No tire rotation, no fluids check. They did honor the original price after I spoke up and offered to rotate tires at time of pick-up but I declined since it had already taken hours."

"We had to have both a muffler and brakes done. From the very beginning, the Fairmount Monro store was extremely friendly and courteous. The work was completed quickly and accurately and we even received a discount at the end because I had asked if they took anything off for AAA. They didn't but said they would take 10% off the bill anyway. Both Tim and Tom that worked out front were exceptional men. "This Monro location just entered into new management, and I have to say I am extremely satisfied with the changes that are being made here! The guys in the shop make you feel at home (as they always have in the past). However, the new manager (Jack) is showing sure signs of a successful businessman. Not only have I heard Jack expressing his interests in cleaning up the shop a bit, but I've also seen him taking steps towards doing so while also making the customer still feel at home. "
"Very unhappy with the service. This has been my second time at this location and both times it has taken longer than expected. The customer service sucks, the manager is not friendly or personal, and I have a headace every time I leave there. I will not return and will never recommend a friend or family member there. For a job that should of take 30 min tops it took well over 2 hours. The one staff member that was nice was the gentleman named Greg. But the manager straight up ignored me when I came up to the counter after waiting 2 hours for my car to be finished. No one else was in the store, no one was on the phone... just ignored me. Monroe has lost my business."
"It was my first visit to Monro @ 1745 Western Ave in Albany & I've had a great experience. I came in for the oil change only, which was done on time. My car was also checked for breaks & the rear breaks had to be changed. I was given the best price & they were done as fast as promised. I highly recommend Monro & will definitely come back. "I TOOK MY CAR IN FOR AN OIL CHANGE AND A TIRE ROTATION. I HAD TO LEAVE THE FACILITY WHILE THE WORK WAS BEING PREFORMED. I DECIDED TO MARK MY TIRES TO SEE HOW THEY WERE ROTATED. WHEN I GOT BACK AN HOUR LATER. ONE TIRE WITH THE MARK WAS STILL IN THE SAME PLACE. I WENT IN AN ASKED IF MY TIRES WERE ROTATED. HE SAID YES AND I EXPLAINED TO HIM THE ONE TIRE (AT LEAST) WAS NEVER MOVED, AND HOW I KNEW. I TOLD HIM AND THE FELLOW BESIDE HIM THAT IS VERY DISHONEST.I FOUND OUT LATER THE FELLOW BESIDE HIM WAS THE MANAGER. I WILL THINK LONG AND HARD ABOUT MY NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE AT MONROE AND HAVE ALREADY TOLD SEVERAL PEOPLE ABOUT THE INCIDENT."

His pleasant and helpful, caring manner was refreshing, and his sensitivity to my budget and time constraints was a real satisfier. He went the extra mile to check for best pricing when locating parts needed for repairs and was careful to make all repairs in a timely manner so as to get me back on the road as soon as possible. He is a rare breed these days with respect to customer satisfaction, and establishing long term relationships with his customers. I hope Monro doesn't lose him."
