"I called on several occasions on the status of my order. Gentleman who answered seemed completely indifferent. He said I would get an answer on a certain day and I had to call back a few days later when I received no reply. The last time I spoke to him he told me I would be getting an email with the shipping info so that I could notify my shipper (who was forwarding the table to Hawaii) when to expect the item. No email. I experienced complete indifference from Madison Seating. Doubtful I would order from them again. I didn't do the survey until my freight forwarder received the item - today!"

"Very timely responses to my questions. Very good web site and online presence, easy to order from, great status updates. The item arrived very promptly and the packaging was very thorough. However, I am still waiting for the resolution to an issue with one of the arms on the office chair I purchased - that's the only disappointing thing about the entire experience. If they resolve that issue, then I will happily refer the company and site to friends and family."

"I placed my order on September 23rd. Today is November 3rd and I still haven't received my order.

STAY AWAY from this company. I called them few times and here are the BS stories they told me:

1. Sorry, your order was received but we are closed for Jewish Holidays

2. Sorry, were were out of stock, we will ship your order as soon as your item is here.

3. Sorry your credit card was declined, we need to get a new one (my bad, i had to change my card a month later) so i gave them a new card number

4. Sorry the department that handles orders was closed , we still don't have your card(gave it to the AGAIN)

5. Sorry, your item is in stock, but we have THOUSANDS of orders so just wait.

6. Sorry, your order is ready to ship, we will send you a tracking number nex week.

So I FINALLY got a tracking number from them on October 31st, the tracking says that a label was created , but the package never made it to FEDEX.
HORRIBLE COMPANY, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!

"i would not recommend madison seating to anyone my experience was horriable.they lied about cancelling my order after a week and there was no free shipping.they wanted me to pay 75.00 more for their quote unqoute free shipping when i called and ask why they cancelled my order after a week they made up a story their web site showed them in stock but they said they were damaged items etc. made no effort to rectifiy to issue save yourself the trouble."

"I ordered the Freedom Task Chair by Humanscale. Before purchasing, I saw the mixed reviews on Madison Seating but decided to take a chance in light of the low price. After I placed the order, there was an issue regarding shipping. I contacted Madison Seating by email and they immediately resolved the issue and I received the chair within a few days. The chair was described as "open box" which also raised some concerns but was in perfect condition when it arrived. Very happy with the purchase and would consider buying from them again."

"I am happy with your online site. Selection was great! The quality of the furniture OK. I did have a small nick in my table. I was not happy with the curb drop delivery. I had to have someone here to receive the furniture. I am unable to lift and carry the furniture. Although the person from the trucking company was very nice and so was the person calling to set up delivery. My son & I quickly checked the furniture because the boxes were dented and somewhat open on the ends."

"Because Madison Seating was offering immediate shipping, I chose them out of all the sellers of Herman Miller chairs. And because they are very good at bait and switch, it took over a month to finally receive the lesser chair at the same price that everyone else offered. Their staff on the phone act like arrogant teenagers, often putting me on hold whenever I asked a question. Then the chair arrives requiring assembly and without a user's manual or registration information. It makes me think maybe I didn't get a REAL Herman Miller Aeron chair."

"As an individual, you will probably be okay with their products. However, as a business, I do not recommend them. We purchased 20 Herman Miller chairs. We were told that these were open box but were assured they were new. Upon receiving them, it was clear that these were not new chairs. The posture fit was old and falling apart. There were also scratches and dents all over the chairs. When I called to complain I was told that they were fragile parts and that is why they looked this way. Later I was told by the manager that they had in fact sent us used posture fits. Within 3 days of getting the chairs, one broke. The mesh part of the chair had popped off. That is when I knew these were used chairs. There was food crumbs and other material in the chair where the mesh had come off! I immediately sent 15 back. We kept the remaining 5 because we needed chairs. It has now been only 2 months and the chairs squeak so loudly. Also, one of my employees almost fell over when leaning back because the chair just kept tilting back! We ended up purchasing chairs from another company that only cost $60 more per chair than MadisonSeating and they have been wonderful! They might have better deals compared to other companies but not worth the hassle and low quality! Spend the extra $60 and go elsewhere!"

"I purchased a chair on Aug 18 that would take 10 business days to deliver. It took a phone call and an email to the company almost a month later to find out that the model had been discontinued. I am very disappointed in the company's response and the time it took to find out that the chair we had been anticipating for almost a month would not be delivered. "
