"We ordered corporate Christmas Cards through OP and paid for expedited shipping. The order was supposed to arrive on December 14th. After it didn't show we called customer support 5 different times on different days to check order status. Each time we were told the order was finished and would be on our doorstep the next day. It's now December 28th. I called today and was told that our order hasn't even been printed yet. Not only was our important marketing piece ruined, we were treated poorly by customer service. The eventually gave us a refund, but nothing else."

"Placed my order through the website and received confirming email on Monday (12/6/2010) @1:48pm.
On Wednesday I sent an inquiring email through the website's "Contact us" expressing my concern that the project/printing didn't seem to be moving along.
On Thursday I sent another email, plus called customer service voicing my concerns.
On Saturday I received an email apologize for any inconvenience and offering to ship 3 day select for Friday delivery.
On the following Monday I sent another email, plus called customer service pointing out that I had already paid for expedited shipping and that I need to receive my order by Thursday PM. In my phone call they agreed to ship 2nd day UPS.
By Wednesday morning order had not shipped and another phone call resulted in upgrading shipping to Next Day Air UPS.
After following up Thursday AM, with order not printed or shipped, I was told that order was printed and that I would receive an email with tracking information. Order was printed Thursday, but not shipped until Friday.
Order was received on Monday (12/20/2010).
My assessment and advice to anyone dealing with Overnight Prints:
1) Their concept is good, but they lack the systems and controls to handle any problems or to give customers firm information.
2) Customer service's main function is apologizing and defusing the situation, not solving problems or following up on customer concerns.
3) In the end, not one thing went off as promised and all dates/times/targets were missed.
4) If you feel compelled to do business, stick to their core of 4x6 postcards and business cards.
5) Finally, as with any business, when things go well they go well. Its only when there are problems that you appreciate people who are in control of their business and are set-up the serve the customer (you).

"I have been using Overnight Prints for about a year now, and have been extremely happy. In that year I have placed approximately 20 orders. Those orders have been for a total of 125,000 5.5x8.5 double-sided postcards, 10,000 tri-fold brochures, 10,000 magnets, and a few other small things. The products have been of very high quality (I always compare our postcards with other companies' advertising postcards that I receive, and ours are always much nicer), and are very reasonably priced (especially with Overnight Prints' frequent promotions). While the printing/delivery time got significantly longer about six months ago for the cheapest shipping option, I don't care since I order well-ahead of my need anyway. If I needed something quicker, I would simply choose a faster shipping method.

I was very surprised to read some of the comments here about poor customer service. My customer service experiences have been excellent. Although most of my orders have proceeded without a hitch, the few that had problems were dealt with very quickly, easily, and reasonably. For example, in my latest order, they shorted me 1,000 (out of 14,000) of one postcard, but sent me an extra 1,000 (also out of 14,000) of another postcard. Since the total was the same, and since I would eventually use the extras and didn't need the short ones for months, I told them not to worry about it but I just wanted to let them know. They insisted on reprinting the 1,000 missing postcards at no cost, even though I told them that there was no need. So as a result, I will wind up with a free 1,000 postcards!

I would definitely recommend Overnight Prints to anyone.

"Worst CS ever. Paid $100 on a $50 order to receive in time. Product no-show, company blames UPS.
No offer to refund, no sympathy or apology, no nothing. Tough sh$t Mr. Customer, eat $100.

"Customer service is lacking!

I had been a customer for the past 4/5 years (see the review I wrote for them [below] back in 2010) and enjoyed good service and good customer service during this time.

However, with my most recent order, I did not receive the correct order, I initially contacted the company on March 10 with my concerns, and now it is April 11, and I still do not have any resolution. In addition, when I contacted customer service on March 27, 2015, I did not hear back from the company until April 4, 2015 (due to high volumes of contacts: which usually is not a good sign).

Also, in the past, when I had a concern, I ended up working with only one customer service representative. However, at this time, I am on my third representative and with each representative, I have to start all over again...

This was my review from December 2010 (Invoice #88382493)

I was extremely pleased with the product that Overnight Prints delivered. I do not print a lot of items, but on both occasions I have worked with them, they have delivered as promised.
Notably, the packaging could have been better. While 90% of my printed materials was nicely stacked in the box in which they were shipped, 10% of the printed materials and 100% of the envelopes were in disarray when I opened the container. Most importantly though, nothing was damaged.
Secondly, ONP bases their printing schedule on one's shipping choice. If a person chooses the least expensive form of shipping, ONP will not even print the item for a number of days. While my order arrived a few days ahead of schedule, it is good to check the progress of one's order along the way.
Thirdly, I had a question about my order, and e-mailed ONP through their Web site. I received replies to both of my e-mails within one day. While the first customer service person did not actually answer my original question, a senior customer service person did.
Fourthly, it took me a while to prepare the actual document. From reading the information that ONP posts on their Web site, I had to experiment with Microsoft Publisher and Adobe to make sure that I met all of ONPs' specifications. While do-able (and well explained), it was not a simple task (i.e., you are hiring a printer, not a graphics designer).
Finally, if I used them more, I may have been more aware of some of the promotional offers or coupons available before placing my order.
I would rank them an 8 or 9 out of 10 in regard to overall satisfaction.

"Their prices are very affordable and they print in smaller quantities that other companies do not offer. The variety of services offered and quality of printing are also good. This was my first order with Overnight Prints and even though there was a misprint, they were quick and happy to fix it to meet my needs. "These guys are on top of everything. Most online printing services have no idea where your order is or when it will ship. These guys know exactly when, when, and how of everything you ever need to know about your order. Need to expedite at the last minute... they can do it. Something wrong... they will fix it. Oh yeah, and they almost always have some type of sale going on and there mailing service is exceptionally affordable."

"I've used Overnight prints for a few years now. My latest order resulted in two sets of business cards showing up in a matter of days. Quick as always. The first set came out perfect. Bravo.
The second set had issues, the back side having what looked like lint on the cards, and a low luster coat of UV gloss. I sent their customer support an email, they promptly got a new order out to me the next day, also sending me a pre-paid UPS return for the bad cards. No cost to me at all. The re-printed cards came back to me looking great.
I understand that problems happen in any business. As long as that business takes care of, and quickly resolves the issues, I can ask for nothing more of them.
Bottom line, Great service at a Great price.
I placed a new order today.
I will continue to use Overnight Prints for the foreseeable future.

"You would think that if you're going to start a business card site,you would know,how to print said cards..i would also think you would find a way to send these products to your customers in a timely,undamaged manner...
all these thing can't be said about overnightprints.com
they just chuck your cards in a envelope...
so when you get your cards,they are all bent up...
they look like they are made with a bootleg inkjet printer,completed with pixelated lettering...
no mater that they cost next to nothing...
you wont want to give these cards to anyone...
they took over 15 day to get to me! (lol "overnightprints.com")
they want me to send back there mistake,with my money...and they will send more the same way...(whaaa?)
there are some many printing sites online...
you could close your eyes and pick a better one...

"Just 1 day late.
What does "on or before August 11th" mean to you? To me, it meant that I'd have the cards I ordered in time to use them at the event I planned to attend.
When the cards didn't show, I called Overnightprints.com and begged them for some other solution where I could still receive the cards. They kindly offered to "refund my shipping charges". WHAT!?
In this case, what would you want? I wanted to keep the cards and get 100% of my money back. It's only $100! Instead, it was calls and emails back to ONP when finally I got a letter from ****@****. This person still accused me of trying to get free cards and quoted "terms of service" items that didn't even apply! Thanks alot!
Here are the exact facts: Ordered Aug 4th for "on or before Aug 11" shipping, that's ground and yea, the cheapest way. I was leaving Aug 12th. The cards were knowingly shipped late on Aug 6th (they told me they knew they'd be late) without a call or even email saying they'd be late. When I called Aug 11 to see where my cards were, ONP was flippant about the lateness. Hello! Over-night-prints?
Finally, ONP did refund all my money and offered to let me keep the cards... TOO LATE! I had already sent the cards.

DO NOT USE Overnightprints.com if you want your shipment delivered on time.

"I have been ordering from ONP for at least four years,and I have to say I am shocked that people are not more positive about them. I am a marketing consultant who has ordered prints from ONP for a large number of clients, and I have to say that everything I've gotten from them has been a great value for the money (and often the time as well). They offer a relatively large number of printing options, make it easy to order, adn provide pricing and delivery options right there on the site. They are not going to be appropriate for every job you do (e.g., ones that require PMS matches or anything with an unusual die cut, or anything requiring a coating other than UV gloss ... but they ROCK at what they do. It sounds like several of the people who are upset in these reviews just didn't read the fine print or expected an online print house to be doing high-end offset print work. If you try to use them for this, yes, I guess you might be disappointed, but that would be your own fault. I find that I usually get some random print/cutting issues on maybe (maybe 1%) of my order, but everything is so cheap, just order a few more. If you use them for what they do WELL (which they tell you about up front) you should look great in front of your clients. Customer service is also great. In 2006 I thought their customer service stank, but over the years they have really brought it up to a very high standard. And I am a difficult customer. I love'em."
