"Overall my experience was fabulous.
About two weeks ago I placed a order for a Samsung 1 TB SSD thru Newegg and unfortunately FedEx lost it on the day of delivery. So I had to go thru the claims process with FedEx but once their investigation ended. Newegg picked up the ball and was able to replace it. It took a few extra days due to the Memorial Day weekend but I ended up getting it today. While I cannot thank all the individual people that I spoke with on the phone at the various times about the dilemma. I can at least thank Isiah R. Lomas for helping me finalize the 3 year warranty refund/re-purchase on the new one that they sent me.
Its a class act in my book! Nothing but the best!

"Received a J3 Galaxy (tracFone) that was faulty. It screen kept blanking after 9 seconds and none of the settings I or Samsung tried seemed to matter. I called Newegg and they allowed me to keep the faulty phone till I recieved the new one, which was better then being without although I had to constantly hit the power button to use it. They sent me a replacement out immediately with expedited shipping and prepaid UPS label for the old. I was able to use the old phone till I got the new. Very good way to get a replacement. "I've been a Newegg customer for over a decade now and spent many thousands of dollars on tech. They used to have a higher level of QA and customer support than they do now. Their marketplace has also been cluttered with junk that didn't used to be as prevalent. It's a shame because a few years ago, if I wanted almost anything tech related, I'd come here. But now, with numerous other options, they're no longer my first choice.
I have recently had bad experiences buying large TVs. It was a set sold and shipped by Newegg and when I got it, the screen was shattered. This happened a total of three times (yes, three broken TVs shipped to me one after another over four weeks) before I finally said to hell with it and returned for a refund instead of a replacement and went to a local store for a TV.
Most recently, I bought a Note 8 to replace my S7 and the item that was shipped to me was sold and shipped by Newegg as well. It arrived in great condition - but had a dirty ESN. It was locked to AT&T and didn't even match the product description from my original order. I was sorely disappointed that they could let something that big slip through. It's now been over a month since I returned the phone and I still haven't gotten my refund of $494. That's severely disappointing.
I wish I had better things to say about the current state of Newegg, but I simply don't. The silver lining here is a wonderful CSR named Carina that's been -actually- helping me get my refund, unlike the first THREE representatives I spoke to through the chat services. If you have issues, always call them, because their online "help" is not proactive."
