Dishonest

"So i ordered Tuesday in the morning. They didn't ship till Friday late at night. I'll receive my package next Thursday by end of day. So it will take 8 business days.
My problem is that throughout the ordering they were advertising 3-5 business days shipping. I know that handling is a separate thing, but they didn't mention anything about handling or that there's additional time for that, etc...
Facts are:
1. They were two days late to ship it compared to what they promised in the confirmation email.
2. Newegg representative wanted my to search their terms & conditions to find that there is a handling time that is in addition to the shipping time.
3. It will take 8 business days for me to receive my item.
I haven't used newegg or monoprice since 2010, because Amazon knows what they are doing.

Based on the facts above, they are a POS retailer. Change my mind.

Great customer service

"I purchased an OLED LG TV from Newegg at a super price! FedEx delivered it to my home a few days later than promised although not NE fault. The picture was beautiful, the sound quality was the best I’ve ever heard from a TV. I was very happy with my choice, at first. However, after watching it for about 2 hours, it powered off on its own and would not turn back on. After about an hour, it started working again. I was skeptical but hoped the problem was just a fluke - a power surge or dip or something like that. Well it kept happening and when I called NE to have it replaced, they could not have been more helpful in facilitating my replacement. The new unit arrived a couple of days ago and so far, so good. The new TV seems to be working fine. I would have preferred to purchase it from the popular national brick and mortar chain with an alliterative name, hint hint, that claims they price match “any” price, BUT THEY DO NOT, just for this type of situation, but like I just stated, THEY WOULD NOT MATCH THIS PRICE! Hats off to the Newegg team, they get top marks from me!"

If you ever need help from Customer Service DO NOT go to live chat

"I needed to make a return for a defective desktop pc, and I had a very unpleasant time trying to get help from their live chat staff. In the end, they couldn't help me in a satisfactory way, so I made a call and spoke to Amanda.B.Munoz for assistance, and she did what I asked the staff in live chat to do for 4 days in a matter of minutes, all while being courteous and accommodating. I lost all faith in Newegg when their live chat failed me, but Amanda's exceptional service brought back a glint of hope in me to give Newegg another try. If anyone has issues with their order or products DO NOT try to resolve it with live chat, just give them a call and ask for Amanda!"

Customer Service is awesome!

"I called in concerned about a gift card purchase that was still in processing, but I wanted to use it toward a purchase that had a promo code that expired on Sunday. Tammy in Customer Service worked hard to make sure that even if my gift card didn't finish processing before the promo code expired that I would still get the discount it offered.
