Customer Help

"In over twenty years of doing business with Newegg this is the first time I have had to call Customer Service! Outside of a five minute wait on "ignore", it was a very pleasant experience.

I called Newegg about a back ordered item from one of the Marketplace vendors. As it turned out the item had been canceled earlier today, before my call. Darrel, the service rep, had my order info at his finger tips. The nice part about this call is that I could understand him. He sounded like a news announcer on the 6PM news. No foreign accent! It turns out he was talking to me from California!

Newegg's inventory, prices and customer service are hard to beat!

Trouble with Shipping

"I am a part time computer builder and have deadlines to meet with my clients well I needed some risers for a custom build, I had 4-7 day delivery which turned into 13-18 days(still waiting) which was upsetting and caused tension between myself and my client and then somehow Fed Ex or USPS managed to lose my package somewhere in the mail system. I did contact both USPS and Fed Ex about my package, nothing really helpful came out of the conversations. I contacted Newegg thinking they would just blame it on the mail and I would get no help. Man, I was surprised they even offered me a refund/replacement. The customer representative Drew G. (or at least that was the name in the email I received for the review) was very helpful, understanding, and kind. I have been buying from Newegg for a few years and I will continue buying from them in the future! Even though replacements will take longer it was overall a great experience."

"I purchased many things from new egg. Up until just recently I’ve never even had a issue with parts being DOA. thank god the customer support is above and beyond standard in any of the many contact methods. They are quick and prompt about what your options are and literally as far as I can say really stick to their 100% satisfaction guarantee. Which if you ask me is rare. "

"Hi,
I asked Newegg to return an item; one which I thought I was not able to return.

That said, the agent that helped me was very professional, considerate, and understanding. I was very pleased to be assisted by Skylar C!

I explained my predicament and Skylar and I messaged back & forth a few times in the Chat. I provided the requested info and I received an RMA.

I have been a Newegg customer for a long time. It is because of people like Skylar who set the example and do everything to help a customer in need. I will continue to be a customer thanks to them having The Best!

"I purchased a bad MOBO at newegg, got an RMA and received yet another defective MOBO. I tried to refund or replace, but it said that wasn't an available option. I chatted with Caroline C. at help and she was more than happy to refund it for me. Great customer service!"

Things go wrong. Newegg makes them right.

"I have been a Newegg customer for over five years now. I have built 10 complete desktops, ordered at least 6 laptops, and even built 2 GPU mining rigs, all using Newegg.com parts. I have a rice cooker, water boiler, and 3 flat screen TVs I got here as well.

I'd love to say that all the items arrived on time, and that all the parts worked right out of the box, and that no component ever failed before its MTBF. But I didn't get paid to write this review, and you couldn't pay me enough to lie to the world like that. Stuff happens.

What I can say with complete honesty is that I have been incredibly impressed with Newegg's customer service, and the willingness of their organization to empower their CS reps with the ability to make issues right. I have received refunds, replacements, and repairs multiple times, with minimal hassle. It really feels like the organization wants repeat customers, something that is increasingly rare in an industry that is highly price sensitive, and constantly undergoing waves of material obsolescence.

I highly recommend Newegg.com to anyone. I will continue to shop here, and I have even stopped price checking other sites (Newegg is cheaper 90% of the time anyway) because the piece of mind that comes from a trusted vendor is really a value add, above and beyond raw price. Time is money! Newegg.com saves me both, especially when chaos conspires to waste it.

WHAT HAPPENED TO NEWEGG?????????

"I have been buying off NewEgg for over 15 years never an issue
But now I buy a laptop and within 2 hours it breaks.

Bought an MSI gaming Laptop for my wife for Christmas NOT CHEAP!!!
Paid for guaranteed 2nd day air took 5 days to get here. So far no refund and they said they would refund it.
Worked for two (2) hours before breaking.
Called them up immediately. The same day I received it!!!!!
Sent it back immediately. As soon as they finally sent the return label. That took about 2 weeks to get!!!
It has been well over a month all I get is the run around.
They promise me don't worry no problem we will take care of it.
Well over a month later and still nothing just a song and dance and empty promises.

I have a Microcenter about 20 minutes from me so I guess from now on I will be going there.

NewEgg used to be great it is a shame that they turned into a typical big business screw the consumer company!!

Computer Dead on Arrival and no refund issued

My customer service agent (Caroline C.) was very helpful. I, however, am very disappointed in newegg, in that I'm not able to get a refund for a computer that was dead on arrival. I believe a dead computer does deserve a full refund. Very disappointed
