Crappy service, crappy site

"I rented a book from Knetbooks for $50. It was a great price so I decided to give them a chance, after 7 days my book still didn't ship I I contacted customer service. Turns out they over sold/rented and didn't have the stock but also never bothered to update me with an email. So I asked when I could get my book, they said they have no idea because they're trying to get more from the manufacturer. All the while I am STILL being charged $50 for a semester long rented yet I have no book in hand and cannot do my assignments. The only thing they offered was an upgrade to standard shipping and when I asked for expedited instead the rep said I could call and pay the difference as if this was my fault. Next time I'll pay more and go with amazon like I normally do and I highly recommend skipping this site for books, they over promise and under deliver."

"I was told my book would be in 01/14/17 and I have still have not received my book and now I am behind in my class. ALSO I need my book a week longer seeing my class isn't over by the due date but it wouldn't allow me to extend my period with out paying for a full rental again. I refuse to order books from this site again. Horrible communication issues. "

Two for one

"I ordered a textbook rental and it got here relatively quick, taking into account that it was a rental, but I was surprised when the textbook was delivered because I received two copies. Later, I received an email about the second book and it stated that I only have three business days from the date the email was sent to return the second copy or else I would be charged for it. Seeing as it was not an error on my part the ticking clock is very irritating since I am a college student with no car and not much time to run errands, especially in such a small amount of time. "

Easy to use... but the delivery is a tad late.

Great price. Need faster shipping.

"It is my fault. I ordered a book last minute because I didn't know I needed it for class. I seen the 4 to 8 business days for delivery of said textbook. I'm not a fan of ups mail innovations. I would prefer shipping via ups or via post office. It seems to be a waste of good delivery time as I was my book just sit at one place. I'm hoping that it will arrive tomorrow. Tomorrow is 8 business days. I am beating myself because I should have spent the extra 20 and just bought the book from the college book store. I won't rent again from Knetbooks.com"
