of expectation is already in place. I also think that if you have these special, you need to over staff your locations, the poor folks at our place were swamped!"
"They called me the day of my appointment about 4 hours before I was to have new tires installed, saying the tires haven't come in yet. They did give me a better tire, for almost the same price. The installation took 2 hours, even with an appointment! Then when I washed the vehicle that evening, I had seen where they had scratched all 4 wheels at the bead of the tire. Guess you get what you pay for! "
