"I placed a decent sized order on 12/26 and one or two items had a small lead time everything shipped except a Griffin Charging handle which stated 9-18days lead time. After 3+ weeks I asked for a update and found now the handles are list as unknown ETA! I called Griffin and was told 6-8 more weeks so a Optics planet rep suggested I subsitute the handle for another which I said was fine and gave them the new handle info. After doing so they then tell me I cant do that I have to cancel the remainder of the order and re-order the new charging handle contrary to what the first rep told me.
To top thing off Optics Planet takes about 5 days to respond to emails yes that is correct 5 days! I bought the main order with a promo code which I would also lose and have to pay a new shipping charge!
They basically sell things on their site they don't have even though I was not charged for the handle I have been waiting in limbo for 5 weeks.
I would recommend staying clear of Optics Planet because if you have any issues after the sale you are on your own as their Customer serve is non-existent I will never shop with them again regardless of the price! "

"There is a large assortment of items on website to fit any budget, which is great. Customer service was easy to work with when I received a defective item and sent it back for exchange. On those things I would give a 5star rating. However the turnaround time for the replacement item to be sent was slower than expected, which would get 4 stars from me. The 3star might have just been a fluke I encountered... But of the two times I have ordered from them in past few months, at least 1 item I ordered was on backorder, and I did not find out until after the order and payment was processed. On both occasions I would have ordered something different had I known, then we wouldn’t have to wait a month to get item (Nov 26 order, shipped Dec 27th is first order, 2nd incident just happened so not sure how long it will take to ship). I wish website would take item off if it is on backorder, or at lease put disclaimer 1 left so I know not to order it unless I don’t mind the wait.
I will still shop here because of the wonderful selections offered, but am skeptical of item availability because of this."
