"I bought a seat massager from Newegg on Nov 6. The armrests arrived but the seat itself was lost by FedEx. I spent 2 months working with FedEx, the market place vendor and Newegg trying to get my refund. Fedex admitted fault after about 2 weeks but had major issues dealing with the seller. It was hard to reach them but the 2 times a got ahold of her (Jin) she said that somebody from China will contact me. Every email I got from them would repeat same thing that it was delivered. I got RMAs from Newegg but they would reject it. I called Newegg customer support numerous times but had to wait over 45 mins wait and had to retell my story every single time. The past 2 months was a terrible experience when I should be enjoying the holidays. The issue was finally resolved when I talked to Dwight Smith. He gave an email address so I don't have to wait on the phone and retell my story. With in few days, I got the refund for the product ang warranty while following their procedures with marketplace vendors. He did an awesome job and saved me many hours on the phone and from many more frustrations. He definitely saved the image of Newegg to a longtime customer. Thanks Dwight!!! "

"I started out ordering an intel motherboard that showed up DOA, I understand this may not be their specific fault so I call them to explain the issue and that I need a replacement ASAP. I am told the replacement will be There in 3 days, the allotted time goes by and nothing. I call again and am told it was never even sent out and that they weren't going to send it until I sent in my defective motherboard and they could inspect it basically a turn around time of 2 weeks, after I already had explained the time sensitive nature of my need for this item. So I hang up and call back to place an order for a new motherboard and am greeted by a customer service rep who seems to be high on something who takes my order and then everything seems good. Wrong, not only did they not have that item in stock they tell me I have to spend an extra $50 because despite taking my order and charging me, the only seller who has this mother board in stock is charging an extra $50 from what I have already payed. I end up just resigning to it from frustration and am told my package would be there in 2 days and the shipping tracking info reflects this, my package never shows up and I call for the 3rd time, turns outs the rep ordered for standard 7 day shipping despite my insistence I needed this product ASAP and I was given falsified tracking data. I will go out of my way to avoid using Newegg if all possible in the future, this was beyond annoying and frustrating dealing with what seemed like a decent company."
"I have been dealing with a problem since Dec 11, spoke to two supervisors since, with no follow-up, or resolution until I reached Darlene E., she took personal ownership of my (two separate orders from Ecopusa both times the wrong items were sent and returned)
Darlene issued two refunds and most importantly followed up and stayed in contact with me via email, until both issues were resolved. This was my first time ordering from Newegg and only because of Darlene, will I remain a customer. She is truly customer focused and her follow up was what it took to keep me as a customer. Congrats Darlene you are truly an assist to Newegg.

"I have used newegg for any electronic purchases for nearly 10 years and have always been happy with the sevice, up until now. The marketplace will be the downfall is this company.
I purchased a laptop before Christmas and recieved it damaged from always(dot)deals. After retruning the product I never recieved any confirmation the seller recieved it. A week went by and I finally emailed the seller to get an update on the product. They replyed with a tracking number and "good news it outs for delivery". No one was home that day and the package was left at my door (i live in an apartment building) which was not a secure location. Upon my wife getting home the package was gone, someone stole it right from my front door.
I contacted the seller and they recommended we do a FedEx claim. I decided I didn't want to deal with the seller since they seemed to be a fairly unorganized company so I called Newegg. The rep on the phone told me they would process the claim for me, but it would take 5-7 business days. At the time I was unhappy, but I understood they had a process they need to follow.
After the 7 business days I call in and I'm told the first business day doesn't count (even though I was told this day was the final day of the claim period) and that I need to wait another day. On the 8th day I am told that the seller was given some 24 hour notice and I need to wait another day. We are now on the 9th day and I'm told the seller responded and they need to file a FedEx claim (WHAT WAS I WAITING ON?!)
It has now been another two weeks (over a month total) I was informed FexEx denied the claim (which doesn't surprise me at this point) and that they don't even know if I'll get my money back.
I paid 800 dollars for a laptop I recieved broken and the replacement never even reached me aand the supervisor I am currently speaking with is telling me I may not even get my money back. This is absolutely unacceptable and I will NEVER use Newegg again. This is by far the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I have easily over 60 hours just in time on the phone trying to get this in just over a month.
I recommend if you're undecided on where to purchase and are considering Newegg to look elsewhere because this company is absolutely awful. They do not care about the consumer."
