"I am really happy with this place, they stuck to their word and were friendly people. I even messed up my account while signing up, and ended up giving them a call. They picked up right away! I recieved my camera on time which I'm so thankful for. (The packaging was well done and the Camera works) This company's return policy isn't even that bad compare to some other Well Known sellers, 10% isn't to high of a restocking fee. So I'm not going to worry about returns with them, which makes me feel more confident in doing business with them again."

"My first purchase with Onecall was a very pleasant experience. The price was competitive, I was never pressured to buy something I didn't need, and the item was shipped immediately.

However ...

The lens I received will not focus correctly and is clearly not performing as designed. I might reluctantly accept this performance from a $200 model but certainly not from an $1100 prime. When I inquired about an exchange for another lens of the same model, the rep said I would be charged a 10-15% restocking fee, because in their view, the product is not defective. Again, I had requested an exchange, not a refund. So I guess I'll be without my new lens for a month or so while Canon (hopefully) repairs it.

Shopping with Onecall would probably be okay for a tripod, camera bag etc, but think twice before buying a product where its "defectiveness" can be even remotely subjective.

"I was very satisified with the ordering and shipping of this company. Unfortunately, I was extremely dissatisfied with their return policy. I bought a camcorder for a Christmas present. The camera is unused, but obviously the receiver of the gift was interested in looking at the camera. Since I opened the box, which could be returned completely intact, the company wanted to charge me a 15% ($90) restocking fee. The person I spoke to regarding this was completely unreasonable. No one would have even known that I opened it and looked at it if I hadn't been honest and told the person at onecall! Moral: don't be honest if making a return!"

"First time buyer of large ticket items over the net. Wow! No automated phone system! They answer within a couple of rings! I order 2 large and 2 small items on 12/21 and just recieved the 2 small items on 12/24! They were packed very well and in good condition. I am very please with this order so far. Now if I can just not go crazy waiting for my HLP5085W and matching rack! I save about $1200 on my $4100 order by not having to pay tax and minimal shipping on the small items! Good things, good things!"

"As the name states, one quick phone call was all it took to order a digicam and a case. Another quick call the next morning removed the case (because I found a useable case at home). "Pricing of the camera I bought was good, so I ordered and requested US Postal shipping - the parcel companies don't like driving on my road. The shipping notice said "shipped FedEx", so I called. And got a person to talk with. Who fixed it. It was pretty strange to talk to an actual person on the phone and even better to get one who could and would do something.

Update 01/13/04. I bought a printer from Onecall on the strength of their earlier good performance, and got it quickly, without any trouble at all. I'm going to stick with these folks.
