"Let me start by assuring you that I do NOT work for PCNation. Also, I am of the age that purchasing online is not something that I do on a regular basis ... I worry about my credit card number floating around in cyberspace.

Anyway, I did a lot of research before I purchased my new camera (Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi), including "etailers" histories. In fact, I ordered the camera from ExpressCamera then read all the negative reviews, plus the fact that they are being investigated by New Jersy's attorney general and have an unsatisfactory rating with the Better Business Bureau. So I cancelled my order with them (and I'm still holding my breath hoping that they don't charge my card anyway). Then I looked at the top five online companies and used a combination of reputation and price, and decided to order from PCNation. I'm glad I did.

I emailed them ahead of time with a few questions about the camera (is it grey-market, is it the complete package that Canon sells, etc.) and I told them that there was no point in upselling me because I had a fixed budget. I received a return email from Jarvis answering all my questions, then I called him to double-check (I want to be sure before I spend my money). He could not have been more pleasant and helpful on the phone. At that point I felt comfortable about ordering.

I then placed my order using their free FedEx 3-day shipping. I ordered it on a Wednesday. I had mentioned to Jarvis on the phone that I was going to try to use it for an event on Sunday, and that I should have ordered it earlier in the week. Now, I'm not saying that he checked all the orders, found mine, and made sure it went out that day, but according to the tracking information (which I received in an email--some people say they never get any tracking information, but I did), my order was shipped out that day and arrived to me 2 days later ... in time for the weekend.

To make a long story even longer, I would definitely buy from PCNation again.

"I ordered a lens from this vendor and it was listed as available in a few weeks. After months of waiting and every single other vendor on the web now having these in stock for months I gave up on the good price at PCNation and paid more for it from a vendor that could actually deliver it. My guess is that PCNation did not want to honnor the price they advertised it at since they marked the rpice up on the lens a few days after I ordered it by a few hundred dollars. I order alot of items online but I will never use these guys again. I know lots of people had better expereience with them but I am highly dissapointed."

"Best Price on the net. Went shopping for best total price and PCNation is it. FREE 2-3 day shipping!!!
I really liked the extra precaution the site used against fraud...made me feel at ease about ordering online...the verification process was very quick but detailed. The product itself is great. They were $50.00 cheaper than some but at least $5-15 cheaper than the other web dealers.
So far so very good.

"My only complaint is that they did not give me any tracking information. I can deal with the idea I did not get an email stating my merchandise had shipped so I had to go to there Website to check the status but they did not even supply tracking info there. I had to call them to find out the tracking #. If they would have posted that on their site with the rest of the info I would have no complaints.
Shipping was fast just no tracking info.

"I am very unhappy with my experience. My billing address was different from shipping - apparently on first time orders this requires verification. Although I appreciate the security, your method of dealing with this is awful. Put up a warning or ask that the person call in, something to let your customer know that there will be a problem.

I kept wondering why my order hadn't shipped, despite your guarantee of immediate shipping, so I called. Your customer service rep was terrible. He said that I had been called the previous day, I have voice mail and caller and I know no one called me. It turned out later that I was right, I had not been called yet, but he treated me as if I was lying. Not a good start. I ordered this on Monday, hoping to get it on Friday. So when I called, I asked if I could upgrade the shipping. Your rep was very quick to tell me I could, but that it would not be paid for. First, that isn't what I asked. Second, his tone was incredibly rude. Third, I was clearly already unhappy, was he trying to provoke I fight? I said, admittedly this was a bit snarky, that given the level of customer service I had already received I expected nothing less. Things deteriorated from there.

I will not be ordering from you again, and I will also actively discourage others from doing so. Your website is fine, your people need serious customer service training.

"I ordered a GPS navigation system through PC Nation. The ordering went well and I received my order in the specified time. However, the unit I received was defective. When I inquired as to how to handle the return, PC Nation told me that I would have to pay myself without reimbursement to return the defective item they sold me. I asked why I should have to pay due to the fact that they sent out the defective product. I was told that this was their policy and that nothing could be done about it. I was also told that it could take up to 2-3 weeks to issue a replacement. Needless to say, that's the last time I will be doing business with PC Nation.W06"

"The fastest free 3 day shipping I have ever had in all my 9 years of online shopping. Ordered Phaser 6120 printer on Dec 28 2006 at 7:52pm. The next day, order status was "in warehouse", but Fedex driver showed up with printer on Jan 2nd. That's more like one-day free shipping! Thank you.

In addition to that, they shipped me a "new" printer as advertised (not used printer, like bdsupplies.com).

PC Nation is now in my list of five preferred online stores, selected over 9 years of shopping.

"AAA+++ service! I ordered a scanner from PCNation and found the order process to be very clear and easy. The price was the best one I could find and there were no hidden charges. They let me know exactly how much everything would cost. The scanner arrived in time for Christmas and was in good shape. "Good price, good selection....BAD charge card policy!!! Purchased a GPS for my parents for the holidays and was having it dropped shipped directly to my parents with the FREE shipping they offered. They wanted me to contact my charge card company and add my parents address as a secondary billing address. After they establish that I was a trustworthy customer then they would dropship to other addresses with no problem. Time cannot be replaced and this company wasted a lot of my time and expense. Ordered from another company( that did not have a problem with the different ship to/bill to addresses) but had the added expense of next day freight."
