Everything was resolved in under 10 minutes, the order was placed and confirmation email received. Now I wait for my delivery to arrive. I've been a new egg shopper and customer for years now. "I placed an order on April 2nd. First they split the order into 3 separate shipments, 1 of which arrived over a week after the others. When I opened that final box, none of the parts I was expecting were inside, instead it was a bunch of unrelated items.
After a call to customer service, I was told that they would have to open a claim to have them fix their mistake.
Well, it's now been 2 weeks and I still haven't heard back on their decision to fix the mistake yet.
Will never deal with this company again."

After reading my story, James from Newegg contacted me and cared for my input. We found an agreable solution. I am back on board with Newegg but I will be very careful about the marketplace as it adds another seller, usually chinese . In my case not the best.
Original story:
I Have been a longtime customer but Marketplace ruined it for me this time have been ordering from newegg for 17 years. In the US then Canada. My loyalty will end here for a small problem that shows the greedy nature of the beast.
I bought a CADEN L5 camera backpack on Newegg marketplace from: YLK Tech LTD
They sent me a similar but different brand backpack with very chinese markings on it.
Specs are not as advertised either.
When messaged they told me "it is the new model"... come on be honest!
I hate it when greed destroys honesty.
I filed a claim at newegg
They said it is "resolved" because I can return it.... No care given
Returning it to china is a hassle. The box came in destroyed, time is of the essence and it is getting wasted.
An honest explanation would have gone a long way along with some compensation but apparently I am not important enough.
I guess I am just a drop in the ocean but I will not help Newegg anymore
