"My name is Spencer D. and you (Newegg) found yourselves one bad sale away from losing me. I have purchased over $20,000 of merchandise from Newegg throughout 2018. I understand that quality control mistakes happen. The same is true for any other competitor. The issue I have had in the past is how you deal with those mistakes. After reaching out for assistance, close to a dozen times, via phone, chat, and even your text system (for various product issues); I have been sorely disappointed with the incompetence, willingness to help resolve issues, and most importantly attitude and care displayed by the customer service rep. Today, that all changed. After waiting in the Queue for 15 minutes (one of the shortest I've experienced yet) I was greeted by a friendly, kind, patient, and extremely competent individually named, Crystal. A few hours ago the most helpful customer service reps have typically been advisers, specialists, managers, etc. But Crystal at newegg has blown them all out of the water, through land and air to some place I had not yet visited. Not once in my life have I found myself wanting to stay on the phone after my issue was resolved, which, let me tell you- She did resolve my situation, helping me with a genuinely complicated return disaster that my disdain, scorn and frustration towards the issue has absolutely melted away. Of course I will continue giving my business to newegg and not because of the prices, variety, or quality of products. No, those products can be found elsewhere 90% of the time, occasionally at better prices, but rather for the sole reason being not an "if" I have an issue but rather, when, an issue arises and I pick up the horn, wait in that 15min-1hour+ Queue to finally reach a rep I will gladly wait another hour just to have them transfer my call to Crystal so I can receive the quality of assistance that customer service aims to be within any B2C company. If I wasn't planning on doing so much business with newegg in 2019, I would hire her in a heartbeat to work for one of my small businesses because she is the hidden gem in your company. I don't know if anyone at newegg will take the time to read this but your entire branch of customer service should be taking notes from her. I called at the end of the business day, she clearly wasnt feeling 100% as I could hear a glimpse of congestion and coughing that normally a customer would never pick up on because she did a great job of concealing whatever bug she picked up that's floating around this winter, but even despite these factors that would affect any lesser of a person, she continued to excel in what I can't help but write as anything less than absolutely brilliant service. She corrected the mistakes of her coworkers in previous documenting of the situation without a whisper of contempt for their shoddy work. She took extra care in detailing the complex situation that we faced together, even leading me to feel like we were a team righting injustice caused by both man and the machines they made. By now you're probably thinking, who the hell is this Spencer D. and why is he writing this? Well throughout hundreds if not thousands of online purchases I have left two reviews, both of which were when I received exceptionally poor service for companies who just needed a Crystal on their team and this is my chance as an entrepreneur to give back by letting you know you have something special. "
"I've ordered refubishef PCs from Newegg before, and they were great! No problems and amazingly clean. Later I saw an ad for others, but didn't have the link and just couldn't find it when I was searching the site.
But no problems - I called up and they found the PC for me, and so I got 2 of the great values for my lab.
Not to sound like a commercial, but they had Free standard shipping too, so no surprise bump in price at the end. Just a great price.

"Leroy just saved my nephew's Christmas. My brother and I are building a gaming computer for my nephew. I ordered the part on 11/27/2018 and it was reported as having arrived on 12/08/2018.
My brother (who lives one state over) stated he did not find the package anywhere (he checked with his neighbors in a two block radius).I called NewEgg and because of the high call volume opted for the "Hold Your Place" where they call you back so you don't have to wait with hold music blaring in your ear.
Leroy called me back and much explanation, he made it right!
We started the refund process on the original and reordered the part with signature service to make sure it gets into my brother's hand before Christmas.
