"I ordered a fringe tree from Nature Hills Nursery. It arrived and looked like a stick. The directions in the package gave assurances that the tree was dormant and may not have buds. I followed the directions to transition the tree from dormancy by laying the tree in a shady area, cover with pine straw and plastic and water daily. Two weeks later, nothing. I contacted NHN and was told that the tree could remain dormant for weeks. I was told to plant the tree. Four weeks later, still no signs of life. I contacted NHN again and said I wanted a refund. I was told that a full refund would only be given within 48 hours of arrival of the tree. So since I had followed the directions in the packaging which gave assurances that the tree was dormant, I had missed the 48 hour period. I was offered 1/2 the price I paid for the tree towards the purchase of another tree. So I could spend 150% on another tree with the possibility of the same results. No thanks. I submitted a complaint on BBB. NHN would not compromise. I asked for a new tree at no cost to me and I would contact NHN immediately upon arrival of the tree for instructions. No deal. NHN is not interested in customer service. The one star I gave is VERY generous. I will NEVER shop with NHN again."
"I ordered 3 eastern redbud trees. They all arrived in a timely manor and healthy. I planted them right away and used their planting tips as my guide. My trees are doing really well and I can’t wait to watch them grow. "
"I received the cherry bush 1st & was very well packaged & so healthy. My Frost Peach tree arrived a few days later & was wilted with top 8” bent to fit box- the tips were wilted, broken & discolored. I watered & planted within hours of receiving. The tips are not so healthy but the rest of the tree looks great. I think the peach tree will do okay & next year(or sooner) I will prune any tips that die. Was hard to get a Frost Peach sent to Idaho so I am very glad to have, despite a bit of shipping shock to the plant. I grew one of these at my previous home in Western Washington & the fruit was amazingly delicious + the tree was easy to grow. I plan to shop again @ Nature Hills online nursery. "

All died after some leaves appeared.
No real warranty, send all the pictures and documentation you wish, Nature Hills blames the consumer.
Stay away from this company, buy local. It is less expensive, you get a live tree with dirt, and the locals tend to stand behind their product, and their neighbors.

"Bought a Blue Chinese Wisteria Tree, received just a Twick no more than 3mm diameter, no branches at all the main trunk had been cut at about 1’ from the top of the roots, the tip of what was now a branch that was trained to become the main trunk looked dead (it was darker and harder than the rest of it) contacted them right away and asked for refund, they gave me this whole tutorial about wisterias and all the work to train this vine into a tree and that was the reason I spent $79 on it. They send me instrucions asking to give it time and trim every single branch that came out saying the tip of it would grow pretty fast and once it reached the desirable height then to cut the tip of iit and start letting branches grow also at a desirable height. One month after got the tree and the top as I suspected is dead, sent pictures eplained the situation and they came now with a story that while there are signs of life they won’t replace it, they wanted now that I took a flimpsy branch as wide as a stinn of cilantro and attach it to a bamboo stick so the granch grows straight and becole the new main trunk, which is ridiculous, I wrote a review on their page; very dicent vocabulary to no take a chance they would block it and to my surprice they blocked it, no wonder why all their reviews al almost perfect. This company is a fraud, any other company would exchange a young tree that die on the top because no one needs to know rocket scient to understand that that tree won’t grow taller."
"Buckleys Quill Mock Orange, 3 Nellie Stevens Hollies, 5 Hino Crimson Kurume Azalea arrived via Fedex in 3 shipments, all in good condition. All specimens had attractive forms, were on the verge of coming out of dormancy (ideal) and have already begun showing new growth. If I had a suggestion it would be to add saturated absorbent material in the bag around the “pot” because the roots were dry and not far from dying."

"This was my first time ordering from Nature Hills. I was pleasantly surprised when my Vanilla Strawberry Hydrangea tree arrived already blooming. It's beautiful. My husband and I planted it a few days after arriving. I was a little nervous because some of the leaves got a little brown at first but I figured it might be shock from all of the changes. It's been a few days in the ground and looks great so far. We will see how it stands up to our goofy weather in Pennsylvania. But so far I am 100% pleased. "
