"On Dec. 5 I ordered the Alpha Egg chair from Madison Seating. I chose them because at the time they showed it as in stock shipping in 1-2 days. The next day I received an e-mail stating that it was out of stock until Dec. 17 and would ship at this time. I wasn't crazy about that because this was supposed to be a Christmas present for my son that has autism but I didn't cancel the order because I still had hope that I would receive the chair. On Dec. 20 I received a call asking if I still wanted the chair. I said yes and was it possible to rush it because it was to be a Christmas present. The woman was very nice, said she couldn't promise anything but would put a note with it. On Dec. 22 I received an e-mail cancelling my order due to inability to get it from the manufacturer. I understand that Madison Seating cannot control issues with the manufacturer but if they had been honest from the start I could have ordered it from another company. Now it is 3 days before Christmas and I am unable to get the chair and trying to figure out what to replace it with for my son. Extremely frustrating. I will not order from Madison Seating again."

"I was recently assigned the task of furnishing my new home. My husband is away a lot on business and was I left to do all the furniture shopping to make our new home "a home". Quite an overwhelming challenge. I stumbled onto Madisonseating.com after doing some research on price comparisons. Madisonseating.com always appeared to have the best price. I read some of the reviews and saw mostly positive feedback. (working in customer service myself I can tell you first hand that customers are not always right and many threaten to leave negative reviews in order to pressure companies to give in to their demands). In any case, I called their sales department and spent 20 minutes on the phone drilling a sales representative, who was extremely patient and helpful, about the quality and dimensions for a living room set. Confident I made the right decision, I placed the order and could not be more pleased with my decision. The furniture arrived within 8 days and looks fabulous. I will definitely be ordering from these fine folks again. Thank you madisonseating for making my online experience a fantastic one!"

"Order online with Madison was very good. The confirmation of the item purchased was very details. It shows the billing & shipping addresses and the shipping contact person name & number. Also, the merchandise number. The thing that I like more was the estimated shipping date is also shows on the confirmation. Since, I have not received the item and expected to receive the item on Dec. 19. Will see if the item arrives on time.

"Purchased a "like new" chair from Madision Seating. It's price were the best and the website seemed legit. However, when the chair arrived the chair is nowhere close to been new. It had scratches and both armrests had damage on them. One side was cracked and one had being scratched up.

If they listed it on the website, I would under what I'm buying but it's a bad surprise. I could have purchased something different instead then.

Call customer support more than 5 times and got the run around. Still no resolution or even update on my case. Terrible service. I guess I won't be buying here anymore.

If it's damage just state it on the website and people will still buy it. Be honest for once. Web sales need to earn trust.

"This place has the exact same items at a higher price than Wayfair. When Wayfair had my items out of stock, I went with Madison Seating even though the price was considerably higher, because I was on a deadline. Before placing my order I called to confirm it was in stock. Cust srvc rep assured me all items are in stock and will arrive at my house within 2 weeks. The After placing the order, I get an email that the items were on backorder for 2.5 months. UNACCEPTABLE. When I called the lady on the phone was totally rude and unapologetic. I cancelled my order and would not shop here again. BEWARE"

"After reading the reviews, most were negative but I was still interested in the fully loaded Aeron Herman Miller chair at a GREAT price. So I took somewhat of a gamble, ordered online, then confirmed on the phone with customer service of my order. They said it would ship within 7-10 business days.

I got my order confirmation, then order receipt within a day or 2. Then waited but never got the tracking number info so I called them back, and they apologized and resent me the tracking number for the shipment from FedEx.

Well the chair arrived as scheduled within 7-10 business days. Condition? Absolutely perfect. Boxed, nice and wrapped. Easy install and I am loving the chair.

So the order was simple and straight forward. I was worried about some of the negative reviews but my experience was great, and normal. I would recommend them.
