"Difficult to keep this short but I will try...MSI offers a rebate on some products which requires you send in the UPC (of course they do NOT tell you this) Warranty registration for any repair ALSO requires that you send in the UPC (again, this is not known to the customer)
So any way you cut it, the customer is either losing the mail in rebate, or losing the ability to have tha laptop repaired after like 30 days....blah blah blah...the solution (work around really, as you still lose Warranty time) is to wait as long as possible to send in the mail in rebate. Now here is the thing, understand they were trying to HELP ME from losing my mail in or warranty time...I purchased on 11.28...thus they advised me to wait until the very end of Dec so that they get the mail in rebate for Dec31st and that would at least give an extra month on the warranty...etc etc...I attempted to do my mail in rebate today, and found that they only accept proof pr purchase from 15 or 20 days....and of course, this is almost fine print! So here I was losing my 80$ rebate, when I followed the instruction that NewEgg gave me...in the end, the took full responsibility for the issue and credited my NewEgg account with an 80$ gift card!!!!! Seriously, that was awesome!! its just soooo damn shocking when a company "Gets it right!". Nice job...especially Marcilino and Will. Happy Holidays!!"
"Mr. Mario.A.Lopez-Mendez was extremely personable. Mario was engaged and calmed down a situation that was essentially poor customer service from Best4less. He was able to speak to me in a manor where he built a strong rapport with me and made me feel like a valued customer once again. This gentleman has awesome customer service skills. I am in customer service and can certainly relate to upset customers. Mario had the ability turn around someone who is upset and make them feel appreciated. Management might want to consider using his techniques to train others in how exactly to build a relationship over the phone with customers who otherwise might not shop with Newegg ever again. "I purchased a refurbished item during a holiday sale in 2018, as well as a year extended warranty. The free shipping estimate was 5 business days from the Saturday in which I ordered, but I received it three days sooner, on the following Tuesday.
I was unable to test the item until that Friday. At that time, I discovered some accessories missing from what was supposed to be included, as well as some issues with the item itself.
I called Newegg the following day, another Saturday, they recorded each and every issue I noticed, and Immediately provided me with the free means with which to return the item for RMA inspection.
Due to the large size of the item, it took me a few days to coordinate assistance, and that following Friday it was on its way.
I received notification that they received the item, that they verified my issues, that they were unable to issue a replacement and that they would, instead, have to issue a refund (which I can't hold against them; the item was a Steal for the price).
I received an invoice for the return, which did not include the price of my optional warranty coverage.
An exceptionally brief phone call with a knowledgeable employee and the entire situation has been perfectly addressed to the penny.
In summary, though my decision to try my luck at the refurb lottery wasn't a winning choice, my every interaction with Newegg was hassle-free and pleasant. I can't wait to find another amazing deal through their service, and expect next time to be just as smooth."

"Ordered some parts as a present for the holidays and something happened and they didn't get shipped. It was unclear whether it was an oversight by Newegg or FedEx.
When I called to resolve the issue, I was treated incredibly respectfully, and they responded positively to each issue I had. They created a new order with new items, gave me complementary rush shipping, matched the prices I got on the original order (at least one item had gotten more expensive), and even offered to refund the cost of the mail-in-rebate that expired in the time between the original order and replacement order.
All with no hassle and no attitude, despite the fact that it sounded like my issue and the resolution created a bit of a headache for the rep I spoke to.

"I ordered two refurbished monitors on an exceptional NewEgg sale. Both arrived quickly; but one was severely damaged during shipping. I went to use the website first to return or refund, but the website stated refurbished wasn't returnable or refundable.
