"First of all they did not deliver on time. Second, the chair was extremely poor quality, the adjustment mechanism broke down after three weeks use. I've tried to get this product replaced or repaired, or claim 30 days money guarantee Madison Seating offers. They replied there is no warranty, there is no money back, I cannot replace the chair because "I was supposed to file a claim immediately with the carrier when it arrived". When I unpacked the chair it seemed ok, but it did not last more than 3 weeks. They either sold me extremely poor quality product or the one with latent defect and they did not want to find a solution for the problem. They do not reply to my emails on time, they promise on the phone they would come back with some solution or at least the answer the next day. They never do. I had to send numerous reminders so they could finally reply that I am not entitled to get the money back, or replacing the item even when it doesn't work after 3 weeks of normal use. Very bad customer service, very bad quality product for approx $200 price."
"This was one of the most ridiculous and horrible customer service nightmares of all time. The (very nice sounding) woman who took my order told me it would ship the next day via Fed Ex Ground. Got the confirmation, as promised, and a tracking number. When I called Fed Ex six days later to find out when the Aeron chair I ordered would be delivered, they told me that they hadn't PICKED IT UP!!!! Called Madison. The man I talked to told me that they ship chairs within 10 days, not next day, even though the shipping confirmation said that it HAD shipped, six days ago. Waited two more days. Called Fed Ex. Same Story. I was then told by Madison that Fed Ex had lost it (please note that I knew it still had not left the warehouse - LIE!). I was THEN told by a manager that she was going to "watch it get loaded onto the truck today, even if she had to carry it herself". Call fed ex the next day. Sure enough, the chair is still in the warehouse. I call Madison to cancel the order. They told me that they had already canceled it (no email to me). THEY SUCK. To make matters worse, after looking further into the company, I found out that they sell USED chairs without the Hermann Miller 12 year warranty. THAT INFORMATION IS NO WHERE on the website. I had positively no idea that I wasn't buying a brand new chair. This is absolute fraud. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. They are a total and complete disappointment on every level. Don't be bamboozled by the "great price". "
"We recently have downsized from a 4 BR 3 bath home to 2 BR 2 bath and needed smaller bedroom furniture. Fortunately for me while internet shopping I came up on Madison Seating. I ordered the Tamara Media Chest and love it. It is perfect size for our bedroom. I now will order the nightstands and chest to complete my room. Delivery was quick- within a week."

"I ordered a Herman Miller Aeron chair from Madison Seating. The first chair they sent was defective. It took me 2 weeks of persistent emails and phone calls to customer service to get an exchange arranged. I would have expected better customer service. I just received my replacement chair today. It was missing its lumbar support. You would have thought after sending me a defective chair that they would have made sure that my next experience would be great. No so! Poor marks to customer service. "
"I ordered two twin beds from Madison Seating and was promised the order in 7-10 days. Did not happen. Several weeks later, I received a phone call from the delivery company they contracted out notifying me that I would receive my shipment the following day between 8am-12pm...which I never received. I called the shipping company (Roadrunner Transportation Services, which interestingly enough, received an F rating from the Better Business Bureau) at 12:01 pm and they told me after 20 minutes of the run-around, that they were unable to locate my freight, ie. they lost my order. I immediately called Madison Seating to notify them of this and they promised me a call back regarding the shipment within an hour. They never called back. So I called again and was told they had yet to correspond with the shipping company then in the next breath was told that I would receive the beds by 7 pm. Huh??? Needless to say, I did not receive the beds by 7pm. I called to notify them that I wanted to cancel my order but they hung up on me. Twice. Then they switched on their "closed for business" voicemail recording when I tried calling back again. I called back from a different phone and they answered and hung up on me again.
HORRIBLE customer service! Quite possibly THE worst service I've ever experienced from an online company and that's saying a lot as I complete many online transactions!
*Okay, upon much pressure from who I assume is the manager of the store, Louis, I have agreed to add (not rescind or revise, as that would be dishonest) to the original review. Louis did call the following day and attempted to rectify the situation. It was, however, too little too late. I'm not too upset because I ended up finding a local family-owned store who delivered the exact same beds for $100 less EACH. So we bought the matching nightstands along with the two beds for slightly more than the total we paid at Madison Seating. They also delivered and set up NEXT DAY for FREE. :) So perhaps this experience was a blessing in disguise. Thanks, Madison Seating!"
