"I placed an order online on 4/4/18 in response to a promotion code offered by them in my email. Order was completed without any problem.
Today I saw an email from them that my order has been cancelled. I called the Customer service and rep I spoke to was very reasonable and understood my frustration. He said they had some issue with my payment but don't know what was wrong? As per him, an email was sent to me which I never revived it. I searched through all my email including my spam folder. I asked him to reprocess the order, but he said he cant becaue the price went up for the same item.
I explained to him that If I would have received an email and there was a problem encountered with my payment processing I would have gone online to fix it or call customer service, but I never did. Otherwise why would I place the order in first place? Or call now being upset about my cancelled order?
Anyway, he went twice to get the authorization from his supervisor to match the same price and reprocess the order, but the manager was adamant, that he couldn't match his own price. He even refused to talk to me, that was very rude.
If it would have been Amazon, this would even have happened, for them customer satisfaction is their highest priority. No wonder Newegg being an older company as compare to amazon is not even close to them and they will never be with this customer service.
I am going to block them from my email and will never buy again. I am happy and will stay with AMAZON.

"I bought a refurbished laptop to replace old machine, but switched out for old Solid state hard drive. Everything looked fine but the wifi did not work. When i contacted seller through newegg support to find driver for the specific chip-set. We did a search for the device but it did not turn up, he indicated sometimes they did not ship refurbished packages with all the parts and would grant me a $10 rebate for missing wireless chip so i could replace it with a usb wireless adapter. Waited few weeks for that but it did not come.
I then discovered the two female usb ports had no support inside so when i inserted the male usb all the pins were squished making the usb based wireless adapter useless. by then i was outside the 90 day warranty and was told good luck. Will have to buy all new parts and repair manually but it's not worth the effort.

"Although I had been burned before by newegg, I decided to take a chance on one of their resellers. Of course this was a mistake. The reseller did not deliver the item when promised, when they did deliver it after three weeks it was the wrong item, and I could not get them to issue me a credit. I had been in contact with the reseller and newegg the entire time but couldn't get any response. A couple of weeks later, newegg issued me an RMA with return shipping label which I promptly used. They never issued a credit even when provided with proof of the return delivery, and in fact when my credit card company tried to get me the refund they refused. Beware!"

"When It became clear that fedex was not going to deliver the package,Meriah found a way to reship it so I could pick it up. She is very well trained and explained the situation and found the resolution. The funniest part of this is that after FEDEX telling me that there was no way they could let me pick the package up at the station under any circumstances... Fedex just called and asked me if I would like to pick the package up at the station. Buy from NEWEGG but don't use Fedex."
