$40 for a small belt seems excessive

"I needed a small 6" belt for a compressor....unfortunately I can't find this part at very many sites (or not sure if it is an exact match).

This site specifies it fits my model of compressor but the part cost $35 + $7 shipping....Seems like a lot! A new compressor is only 6-7 times the cost of this belt...but I don't want to junk the compressor for lack of a belt so I am giving it a try.

Our cost is relatively high to begin with, hence the selling price of $35. Sometimes there is only one belt that will fit a particular model and if that's the case the manufacturer can sell it for whatever price they'd like. But, we appreciate you coming to us to shop. Fixing up an old air compressor

"first time user and only took me five minutes to find what I needed. I really like the break down and the ability to buy. I did not look around other place for prices... since you guys had everything right there I decided to just buy from you.. I am sure I could go somewhere else for cheaper but right now I just don't have the time to and I am still really happy that I was able to find everything really quickly."

"an error occurred but it won't tell me the error and all fields were filled out and boxes checked. I am HIGHLY suspect at this as my identity has been stolen many, many times in this line of work.
