"Wow, for a company that is call overnightprint they took one whole week just to print my business cards and another week to shipped it via ground. I order the business cards on the 28th of July and didn't receive it until August 12th. When I received the cards it came in a mailing envelope with all my business cards stuff in it. I open up the envelope and my business cards came falling out freely. Some were bent. Very crappy service!!!!"

"Overnight Prints is an atrocious company that I would never deal with again.

I ordered 2 sets of business cards from Overnight Prints on May 5, 2010. The cards came with extremely visible banding defects. After various tries of reprinting and new orders via store credit, Overnight Prints still refuses to issue a refund. It is now August 12 (3 months later), and Overnight Prints is unable to satisfactorily resolve a problem with a single order.

"I have to say that I'm surprised by the reviews that I've read here. I've been ordering from Overnight Prints for about two years and have never had a major problem with the quality, turnaround or customer service.

Any slight problem I've ever had with printing has been quickly and efficiently handled by their customer service staff. I've always been treated in a very professional manner and made to feel that my business is valued by their company.

My first experience with them was on a rush job for postcards. I found out on a Wednesday at 3PM that we needed postcards for a conference early the following week. I uploaded my design at about 5PM that day and on Friday by Noon, 3,000 postcards were delivered by UPS ... perfectly printed.

In a recent order for envelopes with a bleed (which is a very expensive thing to get done in my local market ... about $600 for 1,000 of them) I had one box where the fold on the bottom of the envelope made the bleed on the edge thinner than it was supposed to be. I called them, they answered quickly, didn't put me on hold, emailed me a return UPS sticker immediately and I shipped the box back to them, at no cost to me. In a little more than a week, I received a reprinted box that were perfectly folded.

On my most recent order of greeting cards, I found that there was a shortage on quantity. I contacted them about one card because the shortage was over 250 but I mentioned to them that there was another card that I was short on, but only short about 60. I told them not to worry about that one because I had enough of those to do what I needed to do. My concern was with the larger shortage. They put that one back into production and gave me a credit on my account for the other shortage which I didn't even ask for.

As a graphic designer, I know that things can go wrong sometimes. I've not had any issues when I've had problems as they've been handled much to my satisfaction. I would recommend them to anyone and have!

"It took a long time using the free shipping to get my business cards, but they looked GREAT when they arrived. The card stock was solid and I got many compliments when handing them out. Many comrades asked me where I got my business cards. The price was also great! 50 cards for less than $9.50 including shipping. I like that."

"The printing work has been decent but the customer service is terrible. Ordered business cards for a client that were supposed to be delivered on Monday in time for a business trip the next day. Client calls to tell me that business cards have not arrived so I call OvernightPrints. The customer service rep tells me that there was a system error and the cards were never printed! I asked why I wasn't informed about this and she said that there system was not set up that way. I was forced to order a rush batch of cards to be printed for my client in the town where they were headed for business so ended up paying double the cost of the original cards. The next day I called and spoke with a manager and demanded that they refund me the cost of the new cards I had to purchase or just refund my money and send the cards I ordered. She said it was impossible for them to deliver cards and refund my money so my only choice was to cancel the order. When I asked about why I wasn't informed about THEIR system error that kept the order from being printed, she told me that they were a "self-service printing company" and that I should carefully read the terms of service when I order because it is MY responsibility to check on my order and make sure it has gone into production and shipped to me. They obviously have no idea how to treat customers properly when they blame the customer for their mistakes. STAY AWAY if you don't want customer service hassles."

"I have ordered several times before from Overnight Prints and got lucky. But this time I ordered 1000 postcards on a rush for a client. They were delivered with one side up-side down. I called and they did not answer and did not return my call. Later I got an email saying this was "customer error". When I tried to call again I was placed on hold with the elevator music for 10 min. and then disconnected. This is a company that truly does not care about its customers. I will never order from them again."

"I ordered 7000 postcards on 06/01/10 from Overnight print and chose the 3 day select for the shipping. They promised to be delivered on or before 06/07. I did not get my postcards on 06/07 like they promised. I called the company and waited about 15 minutes to speak with somebody and he told me they had not printed my postcards yet and did not know when they could print them. He did not seem to even care. I cancelled my order, but until today they have not refunded my money. Very Bad Company to do business. If you have a deadline, never print anything from this company, as they will not care about your order and their reputation!"

"I tried ordering postcards online. Didn't work. Message error. I started over. The new order added up to the old one. I got a error message again anyway. Customer service didn't seem to be able to understand my problem. I sent them 4 emails. I had to repeat and point out things I had written in the first emails so they would stop with their irrelevent suggestions. But they did not fix the problem and ignored my questions about the error message. It felt like they didn't care much. It's not the first time I have problems with them, but it is certainly the last one."

"They respond to complaints by telling you you are wrong. Customer service was the worst. They don't care about your complaint, just go on and on about what they are not responsible for. Their design guide does not have all the information you need to create a correct file to print from. The cards I received were awful and their solution was to offer me an in store 50% credit. I wouldn't give them another dime of my money. Nasty company.... avoid at all costs."

"Terrible printing job and despicable customer service. After ordering 1,000 postcards at a cost of over $170, I became aware, when I got a third of the way through the box, that the remainder of the cards were printed with wildly different colors and exposures. They looked terrible, and a vast number were unusable. When I contacted the company about reprinting the order, they refused because it was more than 30 days after I placed my order. I explained why I hadn't been aware of the problem earlier, but that the printing was faulty. But they still REFUSED to correct their faulty printing job. I own a business myself and have a 30-day return policy. But when I sell something that is discovered to be defective, I will ALWAYS take it back, no matter how much time has passed. The reputation of my business depends on it. This company obviously doesn't care about its reputation, and it certainly doesn't care about its customers. STAY AWAY at all costs! From now on I am sticking with Vistaprint. (Oh, and did I mention how rude and surly their "customer service" reps were?"

"If you order from them, you may end up getting the wrong order. I usually order from Vistaprint but I wanted double side gloss on my business card so I went to Overnight Prints online. I spent a lot of time creating the business card but then when I tried to do any editing, the two business card became the same one-no matter what kind of editing I did, it would change both card to look the same. I called them (hold time is kind of long) and the representative told me that it's an internal error on their website. I had to start from scratch so I did and make NO edits. Just created 2 business cards. Order it for glossy both side. Guess what? Received both business cards nonglossy and they are the same cards (not two different cards as ordered). The only thing I can think could have is that I entered a promotional code and this may trigger the internal error. I called them and their solution was for me to speak to a person who can recover the file so I can order more! They transferred me to this department and keep me on hold for a long time to wait since I have a business to run. Either way, very unhappy with the result."

"I reluctantly ordered 1000 business cards from this company after reading a bunch of mixed reviews. But I wanted to have my own cards without print ads on the back, and a lower price than the local printers, $49(After coupon) versus $150 local. So I gave these guys a try.

I order on Sep.18th and put the order, double sided full color, on priority ground shipping. They arrived in perfect condition and excellent quality on the 21st! I wasn't even expecting them until wed or Thursday of this week because I ordered on a Friday but they got here on Monday!

Excellent site makes it easy to customize, or like me upload your own design. VERY fast shipping, and excellent quality on the cards I've received. I will be ordering from them again when I need some more printing done!

"I've ordered business cards and flyers for my art gallery from overnightprints.com 5 times in the last 2 years. Each time my order was filled perfectly and shipped when expected. I provide my copy as PDFs and you see a preview on the order form that shows how they'll look. Their paper quality is excellent and the print job is perfect. Since I use these to promote my art gallery I wouldn't be re-ordering if the quality wasn't perfect. Upload good quality artwork and you'll receive good quality printing."

"Absolutely terrible customer service. I ordered business cards to be used as tickets for our upcoming dance show. Previously we'd had good experience with overnight prints--their price was reasonable and the quality decent. I was also ordering a number of materials for our dance business at the same time. The materials that weren't as time sensitive arrived 7-10 days after the order was placed. The business card tickets, however, didn't arrive. There was a small glitch where the order was placed on hold because of an error between what the card-creator program showed and what it was actually trying to print, but that was quickly resolved. The cards didn't arrive and didn't arrive, and no shipping confirmation came. Here's the timeline: I ordered the cards on the 20th, fixed them on the 21st, and expected, reasonably, that they arrive by March 31st. The day ticket sales opened, April 3rd, still no tickets. I finally called April 7th to figure out where these tickets could possibly be. I spoke with Terrie, who said that the cards had been printed for a while, but nobody had attached the shipping label and sent them out. I asked that since they had been forgotten for at least a week, if she could expedite the shipping because these were time sensitive. She said she would ensure that would happen and that the cards would arrive by Friday. I got an email confirmation today that said they had been shipped Ground and were currently in Kentucky. I live in Washington state. I called and talked with Terrie and she apologized and said there was nothing to be done and that she wasn't authorized to offer any credit. I asked to speak to her manager and was placed on hold for a few minutes before I talked with Steve. He said that I should have read the fine print on the shipping (Ground) and that orders could be delayed for any reason. I said that if I hadn't called and asked about my order, it might have never been shipped since it was "lost" in production. He had no apology to offer, no offer of credit, nothing. He didn't care that I was a repeat customer (we'd ordered prints from them for years). He said there was nothing he could or would do. And so here I am writing this review. I will never do business with them again. Buyer beware. "
