"I recently ordered two large plasma TV's from Onecall. I had to call in to customer service for them to "complete my order". When I did they discribed the shipping process to me and stated that they would complete my order. After two weeks of no commubication I emailed there support and was informed that the order was not placed, and they would discount the shipping and get the order out.
When recieved one of the TV's has been great, the other has been a horrible experience, due to a feature of the TV that was not listed on there website. Onecall refused to change the item out.
If you are going to order small inexpensive items I wouldn't worry, however I would not order anything of a large expense unless you can afford to loss the money."
"After much research I chose to purchase Sony KDS55A2000 from OneCall.com. ON 9/1/06. It was
delivered, set up and running on 9/7/06. That is faster deliverey than from across town in most cases. [remember that Labor Day was in that time frame too]. I would believe that most people would be happy with their choice of venders. By the way, I emailed SONY and was advised that OneCall.com was a registered SONY dealer so that full warranty is included."
"Do no purchase large electronics from this store. They ship their items in a larger "protective" box slightly bigger than the manufacturer's. Our 37" flat TV arrived upside with all internal styrofoam protective blocks smashed. Without making the effort to write "This side up" and "Fragile" on the package you are taking a huge risk for high $$$items. Also, our TV arrived with a genuine manufacturer's defect - one of the standard VESA mounting holes was 2mm off - so the expensive wall mount we purchased wouldn't work. Of course, their is no return alternative for these things."
"After calling two other online retailers and experiencing a lot of headaches and just getting a general feeling like I could not trust them, I decided to give OneCall.com a try. I am very glad I did.
My salesmen was very courteous, professional and knowledgeabe, and he didn't try to sell me on anything I didn't want. My order of two DLP's arrived on time and in perfect condition. I would highly recommend this company, and I definitely plan to use them again in the future."
"Placed an order for a Nikon D50 and SB-600 with OneCall through Amazon. Everything was exactly as promised. Shipping was 3-day FedEx for only $8.90. I will absolutely purchase from this vendor again."
"A great reseller! Bought a Sharp LCD TV, and had nothing but wonderful service. Will definitely use and refer to them in the future."

I dealt with the following customer service representatives in the order of contact: 1. Greg, 2. Lee, 3. Rob.
Initially, my experience was steler. I was working with Greg who seemed to go out of his way to provide the best service very much like my prior purchase. The guy followed up with me and called me as agreed the following day to confirm ability to overnight a purchase. So far, Oncecall was on track as before in providing superior survice. This call changed when dealing with Lee and Rob. Rob was the absolute worst. Not only did I notice this but also my banking representative noticed this when conducting a three way call to verify validity of finances. It was clear that Rob was unhappy having to deal with what was a complicated purchase. The complication was having the product shipped to me some place other than my home address. The reason for this, I was away on business in Maui, HI for a photo shoot. His heavy breathing, sighs, being placed on multiple holds, and treatment of my banking representative was nothing short of rude.
In fact, after the call finally completed and all calls were terminated, my banking official contacted me to make sure everything went smoothly and to discus customer satisfaction. The representative pointed out that Rob was certainly not in a happy place and apologized on his behalf. Shortly thereafter, Rob contacted me as agreed to advise me the transaction was complete and that the order was on schedule. Here he expressed himself in a more annoyed state.
At this time, I would have to rate Onecall customer service as POOR. In the future, I will request to complete all transactions with Greg. Otherwise, I will not shop with this firm in the future. I did not shop with them for the best price. Rather, I had shopped with them based on my prior satisfied customer service experience.
On a positive note: I received the item on time and in perferct order. I can receive like shipments such as this from B&H and other reputable firms. Onecall needs to have consistent quality customer service.

Item Price: $919.99.
Product: 12-24mm f4G ED-IF AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor
I contacted Onecall the late afternoon of Friday July 28th 2006. I received my purchase on Tuesday August 1st. A day earlier than promissed. My experience with Onecall is superior. The customer service experience is a "10". I really liked the guy who helped me. He was helpful and really nice. I felt like I like the company. What was really nice was the fact that he gave me some background on the company. I liked that. The product came beautifully packaged. The item is exactly what I purchased and came to me in brand new perfect condition. I am a very happy customer.

"This company is a true pleasure to deal with. I purchased a Samsung 56" DLP TV and the experience could not have been more positive. They gave explicit instructions on what to do when receiving the TV to inspect for damage and report it. However it arrived in perfect shape. I will purchase from Onecall again and highly recommend them to my friends."
"Wonderful shopping experience. Would purchase from again. Loved the follow-up call after the t.v. arrived to make sure everything was fine. Competitive pricing. Fast delivery. Highly recommend. "
"Bought a Sony DSC-R1 from OneCall.com. Best price around, no pressure to buy additional accessories, noticed that the filter I ordered was not recommended for the lens, very curteous. Camera arrived one day before expected. Thank you! I will buy again from you!"
"After doing considerable research into plasma TVs and online venders I decided to order from Onecall.com because their rating was awesome and I live 3 hours away from their retail store. My brother-in-law also bought a projection screen TV from them and had an excellent experience. I looked around on the net the day I was purchasing and found the best price, at that time, at CircuitCity.com. I knew Onecall would match it so I called them up and, sure enough, they matched it. This was on Sunday, and I arranged to pick the TV up on the following Saturday. In the meantime I kept my eyes peeled for a lower price, because Onecalls policy states:
“OneCall will match the delivered price for identical, in-stock products with like delivery service from the list of competitors below. Additionally, we will price protect your purchase 7 days from your purchase date. If either OneCall’s price or a competitor’s price from the list below reduces, we will credit you the difference.”
On Friday, the day before pick up, I noticed that Circuit City was having a 5 hour sale from 11am to 4 pm, and my TV was on that list! I thought “great” I’ll give Onecall a ring and they’ll have to match it. After having to “walk” Chris (a OneCall employee) through Circuit City’s website checkout procedures to prove that it was actually that much cheaper, he put me on hold for about 4 minutes. When he came back on the line he stated that they couldn’t match the price because he called Circuit City and they said that the TV wasn’t in stock. “Well, that’s kinda funny”, I said. “Online it says that the valley store has it. Did you call both stores?” I inquired. Chris returns with “Yep, I called them both and since they won’t have the TV in stock through the duration of the sale, we can’t price match it for you”. “Well, it seems strange that they would tell me to pick it up at the valley store if they didn’t have it in stock”. “I don’t know what to tell you, sir”. Chris states. For the next couple minutes I tried to get them to offset their higher price by “throwing in” a couple cables for the TV. “Sir, we can’t just give away accessories.” I come back with, “You’re not giving them away you’re offsetting your higher price”. All he could say was he was sorry, that’s their policy, and there was nothing he could do. I said “160 dollars might not be much to you, but that will pay for my gas over there, my lunch, and my dinner!” By this time I was very agitated and I asked him if it would be a problem if I canceled my order. He said no since I hadn’t picked up the TV yet. I asked him if he cared about losing a $1600 sale. He said “We don’t want to loose your sale, but we can’t give our accessories away”. So, I told him I was going to investigate this further and call him back.
I called Circuit City in the valley and they said they had TWO (2) of the TVs that I was looking for. I was really P*SSED off by this time. I immediately called OneCall back and asked to speak to a manager. Mike comes on, whether or not he was a manager, and I tell him that I just talked to Chris about a TV price match and he strait out LIED to me about Circuit City not having it in stock. Mike say’s he was standing right next to Chris when he called, so he knows he called them. I then told him I asked Chris specifically if he called the valley store and he said “Yep, I called them both”. Mike says “Well sir, let me give the valley store a call and I’ll call you back to let you know what I find out”. After about 5 minutes he calls me back and tells me that they WILL NOT be able to match Circuit City’s price and I should buy there if I’m looking for a better price. I couldn’t believe that was it. That was all they were going to do. He wasn’t even going to address the fact that Chris strait out LIED to me. So I told him to cancel my order. He took my info and said thank you.
I am absolutely disgusted with OneCall and Huppins. I will never buy from them and I will steer everyone I know away from them. Chris is a LIER and hopefully they’re also not thieves and will credit back my card. I hope $160 was worth losing a lifetime customer.
Update 7-24-06: This proves just how stupid these morons are. I just checked their website and they lowered the price of my TV to $1399. So, they lost a lifelong customer for $20. You guys get the idiot of the year award. "
"On June 19, I spoke with customer service regarding availability of a Nikon digital camera. While they were currently out of stock, I was told that it was a common item and that they usually get delivery every 2-4 weeks.
On July 10, I asked for a status. I was told that the item was still not available and that they had no idea when it would be available. The CS representative told me that he would ask the buyer to contact Nikon for an update and then would contact me.
On July 11, I checked again and was told that there was no contact from Nikon.
Only July 14, I called and was told that there was still no response from Nikon. When I asked how long I would have to wait, I was not given any answer. As a result, I cancelled the order.
I would not recommend that anyone purchase anything from onecall.com unless it was clearly stated that the item was in stock. Otherwise, you may find yourself waiting indefinitely with no support from Onecall."
"I ordered a Samsung HL-S5087W from OneCall and recieved the TV yesterday. I spent a few weeks trying to decide who to order my TV from, and honestly I was not going to order from OneCall because their price was a little higher than another place. I went online and did an online chat with one of their Customer Service Reps, and asked him if they would price match the other site, and he did. I called him up and 5 minutes later I had ordered my TV. He did not try to sell me extra warranties. He asked once, I politely declined and we moved on. The order shipped 2 hours later! I had read lots of other reviews of other sites and always questioned who was a legit customer or not. I can say I am and will recommend OneCall to anyone else who's interested in a large purchase. The TV is excellent and the response from OneCall has been excellent as well. The rep I dealt with was Michael, and he helped me out a lot. Thanks!"
"Bought 2 digital cameras from them, the last being a Canon Rebel xt. Convenient website, wide beadth of stock, excellent prices, US warranty, very quick and reasonable shipping. A pleasure to buy from. It would be great if all vendors operated in this manner."
"I ordered a Sony HDR-HC3 high-def video camcorder from Onecall. They had an excellent price, and I had heard good things about their service. I was not disappointed. Camcorder arrived a day earlier than projected. The extra battery that I ordered was not compatible with the camcorder, so they gave me full credit and even paid for return shipping. This is a great company, and I plan on ordering another camera from them soon."
