"I got a tip from a colleague to try PCNation because I was trying to find/buy a new Nikon D800 (as I've been on another retailer's pre-order waiting list for 5 months!). As soon as I contacted the PCNation account manager, Pearl Conley, she was on it and was just a pleasure to work with. She responded to my phone call and emails very quickly! She did a fantastic job and when they got the next shipment of D800s within a couple days of me ordering, she stayed late to get it shipped out the same day! It was sent FedEx 3 day for free. Awesome customer service."

"The Nikon D800 has been a very difficult item to find. Although I was on a wait list, I know my wait was far shorter than had I placed an order with other larger internet companies. The most impressive part was the customer service. I worked with the same person (Pearl Conley) through out the entire process. She was extremely professional and did an excellent job communicating my status and then eventually fulfilling my order. I will definitely order again through PCNation."

"The crew at PCNation are great! I had never purchased from them and I decided to do it on a major purchase. Everyone I have dealt with has been wonderful. They have great customer service and are very quick to answer any questions. The CS rep I talked with when I initially ordered the camera was very helpful. I had never ordered through them and they call to verify your credit card. I beat them to the punch because I wanted to make sure there wasn't an issue with the card because of something on my end. He verified the card and the camera was shipped that afternoon within a couple of hours of talking to him. Unfortunately, the camera had to be returned for a manufacturing issue. Mark was quick to respond to emails and got me an RMA quickly. I thought it would be a couple of weeks to process and get a new camera out. It was done within I think a weak. Pearl was awesome. She treated me like we were old friends. She even stayed late to get everyone the cameras they have been waiting for. I felt bad she stayed late...we could have one more day. I only "spoke" with these great people through email but they treated me very well. It was like I had been buying from them for years. They actually showed personality in their correspondences and not just a standard canned written response. The personal touch and service goes a long way in my book. Thanks Pearl, Mark and Katie (she set up my extended warranty). You all are fantastic! Keep up the good work! Pearl, quit working late! :)"

"PCNation advertised FedEx 3-day shipping, as confirmed in my order invoice, but both the online tracking and the FedEx label on the package show FedEx Ground is actually used.

When I first noticed the discrepancy, I immediately contacted Customer Service, who insisted that there are no error and 3-day shipping is what was used to ship my order, and they never responded when I followed up with them asking how come the online tracking showed Ground shipping instead.

Although they offer a good price, I do not like shopping with merchants who either knowingly put out false information, or do not want to investigate reported issues, or do not want to admit their mistakes and instead choose to ignore their customers.

"I ordered the impossible to get Nikon D800 from PCNation. I was on waiting list's at big retailers and found PCNation online. I love the less corporate feel to the company, great customer service (with emails actually from a real person and not a generic email), and fast shipment. I ordered the camera and got it 4 days later. I had been on waiting lists at Best Buy and B&H Photo for months."
