"I ordered two parts costing $17.68 and shipping fees for FedEx delivery (only option) totaled $16.80. I ordered said parts on 19 April and sit at 10 May with no parts. Master Tools says they update shipping information everyday but the last update on my shipping is dated 4 May to which is state "Drop Ship" meaning parts are coming from vendor. So I messaged Master Tools and received a reply saying the parts are being shipped from vendor and it takes 6-10 business days. Today (10 May) I contacted Master Tools via phone to check status of shipment only to be told vendor is out of stock and the soonest estimated delivery (key word estimated) would be 30 May. Needless to say I have a piece of lawn equipment that is unuseable and will be for who knows how long. Master Tools needs to do better at keeping their customers informed. When a company states they update status everyday then they should do so. If a vendor becomes out of stock on parts ordered Master Tools should keep the customer informed of the status and continue to do so until ordered parts are in customer hands. I shall not utilize Master Tools in the future for the following reasons, failure to keep customer informed, failure to follow their own policy (updating order status daily), and excessive delivery fees for two parts weighing less than 5 pounds in weight total."

We typically don't update customers literally every day as that's not realistic. We always update customers, however, when the below events occur:
1) Order confirmation
2) Parts on order
3) Parts are shipping
4) Parts have shipped
5) Order is drop-shipping
6) Parts are on backorder
If parts are on backorder with the manufacturer, we always make you aware of this. However, often times the manufacturer will push back the backorder date or change it, which is the case with your parts order. We're sorry, but there is nothing more we can do at the moment.
As for the shipping cost, we realize the shipping rates are somewhat high. This is only because we're temporarily shipping with FedEx only since we're moving our warehouses. We'll very soon be able to offer cheaper US Postal shipping options for our customers, so again this is just temporary. Thank you for your valuable feedback!”
