"First off it was not mentioned on the website that the product was only available to LICENSED MICROSOFT REFURBISHERS, or just what that was. Once Microsoft RRPNA explained that it was illegal for this product to even be sold to me, much less would I be able to activate the licenses, I have been working with Mark, Return Specialist at PCNation. I was eventually sent information for an RMA and quickly returned the item in it's original condition. After several weeks I inquired of Mark as to the status of my refund, especially since I had received notice of delivery by UPS. I explained that they publicly claim a prompt 3 week resolution on such matters. I was then told that it could be a few days before he received notice from their returns dept. I have stated my surprise at this extended delay as it has been well over two months now since I originally ordered, and I have not received my refund or any reason for this LONG delay. I am beginning to believe that they intend to simply keep my $105.21 Please assist in whatever way you can. "

"One 02/27/2012 I became a new PCNation customer and made a simple online purchase of 3 Nikon EN-EL14 rechargeable LI-ON batteries. I noticed a minor typo shortly after submitting my order and identified the issue with PCNation. Minutes later, PCNation's Account Manager promptly addressed the oversight and sent several emails ensuring me that my order was being processed issue free. "Placed my order for a high-end Eizo S2433WFS monitor overnight on Wednesday. Thursday morning I got a call explaining that because the shipper turned out to be in CA and since it was being shipped to me in CA that unfortunately I had to pay sales tax (which had not been part of my original online purchase). I accepted the charge, as the base item price for this hard-to-find product was still just about the absolute lowest available from any retailer, along with free shipping. Many were far more expensive. Even with tax this was a terrific price.
Later on Thursday afternoon I received an email, confirming shipping but showing the extra as "handling charge" rather than "sales tax" as I'd expected. Seemed odd, so I emailed their customer service about it.
By Friday morning I'd received an email back, from the very same gentleman who identified himself as THE person who'd actually called me on the phone and spoken to me about the sales tax. He explained clearly that since they were in Illinois and were not actually collecting and paying the sales tax to CA, but rather the CA shipper was going to do that, that they couldn't show it as "sales tax" but HAD to list it as "CA/MA handling charge" (since apparently MA has the same story). He was very polite and well spoken and his explanation seemed completely reasonable and was perfectly satisfactory to me.
Well, Friday afternoon the monitor arrived! Perfect condition, brand new in a box, exactly as hoped for. Ordered Wednesday night and delivery on Friday afternoon... sales tax, but free shipping.
This outfit is TERRIFIC! Everything they said and did was honest and upfront, and the price for this high-end monitor was super-low... plus free shipping. The phone call from customer service was reasonable and polite (and in English!), and their email response to my query was prompt and understandable.
I will ABSOLUTELY SHOP WITH THESE PEOPLE IN THE FUTURE!

"I ordered a camcorder that was advertised at 40% off MSRP on 12/14/11. According to their website at that time, the camcorder was in stock and available to ship with free 2-day shipping. Three days later on 12/17 I received an email that the camcorder was now out of stock and had been placed on backorder, but was expected to ship in 1-2 weeks. That was the last email I received from PCNation until 3 weeks later when I began emailing their customer service dept to find out what was going on. I found out after communicating with two different customer service reps that they could not get that particular camcorder back in stock nor could they get anything in the same price range from the same manufacturer. I suggested different brand of camcorder and requested a similar discount to the one I missed out on and they quoted me their advertised price ($69 more than my original order). I then asked them to at least match the cheapest price I found online ($33 less than their price) since this one was not marked down as much as the one I originally ordered and they refused. When I asked to cancel my order I was told the best they could do was offer me $18 off their advertised price because they did not want to lose money on the sale. Well, they have now lost a customer. IMO the least they could have done was offered to price-match a replacement camcorder since they couldn't get the one I originally ordered nor anything comparable from that manufacturer, but they would not. In addition, they did not even contact me to let me know that my original purchase was no longer available; I had to contact them to find that out. In all fairness the 2nd customer service rep who I dealt with was very nice, but was not ultimately able to do much to help. Will not purchase here again. Poor communication and poor customer service."
