"I have been charged double the amount of what the product was supposed to cost, and I feel both baffled, disappointed, violated and angry. It was not in any way made clear that the discounted price (which was confirmed all the way to the end where I made the payment) was only after a rebate, which has to be mailed in for and can't even be done until 14 days after shipping, AND will then take "up to 10 weeks" to process only to be given back in the shape of a prepaid visa card.
The whole thing really does not sit right with me. This is an outright deception scam - I've essentially been tricked into lending lens.com my money for several months and this is outrageous. I am sure I am by far the first one to be absolutely appalled by this. It's just not ok.
Don't buy from Lens.com. I certainly never will again.

"I can not recommend this web site. They sent me the incorrect lenses and then were dawdling in their response to correct their own error. I had to call three times and received three different answers. Finally, when I reported to them that I had every intention of publicizing my poor service , I finally was able to get my expedited lens. In addition, their own website review site will not allow me to leave a review and, I have still not received by rebate card."
"Getting the lenses was not a problem. However, the process to get the rebate is clearly designed to reduce the number of customers to use it. First, the policy of waiting 14 days before applying for the refund is obviously meant to skim off a percentage of customers who will forget about it if they don't do it immediately. Second, requiring the customer to print the form (many people do not have a printer) mail it (many people don't mail anything) and have to get an envelope and stamp. It is truly ironic that the customer has to print and mail a form to a company named Lens.com. Your rebate procedures may be legal but clearly, this company lacks ethical standards and decency. "
