"I rented a book for $71.12 and a week later the price was $55.31. The website says, "if you aren't satisfied, we'll fix it" and "Committed to customer service." I contacted Customer Service and asked if they could honor the price of $55.31 since it was significantly lower than what I had been charged just a week earlier. I received a response from a representative saying that their prices fluctuate and they could not do anything about it. I said I wanted to file a formal complaint because I was very dissatisfied with their customer service, and all I received was an email saying I was being credited $5 towards a future transaction. As a customer:
- I requested to file a formal complaint and the representative ignored my request.
- I was offered a $5 credit when I was charged $15.81 more than the current price.
- I am being forced to use this website again if I want to use that credit, which means that Knetbooks doesn't lose anything; on the contrary, they will continue profiting from my transactions instead of providing a fair resolution to my complaint.
The website may say they are committed to customer service but it couldn't be more far away than the truth. "
