"By far, this is by far the worst experience I have ever had regarding any of my online purchases. I guess I should have checked the BBB before making my purchase, as it clearly states that I am not the only customer who left unhappy. An "F" rating is not one any company should be boasting about.
Originally, I made a purchase for a Modern "L" shaped desk that was described by the picture in the website that is a 2 part desk. The advertised picture showed a full desk with 2 pieces that formed an "L" shape which is what I was expecting to get. I read the description and it made sense that a 2 part sectional desk would come in 2 pieces as described and shown in the picture.
To my surprise, when I received my shipment, I was missing half the desk. After contacting Lydia from customer service, who was non-empathetic in every shape and form, she proceeded to tell me that the two pieces included one desk and the corner section to attach an "optional" second desk. Funny. There is absolutely no place on the website, nor in the description of the desk that I chose that gave an option to even purchase this. In addition, I showed multiple people this advertisement, had them study it, and all came to the conclusion that the picture displayed is what would be included with the purchase. Multiple people saw this.
Customer service made no attempt to appease any sort of requests or help at all in the matter. Unfortunately, I had no option to return the misrepresented product in that I was told by customer service, "Lydia", that there would be a 15% restocking fee plus I would be responsible for shipping as well. Ultimately, I had no other option but to purchase the 2nd part of the desk to accomodate my needs for my office. As previously mentioned, on the website it gives absolutely no option nor explains how to purchase this section of the desk that the picture portrays.
I would appreciate a phone call regarding this issue. If not, this is a primary reason why DA Stores/Modern Furniture Warehouse currently has an "F" rating on the Better Business Bureau.

I sent the link to the match offered and it did not happen. So, I am not sure what to think at this time. All I know is that I had already placed the order with you. I have not received it and I hope it comes in without any issues. Regarding the discount, If I were you I would not say guaranteed price match if you are not going to do it.

"I had ordered a kitchen table and four chairs. I did not realize that everything I ordered was manufactured in China. After waiting for 4 weeks, I received three out of four chars damaged. A quality of the chairs was very low. When I called to report the damages, I was told that a claim would have to be open which might take up to 120 days. I neither wanted to wait that long nor have furniture in my house of so low quality, so I’ve decided to return everything and forget about DA Stores for good, but I’ve been told that if I returned the merchandise, I would have to pay 20-30% restocking fee. A restocking fee?!!! I hope DA Stores do not resell damaged merchandise! Why would someone charge a customer a restocking fee for something that can’t be resold! When I questioned that, I was told by DA Stores Customer Service that I would have to pay for something if not restocking fee then shipment charges. I’ve tried to explain that the boxes my order came in were all damaged and would not survive another trip. I e-mailed pictures of the damaged boxes to them, but the customer service insisted on me paying shipment fee even after I told them that I would be delivering everything by myself to them.
I would NOT definitely buy anything from DA Stores again ever and would NOT recommend them to anyone. The service is horrible, and their furniture is not worth a headache.
