They sent new order confirmation after a couple of days and in small print to the side was a delivery time of 4-6 months and it said no money would be taken from credit card until it was shipped. I checked my card and the money has been taken out. You would think that when something is back ordered it would be more emphasized. I have canceled the order and still money hasn't been returned. They don't seemed very concerned about doing anything about it. "

"I ordered 2 items from this company before Christmas. One came quickly but it was unfortunately not the one I had needed for a Christmas present. After a week, I called to see what had happened to my other product. The phone rep said I should have received an email about it being backordered but I did not. The packing slip didn't mention it either. I was assured an email would be sent when it was enroute. It arrived more than a month after ordering with no notice that it had been sent. Had I gotten a backorder notice I would have bought a replacement instead of waiting a month for it."

"Though it free shipping but it wasn’t. After paying for shipping I had to click on the OpticsPlanet home page on the free shipping we pay your shipping. Found out after doing that I had to spend 49$ or more. Not clear at all. After contacting there service department they did ok by getting me some of my shipping money back. After all that my package took 18 days to arrive at my house. Over all it was a terrible transaction with OpticsPlanet. Only thing that was good was the gun part they sent me. "

"Some of the best prices on the internet. Shopping has always been easy and checkout quick. Discounts and promo codes are always frequent and useful. Customer service has always been helpful and friendly. My only current suggestion would be to incorporate a feature into the checkout process that can verify military/law enforcement/etc. for discounts as some other shopping sites have done...rather than having to call for each purchase to receive the discount. Perhaps save that information to a users account (if they've created one) and retain the verification there for future purchases.
