"I buy a product that was advertised as something else. I get an email and noticed right away. Contacted the company. Will not refund or exchange! Should have read reviews of this company :( I also like how they say they are available 24/7 by text or chat, that is all disabled and don’t work after hours! "

"I've bought several things off of New Egg and like with anything, sometimes someone, somewhere is not doing there job right. I've had a reputable brand try to refuse my rebate. I've had over $100 worth of product accessories missing from my package (via third party distributor). Whenever I've had a problem, new egg took care of me and made sure I got exactly what I paid for. "

Very good "Live Chat" customer service today

"I worked with Joie M. today over the Live Chat feature on Newegg.com. The customer service agent was highly effective, very polite and understanding, and was able to resolve the issue. I would recommend anyone firsts attempt to use the chat feature on the website versus emailing or perhaps even calling. The quickness in which the issue was handled was more than expected, and very much worth my time. It is very difficult to perceive any kind of tone in chat, but I feel that there was still a sincerity in the agent's efforts to help me. I feel that Newegg has achieved a high standard of effectiveness in their use of the chat as well as ensured that they hired the right company to provide this service. A notch above many others out there. Keep on striving Newegg!"

Called Unsure and Unhappy Hung up Satisfied and feeling good.

"Purchased a Open box motherboard without realizing new eggs terrible open box policy witch also is very poorly displayed especially for the significance the policy has on the overall purchase decision that didn't come with a single accessory that it is suppose to come with witch is a lot of them and a significant part of the purchase. technically new egg states their not responsible for this and its a risk you take for buying open box so technically it was my fault and i understand why new egg wouldn't pay to have it returned since i hate the majority of people who think its ok to buy something use it and think they can just feel entitled to return it at no cost whenever they want....tho being a big time customer and first time returner i called and expected to be able to present my case acknowledge my wrong doing and politely ask for a full refund as a one time courteous for being a loyal high spending customer. first employee got me the restocking fee waved and wouldn't budge no matter what on the shipping fee he demanded i pay and was also a little pushy and made me feel talked down to but only in the slightest way do to frustration of me not having it not because of the money but principal of it being a understandable mistake and asking for a onetime coverage for my shipping cost do to my significant purchase history and 0 returns so far. go a manager shortly after named Tori a lovely female Supervisor who has excellent customer service speaking skills and was able to quickly hear me out acknowledge my concerns and give me better options and also cover my simple reasonable request to cover shipping cost. i will continue to purchase products from new egg cuz of this. if i wasnt a loyal customer who spends cash like i do i wouldnt of expected a waver of the restocking fee and shipping fee and would of respected the refusal however. so newegg is withoutadoubt a more than leniant and reasonable company when it comes to returns and customer service in my opinion proably to reasonable as they would of let me return the Used moba regardless for 15% restock fee witch will make them lose money. "

Taken Advantage Of !

"I am the mom of two engineering students. They are learning the hard way that not all companies are fair or honest. We order a MSI GL62M 7RDX-NE1050i5 15.6" Intel Core i5 7th gen 7300HO (2.50 GHZ) NVIDIA GeForce GTX for a fair price of $649.00 We received it in excellent condition. We even took pictures of it as we unpacked it in case it was not what we needed. We reviewed the return policy before ordering. The graphic card was not sufficient for what we needed. We repacked it. We paid the $15 and used the prepaid FedEx shipping label and were aware that we would also owe $97.00 restocking fee. We were then informed that the computer would be returned to us because it had physical damage??? We talked with E. Garrett from customer service. He said that the warehouse reported damage when unpacking it. I can guarantee you it was it PERFECT condition when we shipped it. (Newegg reported no damage to the shipping package) I can guarantee it did not even have fingerprints on it! It was not damaged my us! We have since used our local Best Buy to get a computer. .... SO SAD that our college student had to learn the hard way. $649.00!!!"
