Extremely good service

"I decided to build a new PC for my parents, and bought all the parts online. From the beginning, it wouldn't display BIOS and powered on/off strangely. Piece by piece, I returned every part down to the MOBO. It turns out I had a bad power supply and it burnt out the other parts. Despite months passing between each part return due to me being busy around the holidays, I was able to easily contact customer service and return each part for a replacement/refund. The staff didn't give me any hassle and all that was required was that I return the item and accessories in it's original box. I was very worried I was going to lose my investment to bad parts, but the staff empathized with me and helped me out.

I have nothing but good things to say about Newegg, great selection, great website, great deals, and most importantly- amazing customer service. I'll be doing all future PC part purchasing through them.

After being loyal customers for years we get crapped on!!

"Purchased a subwoofer on a special xmas sale on December 25, 2017 and received a very damaged item on the 29th. that we were unable to inspect upon arrival due to it being left on our front porch by the Fedex person that didn't even hesitate to see if anyone was answering the door before leaving. We contacted Newegg about the damage and all went well as far as getting a replacement sent out etc...however not one person informed us that Fedex was arriving to pick it up yesterday and it was not ready to go since we were still waiting for instructions of how to return it as well as a return shipping label, well I had to wake up my husband from a dead sleep (he works nights) to have him package it all up and get it out to the waiting Fedex person, that was and is a whole other story as to what happened inside my house while a still half asleep man tries to frantically package this item back up with all the required paperwork etc, I am very angry about that since someone should have informed us of this pickup so it could be ready to go...today (Jan 6th.) we again received another very damaged item and hoping to save time and another headache we were lucky enough to barely catch the Fedex guy again to refuse the item due to the damage. We immediately called Newegg and after 40 minutes they finally returned our call and this time they want us to repurchase the item and give up their two days free shipping basically forever since they would put a block on ever using Fedex with our orders again since we obviously didn't want Fedex shipping this big heavy subwoofer again after receiving two severely damaged items in a row. Not only that, they now wanted us to pay the higher price of the item since it isn't on sale anymore, we asked to speak to a supervisor but the person who was on the other end of the line did not oblige. She eventually said we could repurchase the item for the sale price however they refused to ship it with another carrier unless we blocked Fedex from all further shipments to our house which would also take another 24 hours to complete, we have already been waiting since the 25th of December to use above said item that was originally supposed to be two days...well after all is said and done we are very unsatisfied and will never be doing any further shopping with them. They were not willing to help out in this matter whatsoever and after many many years of being Newegg fans and spending thousands of dollars with them they just don't give a rat's **** about their customer's satisfaction at all anymore and we just won't be dealing with that company again nor will anyone we have referred to them. "

Outstanding customer service

"Had a confusing sale with one of newegg's resllers where an item I purchased was supposedly cleared and given a shipping number but then was cancelled and issued an RMA the same day. Logged into the chat, waited in queue, Sebastian came online and within 10 minutes or so had cleared up my problem and assured me that all would be taken care of asap. The reseller then emailed me within an hour of my customer service chat session, apologized, and said that I'd be getting a full refund. Easy experience."
