Over and above

"My first dealing with master tool repair was nothing less than impressive! I purchased a new motor for my compressor, it came in a timely fashion and the plastic fan was damaged ( this motor was a Campbell hausfeld and was drop shipped directly from them) I called to let them know, they simply asked for a photo and contacted the manufacturer for me and let me know that they were sending me out a whole new motor, so in essence I now have a backup motor, they went over and above my expectations, that’s not always easy to find these days, my hat is off to them for still putting the customer first. "Very difficult to select a part, when California Air Tools requires that your company is the source of parts. Could not locate any CAT compressors to cross reference the part I was looking for.....
Catch twenty two with a possible miss-match on the part I ordered.
Could be an unhappy customer because of this.
Chaz in Parts was as helpful as he could be with my problem, and I thank him, pay him well.

WTF?

"I tried to order a brass fitting from MTR via phone because I couldn't find the part on your website. Chaz told me to look at a parts list for a newer motor, but the part was still not listed. I emailed back, but never got a reply. I finally had to call CAT, and they showed me where to order the part on the MTR website. So.....I'm trying to give MTR money, and MTR just stops communicating with me? I don't get it. Kudos to CAT for helping me, but for the life of me I don't know why they use MTR as a parts supplier. The entire process took over a month, during which I did not have an air compressor."
