"I feel like another one of the “one kings fools” – BUYER BEWARE!!!
I placed an order in February. Only received a partial order, 2 of 5 items. 10 weeks later I’m still waiting for the other 3 framed art reprints. There was nothing complicated about this order, just 5 framed art reprints. I repeatedly reach out to customer service who can provide no information on the 3 missing items or indication of when they may ship. After 10 weeks of trying to be patient, I’ve given up and need to cancel my order for the 3 items that have never shipped. I am now being told they will NOT fully refund me for the cost of the items never shipped. That I now have to pay a 15% restock fee and shipping cost that they say total over $75.00! A restock fee and shipping for items they NEVER TOOK OUT OF STOCK OR SHIPPED!!! SERIOUSLY!!! I can see saying that for something I HAVE RECEIVED & now want to return, but NOT for something that after 10 weeks they can’t give any reason or indication of when unprovided items might be shipped. Most people would call this RUNNING A SCAM!!!
They offer products that they do not physically possess. Customer service is outsourced to non-english speaking reps who are clearly quoting from a pre-written script of vague lines and provide no details at all. I sincerely wish I'd read the reviews before ordering. Learned the hard way, but will now be pursuing a fraud charge through my bank as others have had to do. Will not be doing business with OKL again!!!

"Hour long wait times on hold, generic, preprinted responses to inquires that don't even address the question, multiple weekly holds (pending charges) without removing previous pending charges for the SAME items. My credit card now has over $18,000 on pending charges for a $3650 order that isn't even due to be shipped for another month. This company is effectively holding my entire credit limit hostage, preventing me from using the card. Oh, and you cannot cancel. Weekly responses are always "We will look into this...........""
"Ordered a 2 piece sectional on 11/26/18. Was scheduled for delivery on 1/18/19, but one of two pieces was missing and piece that was delivered had a large stain. This is with OKL’s “white glove delivery” that they have the nerve to charge $199 for. OKL’s delivery company (Lodeso/Watkins-Stockton...not sure which as both names are listed on the delivery paperwork) has been completely worthless. Had to call four times before they confirmed they never received the second piece from OKL. Multiple times they failed to call back with an update despite explicitly promising to do so.
Have called OKL support twice and emailed twice and still have no resolution. For the two calls I was on hold for 40min (eventually hung up & tried again) and nearly 30 more min before a support rep answered he call. Both emails took a full week before I received a reply. The response I did receive was a canned “we value your business...” email with no detail or follow up re my order. They clearly do not staff their support lines.
OKL has been totally unable/unwilling to resolve something that’s clearly their issue. At this point i’m pursuing options thru my credit card company or possibly small claims court to get a full refund. Frankly, based on my experience and the many similar scathing reviews i’ve seen, OKL seems to be inept at best or fraudulent at worst. I will never place another order with them and will actively share my experience with others so they don’t make a similar mistake."
"I purchased two expensive lamps to go with the total remake of our family room. They pictured brown and green and what I received was brown and gray. I thought Mario in customer service, while not rude, was curt. They did offer a return but that would have left the room without lighting. Wouldn't it be nice if they pictured what you were really going to receive?..."
"I placed an order of over $2600. Two of th end tables were sent from a third party, which is HUGE part of the problem! THERE ARE ZERO QUALITY CHECKS DONE ON ANYTHING ! Whatever goes wrong at delivery to the customer resides on the customers shoulders. I am old and sick and have had numerous health issues and all my family gone. I am alone. And have no one, i wanted to have a little xmas for myself and ordered a few things. Let me tell you. The two end tables were for my bedroom. And were made of entirely of glass. Neither of the drawers will open! One of them arrived in a hundred pieces of broken glasss and they have left me to try and dispose of it! REALLY?? JAN FISHER ONE OF THE SUPERVISORS MADE THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE ABSOLTELY UNBEARABLE.
SHE KEPT DEMANDING PHOTOS AND WOULD DO NOTHING WITHOUT THEM. IT WAS A NIGHTMARE FOR ME TO TRY AND GET THEM TO HER. ONE SHE GOT ANOTHER SHE DID NOT.
They wont take any responsibility for anything. Nothing without photos. They put everything on you!!
Then i sent them additional info to not send two pieces of art and they sent them out anyway then wanted to try and charge me a restock fee. !! A lamp also defective. Hairline cracks in the base. Ridiculous. I sent photos of this as well. The end table not in a million broken glass pieces. The drawer knob pull wont pull the drawer out at allland is semi detached from the drawer. Screw exposed. I would advise NEVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. EVER!
I HAVE SENT A CHARGEBACK THRU MY AMERICAN EXPRESS FOR THE LAMP THEY HAVE CHARGED.
THEY STILL WONT CREDIT MY CREDIT CARD FOR ANYTHING!

"I ordered a Nest jasper necklace. For some reason the necklace measures 14 inches. This was marked on the site but I did not realize exactly how small that is. There are no pictures showing it on a person or saying it is a choker. It is so small it is too tight even for a choker! It could fit a child! I do not have an unusually large neck. I looked online to see how to do a return and the website says they charge re-stocking fees!!! 35%! Who does that??!! I emailed customer service on their site, it said I would receive a response within 48 hours -that was seven days ago and still haven't heard from them, called today had trouble getting through kept getting hung up on, then "Mario" said he would see what he could do and call me back, he never did. Then I got an email saying if I wanted store credit I could get my money back but if the original form of payment was credited I would lose 35% restocking fee and pay return shipping. Did I mention they charged me $16.95 to ship the necklace??? They do not include return labels in the order so you have to request a shipping label -another delay of days. I included a note saying I definitely wanted a gift card/store credit so I would get all my money back. They refused to honor that and refunded my credit card deducting the restocking fee, against my expressed wishes. For a $163.29 necklace I only was refunded $123.84. I asked them to honor my request, they said no too bad. They have been one of the worst online shopping experiences I have ever had. I will never order from them again!! BEWARE!!!!!! "
"Took three weeks and 5 emails on a damaged item return and no response. I had to go to Amex. for help. When I got through to OneKingsLane on the phone they told me that many customers had to wait a month for a response. Find items elsewhere! "
"This company is a nightmare avoid at all costs! They told me they'd give me the correct price on a couch I ordered, correct price was $692. However they continued to charge my card $1538 for the entire month of July. This charge would appear then disappear leaving my account with this huge hit of $1538 at random times.
Thankfully my bank has been awesome with helping me resolve this matter. But not having access to your money is a devastating experience especially when it's randomly taken out several times a month.
I've since placed a stop payment with this merchant so I can stop reliving this nightmare. The customer service is a joke and could not/would not help at all. It's like they contract remote employees who just pick up their cell phone and pretend to assist you.
I hate this company and I've done business with thousands. This is the only company I can say I truly hate. I hope they are shut down!"
"So disappointed. I ordered 4 beautiful dining room chairs which were shipped quickly. However, one of the chairs was missing some hardware to attach the seat, thus making it unusable. I contacted One Kings Lane immediately to report this and they said they would get with the vendor to get the needed part sent to me. I had explained that I had even tried to find the missing parts at Home Depot, Lowes and other places and was told they were custom parts and only the manufacturer could send me the replacement part. Finally after another week or so, One Kings Lane sent me an email with a tracking # saying the parts had been shipped. Yet for another couple of weeks, the tracking # showed the item had never been picked up by UPS..So again I called and while they apologized and said they would get with the vendor again and let me know when another attempt at shipping would take place. This last correspondence was over a week ago and still not a word back. I have now asked for a partial refund for the one defective chair or to have their vendor send me a chair with all the hardware. While i love the chairs, I will never deal with One Kings Lane again due to their lack of follow-up for my purchase. "

"So I ordered 2 outdoor rugs for my front and back porch - same rug. They both came and they were the wrong color version that I ordered. They told me to return them for full refund, order the rug again and I would get the correct version. I did and it was the wrong rug again. Ordered the same rug 3 times to get the wrong rug 3 times. They will not get with their 3rd party vendor to fix the problem - they are shipping out the wrong rugs, offering you 15% to keep it, and then hoping you want it. IT IS TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! They honestly do not care about me AT ALL. "
"Do not conduct business with One Kings Lane! Do not purchase any of their products! I have purchased a few items from them within the past few years. They just lost a customer though. I had ordered a faux hanging plant, what I received in the mail was a bistro table instead. Yep, they screwed up my order and sent me the wrong item. #2 I also ordered a polish stoneware large serving bowl. When I opened up the box, it was completely shattered! Getting a refund from these people is next to impossible. They wanted me to send them photos of the shattered bowl, and the vender may or may not decide to issue a refund. I am appalled with this company. They won't be in business for long. Bad karma!"
"I am not a customer of One Kings Lane and have never purchased from them. All of a sudden they are bombarding me with spam, a couple a day."
"After ordering a rug from OKL and waiting as the delivery date came and went, I spent the subsequent 6 weeks following up to absolutely no avail. Though OKL answered their phones and were cordial to speak with, they had zero control over the merchants intent to ship the product, saying that their only 'protocol' was to 'email' the manufacturer once every three days and hope for the best. They could not call, email more frequently, or extend the process any further than that. Not only that but until I insisted on it, they were not following up with me either on the status. I had to follow up with them, for a total of 6 weeks without any progress at all other then...there was nothing that they could/would do. They did once say, the manufacturer responded and promised a ship date of two weeks (for the second time). This never happened. At the end of week 6 long weeks of me continuing to follow up, OKL sent m a simple email saying they were just going to cancel my order all together. At 9 months pregnant, and this being a rug for the infants room...I was perturbed. I can't physically carry a rug at this point and ordering another online was not on my agenda. Of course I complained. They were again cordial, offering a discount on my next purchase plus free shipping. I had no other recourse and accepted. I decided to purchase a bracelet, what looked to be a beautiful emerald green and gold cuff (a treat). I was actually pretty excited to receive it. It arrived yesterday and to my disappointment but not surprise, the cuff looks like an incredibly cheap and dull version of what was depicted on their site. It's awful (dare I say junk), nowhere near the value, quality, or attractiveness they claimed it was worth. The 'emerald green colour' was more of a pasty white with a tinge of green' and it's not returnable (I can see why). What a shame. I will never order from this company again. Never. It was a complete waste of money, time and energy. "
